A connection member to be inserted into a through-hole of a socket module that is electrically connected between an electronic component and a substrate, the connection member includes: a first end portion that is connected to the electronic component; a second end portion that is connected to the substrate; a plurality of upper flexure portions that correspond to projections of a waveform arranged near the electronic component; and a plurality of lower flexure portions that correspond to projections of the waveform arranged near the substrate; wherein the connection member is a single conductor member with elasticity and is formed in the shape of the waveform.

An enclosure for a connector is disclosed. The enclosure includes two or more enclosure parts, each having a joint such that the enclosure parts are fit together to constitute the enclosure. The joint may have a continuation of linear segments to form a shape like mountains, wherein the length of each segment is smaller than a wavelength corresponding to an operational frequency.

A disclosed coaxial connector can be surface-mounted on a circuit board without degradation in signal transmission characteristics. The coaxial connector includes a center conductor, a surrounding conductor by which the center conductor is surrounded, and an insulating housing. The center conductor has a leg portion at its base end. The surrounding conductor has six lugs at its base end that extend radially. The leg portion and the lugs are exposed on a bottom surface of the housing. The coaxial connector is mounted on the circuit board with the leg portion pressed against a signal pad on the circuit board for electrical connection and the lugs pressed against a ground pad for electrical connection.

Surface mount coaxial connector assembly

An input device, which detects a position of a movable object moving on a given plane and inputs an instruction, includes a first detection portion and a second detection portion. The first detection portion detects the position of the movable object in a first direction. The second detection portion detects the position of the movable object in a second direction crossed at right angle to the first direction. The first detection portion and the second detection portion detect movement amounts of the movable object in the first direction and in the second direction, based on a change of either a light quantity or a magnetic flux.

Input device

An input device includes a substrate and a movable object that moves on the substrate. One of the substrate and the movable object includes a magnetic field generator and the other of the substrate and the movable object includes electromagnetic conversion elements provided to detect magnetic fields generated outside of the magnetic field generator.

An input device includes an operation portion, a holding portion, a detection portion and at least a switch. The holding portion holds the operation portion so that the operation portion is rotatable around a given axis. The detection portion detects a rotational position of the operation portion with respect to the holding portion. A condition of the switch changes according to an external force exerted to the operation portion.

Input device and electronics device

A high speed transmission connector including several signal contact pairs arranged in a parallel array, each including a pair of signal contacts constituting a balanced transmission line; several ground contacts, each being arranged between two signal contact pairs arranged in the parallel array; and an electro-insulating body supporting the signal contact pairs and the ground contacts. Each signal contact is provided with a contacting section at one longitudinal end for conductive contact with a corresponding signal contact of a counterpart connector, a board connecting section at another longitudinal end for connection with a conductor on a circuit board, and an attaching section between the contacting section and the board connecting section for an attachment to the body. All of the board connecting sections of the signal contacts are disposed along a first lateral surface of the body. The signal contacts of the signal contact pairs are individually covered, at least partially, by materials having dielectric constants different from each other, in certain regions defined between board connecting sections and attaching sections.

High speed transmission connector

A liquid fuel cell system is disclosed. The liquid fuel cell system includes a liquid fuel cell unit and a liquid fuel cartridge that can be connected to the liquid fuel cell unit. The liquid fuel cell unit and the liquid fuel cartridge each include a valve unit. The liquid fuel cartridge is connected to the liquid fuel cell unit so as to pour and supply liquid fuel that is a methanol solution from the liquid fuel cartridge to the liquid fuel cell unit. Using the supplied liquid fuel, the liquid fuel cell unit generates power to charge a battery. After the charging, both of the valve units are opened to return the liquid fuel remaining in the liquid fuel cell unit back to the liquid fuel cartridge, and thus, the liquid fuel cell unit is emptied.

Liquid fuel cell system

A connector includes a housing and a plurality of contact module assemblies in the housing, wherein each contact module assembly includes a first signal contact module where a first signal contact body is inserted in a first resin molded part, a second signal contact module where a second signal contact body is inserted in a second resin molded part, and a ground plate, wherein the ground plate is sandwiched between the first signal contact module and the second signal contact module, so that a microstrip line structure is formed, and wherein, in the microstrip line structure, the first signal contact body and the second signal contact body form a stripline conductor, the first resin molded part and the second resin molded part form a dielectric board, and the ground plate forms a common ground conductor.

Connector

A contact member is disclosed that includes a trunk part into which a strip-shaped part is formed substantially annularly; a first contact part at a first end of the trunk part; and a second contact part at a second end of the trunk part, the second contact part being positioned inside the first contact part. The first contact part and the second contact part face each other. The strip-shaped part is configured to be elastically twisted to cause the second contact part to come into contact with the first contact part in response to the second contact part being pressed in a direction of the axis of the trunk part. The strip-shaped part includes multiple turn-around parts between the first contact part and the second contact part.

Contact member and connector including same

A haptic panel apparatus is disclosed that enables an operator to sense movement of a touch panel through touch when an input is made. The touch panel is accommodated within a base member, and an electromagnetic drive mechanism is provided between the touch panel and the base member. When the operator operates the touch panel with his/her fingertip and an input is made, the electromagnetic drive mechanism is driven to induce the touch panel to recede. In turn, the operator senses the receding of the touch panel through his/her fingertip to recognize that an input has been properly made.

Haptic panel apparatus

A tactile panel includes a vibration panel, a yoke provided to face the vibration panel, drive coils secured on a circumference of the vibration panel, and a set of permanent magnets arranged between the vibration panel and the yoke. The vibration panel is held by panel holding members, into which both sides of the vibration panel are inserted in a direction substantially perpendicular to a vibration direction of the vibration panel.

Tactile panel

A disclosed antenna device includes a ground plate, a feeding unit that extends from the ground plate at a predetermined angle for a predetermined length, the feeding unit being prepared perpendicular to the ground plate, and a non-conductive section formed in the ground plate. The shape of the non-conductive section is adjusted according to a desired frequency characteristic.
