An apparatus and method are described for graphics virtualization with late synchronization. For example, a virtualized graphics execution environment is implemented on a host, including a hypervisor to virtualize graphics processing resources for one or more virtual machines (VMs). A plurality of graphics commands are received responsive to execution of a graphics application in one of the VMs. The graphics commands are persisted until a frame triggering event is detected. Upon detection of a frame triggering event, the persisted graphics commands are submitted to the host.

Apparatus and method for graphics virtualization with late synchronization

An apparatus to facilitate encoding video data is disclosed. The apparatus includes rendering logic to render graphics video data as frame data, fade extractor logic to extract fade effects data to be applied to the frame data to generate frame auxiliary metadata comprising the fade effects data, weighted prediction logic to receive the frame data and the auxiliary metadata and compute one or more weighted predictions on the frame data at one or more frame sequences indicated in the fade effects data and encoding logic to encode the frame data based on the one or more weighted predictions.

Embodiments include apparatuses, methods, and systems including one or more servers and one or more storage devices, coupled with each other, to provide virtual storage service to store a file and meta data of the file for a client computing device. The file and the meta data of the file may be encrypted by the client computing device before providing to the virtual storage service. The file may be encrypted with a secret key of the client computing device, and the meta data of the file may be encrypted with a shared session key between the client computing device and the virtual storage service. The encrypted file may be stored in the one or more storage devices, and the encrypted meta data of the file may be stored in one or more secured areas of the one or more servers. Virtual storage services for client computing devices

In embodiments, apparatuses, methods and storage media are described that are associated with adjusting audio during content presentation. While content is being presented, one or more persons may be identified that are consuming the content. The persons may be identified via various techniques, such as voice recognition, facial recognition, and distance detection. When persons may be uniquely identified, user audio preferences may be retrieved and used to adjust audio. Audio may be adjusted when persons are not uniquely identified, such as based on a number of persons or their location relative to a content consumption device. Audio adjustment may include volume adjustment and/or adjustment of audio, such as through application of audio effects, as it being presented. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
