A display apparatus, an electronic apparatus, and operating methods thereof. The display apparatus includes a display, a memory to store one or more instructions, and a processor configured to execute the one or more instructions stored in the memory. The processor executes the one or more instructions to receive a request for a connection with an electronic apparatus, identify a host address in an Internet protocol (IP) address of the display apparatus by referring to a subnet mask of the display apparatus, convert the identified host address into a string comprising one or more characters according to a predefined scheme, display the string on the display, receive a connection request from the electronic apparatus based on representation of the IP address of the display apparatus according to the string displayed on the display, and establish the connection with the electronic apparatus having transmitted the request for the connection.

A display device and a method capable of rotating a display based on a type of a user command are provided. The display device according to the disclosure receives a user command while first content is displayed on the display, the display being configured to operate in a first orientation while displaying the first content, maintains the display to operate in the first orientation when the received user command is a command to control a feature corresponding to the first content, determines, based on a type of a second content, to control the display to operate in the first orientation or a second orientation different from the first orientation when the received user command is a command to display the second content on the display, and controls the motor to rotate the display based on the determined first orientation or the second orientation.

A display device includes a display; a memory storing at least one instruction; a communicator configured to communicate with a mobile device via a BLE communication network; and a controller including a processor configured to execute the at least one instruction stored in the memory. The processor is further configured to execute the at least one instruction to manage BLE identification information when the BLE identification information for identifying the mobile device connected via the BLE communication network is received from the mobile device during a normal mode in which an ambient service is being executed, and the communicator is further configured to, based on the BLE identification information received from the mobile device after a sleep mode is started, determine whether to wake up the controller based on whether information corresponding to the BLE identification information is stored in the communicator.
