A drive unit for a vehicle may include a motor, a casing accommodating the motor, an electric pump unit attached to a lower part of the casing and configured to circulate heat medium within the casing and a filter unit attached to the lower part of the casing and configured to filter the heat medium. At least a part of the electric pump unit and at least a part of the filter unit each protrude outside the casing. Outside the casing, the filter unit is adjacent to the electric pump unit from a front in the vehicle.

Provided is a stator including a stator core composed of an annular core back and teeth projecting from the inner circumference side of the core back, and an end plate for clamping and pressing at least one end side of the core back and the teeth in the axial direction.

A controller for a switched reluctance motor, which includes a rotor, a stator, and coils wound around the stator and which is mounted on a vehicle as a traveling drive source, the controller including: a control unit performing regenerative control to apply a positive voltage and a negative voltage to the coils so that a current value of the coils becomes a first target current value in a predetermined regenerative region. Further, when the battery charge state value is a predetermined value or more, the control unit reduces a section where a negative voltage is applied to the coils to be narrower than that in a case where a battery charge state value is less than the predetermined value.

Controller for switched reluctance motor

In a control device for a switched reluctance motor, a voltage drop control is executed in which a voltage dropped to be lower than a voltage applied in a case where the switched reluctance motor is driven in a high-load region is applied to the switched reluctance motor, in a case where the switched reluctance motor is driven in a low-load region. The low-load region is a lower load region than the high-load region.

Control device for switched reluctance motor

An electric vehicle includes front-wheel electric motor and rear-wheel electric motor driving front and rear wheels, respectively; a control unit controlling driving of those electric motors. Further, one of the electric motors is a permanent-magnet motor and the other is a magnetless motor, a maximum output of the permanent-magnet motor is smaller than a maximum output of the magnetless motor, and the control unit includes: a first drive control unit configured to drive the permanent-magnet motor when vehicle speed is in a first vehicle-speed range; and a second drive control unit configured to drive only the magnetless motor when the vehicle speed is in a second vehicle speed range, vehicle speeds in the second vehicle speed range are greater than vehicle speeds in the first vehicle-speed range.

Electric vehicle

A controller for a switched reluctance motor is provided. The switched reluctance motor includes a rotor, a stator, and a coil wound on the stator. The switched reluctance motor is mounted on a vehicle as a drive source for propelling the vehicle. The controller includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to execute first control for exciting the coil at a first current value in a first exciting range. The electronic control unit is configured to, when the electronic control unit determines that the vehicle is not able to start moving even when the electronic control unit executes the first control, execute second control for exciting the coil at a second current value larger than the first current value in a second exciting range narrower than the first exciting range.

A control system for a hybrid vehicle configured to generate a required power continuously even if a large power is required frequently. An operating mode of the hybrid vehicle is selected from HV mode and EV mode, and in the hybrid vehicle, a drive power established by generating maximum output power of the engine is smaller than a drive power established by supplying a maximum electric power to the motor from the electric storage device. A controller is configured to shift the operating mode from the EV mode to the HV mode when an SOC level of a battery falls below a threshold level, and to raise the threshold level when a required running condition in the electric vehicle mode is a condition that cannot be achieved by the engine without operating the motor given that the hybrid vehicle is propelled in the hybrid mode.

Control system for hybrid vehicle

A switched reluctance motor system includes a switched reluctance motor, a rotor including a plurality of salient poles, a stator including a plurality of salient poles, coils of three phases wound around the salient poles of the stator, and an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to drive the switched reluctance motor in a pole configuration pattern of NSNSNS in which the salient poles of the stator that have different polarities are alternately arranged. The electronic control unit is configured to perform current waveform control when an excitation sound frequency of a given order coincides with a resonance frequency of the switched reluctance motor.

Switched reluctance motor system, and method of controlling switched reluctance motor system

A switched reluctance motor include: a stator; a case in which the stator is accommodated; a rotor disposed inward of the stator in the radial direction of the switched reluctance motor; and a holding member fixed to the case. The holding member is configured to hold the stator with the stator spaced apart from an inner peripheral surface of the case. The holding member includes a holding portion and a fixed portion. The holding portion is configured to hold the stator from the outside in the radial direction. The holding portion is spaced apart from the inner peripheral surface of the case. The fixed portion is fixed to the case.

Switched reluctance motor

An electronic control unit switches a switching circuit such that a switched reluctance motor has a first winding pattern, when, with respect to a boundary dividing a driving range of the switched reluctance motor into two ranges, a torque and a rotational speed of the switched reluctance motor that are determined according to an applied voltage are located in the first range on the low load side. The electronic control unit switches the switching circuit such that the switched reluctance motor has a second winding pattern, when the torque and the rotational speed of the switched reluctance motor are located in a second range different from the first range.

Circuit and control method for the same

A control device for a switched reluctance motor includes an inverter having a switching circuit that switches a magnetic pole to provide a first winding pattern or a second winding pattern. With respect to a boundary dividing a driving range of the switched reluctance motor into two ranges, the control device performs switching to the first winding pattern when the torque and the rotational speed are located in the first range on the low load side, performs switching to the second winding pattern when the torque and the rotational speed are located in the second range, allows switching of the magnetic pole in a case where a current of the phase whose magnetic pole is to be switched among the three-phase coils is 0, and prohibits switching of the magnetic pole in a case where the current of the phase whose magnetic pole is to be switched is not 0.

A vehicular control apparatus that includes a switched reluctance motor and an electronic control unit is provided. The switched reluctance motor has a rotor and a stator and is mounted as a travel drive source in a vehicle. The electronic control unit executes current control of the switched reluctance motor. The electronic control unit executes first current control for causing the rotor to rotate in a reverse direction from a rotational direction in which the vehicle is started in the case where the vehicle is not started even when the switched reluctance motor outputs maximum torque within an allowable range, and executes control for causing the rotor to rotate in the rotational direction in which the vehicle is started after the rotor rotates in the reverse direction by the first current control to a rotation position at which torque for enabling a start of the vehicle can be output.
