To obtain a hand-held powered suction device, which secures a high suction performance by a lightweight fan while preventing a blade of the fan from being damaged or being broken due to a sucked object. Forming an air intake opening along a driving axis of a fan in a portable-type fan case and providing a fan protection member to be rotated at an upstream side in an air intake direction of the fan within the intake opening being attached so as to be integrally rotated with the driving axis, a shock absorbing surface that is perpendicular in an air intake direction of the intake opening is formed on the fan protection member.

To achieve improved cooling in a power unit, a first fan is coupled with an end of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine to cool at least a cylinder of the internal combustion engine, and a second fan is coupled with another end of the crankshaft to cool at least the cylinder. The cylinder is cooled by the air supplied from the first fan and the second fan.

Power unit

A starter which is capable of smoothly and reliably starting an internal combustion engine even though an electric motor employed is relatively small in size and output, thereby making it possible to minimize power consumption of the electric motor, to miniaturize the capacity of battery, to reduce the total weight of the starter, to enhance the durability of the starter, and to suppress the generation of failure of the starter. This starter comprises a buffering/power-accumulating means disposed midway along a power transmission system between a driving member and a driven member, wherein the buffering/power-accumulating means is enabled, during the driving process, to accumulate the power supplied through the driving process while alleviating any impact to the driven member, the accumulated power being subsequently employed to drive the driven member, and wherein the driving member is an electric motor.

Starter

There is provided a recoil starter which is capable of inhibiting settling and bending in the spiral spring of spiral spring mechanism, thus improving the durability of the spiral spring and preventing the internal hook end of the spiral spring from being easily disengaged from the core portion. The spiral spring mechanism comprises a spiral spring case placed close to the driving member, a actuating pulley placed close to the driven member, a spiral spring interposed between the spiral spring case and the actuating pulley, and means for rotating the spiral spring case only unidirectionally, wherein the outer and inner ends of the spiral spring are fastened to the spiral spring case and the actuating pulley, respectively.

A recoil starter wherein unidirectional rotating means is enabled to sustain a larger magnitude of torque, obviating the employment of parts which are high in mechanical strength, in rigidity and in working precision, thus making it possible to reduce the weight and the manufacturing cost thereof. The recoil starter includes a driving member, a driven member, and buffering/power-accumulating means interposed between the driving member and the driven member. The buffering/power-accumulating means is enabled, during the driving process, to accumulate the power supplied through the driving process while alleviating impact to the driven member. The accumulated power is subsequently employed to drive the driven member. The recoil starter includes a spiral spring mechanism having a housing adjacent to the driving member, an actuating pulley adjacent to the driven member, a buffering/power-accumulating member interposed between the housing and the actuating pulley, and unidirectional rotating means for permitting rotation of the housing unidirectionally in a driving direction, where the unidirectional rotating means is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the spring housing.

A recoil starter includes a rotary driving member that is adapted to be rotated by pulling a recoil rope and an interlocking rotary member that is adapted to be rotated independently of the rotary driving member. A buffering spring is coupled between the rotary driving member and the interlocking rotary member. The buffering spring, which may be a torsion coil spring or a spiral spring, applies a rotational bias between the rotary driving member and the interlocking rotary member and is adapted to transmit the rotation of the rotary driving member to the interlocking rotary member.

A starter that is capable of minimizing fluctuations in the pulling force of a starter rope so as to make it possible to perform a smooth pulling operation when starting an internal combustion engine includes a driving section (A), a driven section (B), and a buffering/power-accumulating device ( ) interposed between the driving section (A) and the driven section (B).

A brake device disposed in the vicinity of a clutch drum has a leaf spring having a brake pad thereon which is brought into slidable contact with the clutch drum. A cam member and a compression coil spring which opposes a cam member with the leaf spring disposed therebetween are provided on a free end of the leaf spring. The cam member is rotated by a rotatable shaft together with a pinion gear which meshes with a rack formed on a stand. When a trimmer is placed on the ground, the stand is moved upwardly and the brake pad is brought into the braking position where the brake pad slidably contacts with the clutch drum. This braking position is released when an operation lever is operated by an operator.

The present invention relates to a fully-automatic spraying system employing a spray car. The system includes a spray car body and a truck on which the spray car body is mounted so that the spray car body can be loaded onto and unloaded from the truck. A reel around which a spray-feeding hose is wound is rotatably mounted on the truck. The reel is drivingly connected to an axle of the truck.

Disclosed is a recoil starter for internal combustion engines. The recoil starter includes a rope outlet portion formed on the casing thereof. A rope guide member adapted to guide the tope abuts from within against a step portion formed in the rope outlet portion.
