An arc path forming unit and a direct current relay are disclosed. An arc path forming unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a magnet frame extending in a longitudinal direction; and a plurality of main magnet units disposed in the width direction of the magnet frame. The surfaces, which face each other, of the main magnet units have the same polarity. Therefore, magnetic fields that repel each other are generated in a space between the respective main magnet units. An electromagnetic force in the direction oriented toward the outside of the arc path forming unit is formed by means of the magnetic fields. Thus, a generated arc can move in the direction of the electromagnetic force so as to be stably extinguished. As a result, various members positioned in the center of the direct current relay are prevented from being damaged by the arc.

Arc path forming unit and direct current relay comprising same

Disclosed are a direct current relay and a manufacturing method therefor. A movable contact part provided in a direct current relay comprises a movable contact and a lower yoke positioned below the movable contact configured to attenuate an electromagnetic repulsive force generated by contact between the movable contact and a fixed contact. The movable contact is provided with a coupling protrusion portion that protrudes downward. The lower yoke is provided with a movable contact coupling portion into which the coupling protrusion portion is inserted. The coupling protrusion portion can receive pressure directed radially outward after being inserted into the movable contact coupling portion. The coupling protrusion portion is expanded radially outward by the pressure. Accordingly, the outer circumferential surface of the coupling protrusion portion can be inserted into and coupled to the inner circumferential surface of the lower yoke that forms the movable contact coupling portion.

Direct current relay and manufacturing method therefor

A direct current relay is disclosed comprising a pin member and a support member. The support member allows a housing for receiving a movable contactor and an upper yoke for attenuating electromagnetic repulsive power to be coupled to each other. The pin member passes through and is coupled to the support member and the movable contactor to prevent the movable contactor from being unintendedly separated. The support member passes through and is coupled to the housing and the upper yoke, and then extends toward the radial outside by receiving applied pressure which faces the radial outside. The pin member passes through and is coupled to the support member, and then extends toward the radial outside when the pressure is released. Therefore, a separate fastening member for coupling the pin member and the support member to the housing, the upper yoke, the movable contactor, and the like is not required.

Direct current relay

A direct current relay is disclosed. A movable contact part provided on a direct current relay, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises a movable contact and a pin member that is through-coupled to the movable contact. The movable contact can be supported by the pin member and simultaneously move on a straight line along the pin member. Therefore, even when a physical force is applied to the movable contact, the movable contact does not arbitrarily separate therefrom. The pin member is coupled to a support member insertion-coupled to a housing and an upper yoke. The pin member is formed to have a diameter larger than that of a hollow formed in the support member. The pin member can be insertion-coupled to the support member. Therefore, arbitrary separation of the movable contact can be prevented even without a separate fastening member.

An arc path formation unit and a direct current relay are disclosed. The arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of magnet parts. Each magnet part is arranged adjacent to a plurality of fixed contacts. Opposing surfaces of the plurality of magnet parts located adjacent to one fixed contact and facing each other, the opposing surfaces facing each other, and opposing surfaces of the magnet parts located adjacent to another fixed contact, the opposing surfaces facing each other, are configured to have the same polarity. Accordingly, electromagnetic forces formed in the fixed contacts are formed in a direction away from each other and away from a central portion. Accordingly, damage to each configuration of the arc path formation unit and the direct current relay caused by a generated arc can be minimized.

Arc path formation unit and direct current relay including same

An arc path forming part and a direct-current relay are disclosed. An arc path forming part according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a magnet frame extending in the length direction; and a plurality of main magnet portions placed in the length direction. The respective opposing surfaces of the main magnet portions facing each another have the same polarity. Therefore, magnetic fields in the direction of pushing away from each other are generated in a space between the respective main magnet portions. Due to the magnetic fields, an electromagnetic force in the direction toward the outside of the arc path forming part is formed. Accordingly, the generated arc is moved in the direction of the electromagnetic force and can be stably extinguished. Therefore, various members positioned in the central part of the direct-current relay are prevented from damages caused by the arc.

Arc path forming part and direct-current relay comprising same

An arc path forming unit and a direct current relay including same are illustrated. The arc path forming unit according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises multiple magnets. Each of the magnets is configured to form a magnetic field at a point where each stationary contact is located. Each of the magnets located adjacent to each stationary contact is configured such that the opposite surfaces thereof have different polarities. A current flowing through a stationary contact and a movable contact and a magnetic field formed by each of the magnets generate an electromagnetic force. The electromagnetic force travels in a direction away from the center of the direct current relay. Therefore, a generated arc travels in the direction of the electromagnetic force and is thus moved in a direction away from the center of the direct current relay. Accordingly, the direct current relay can be prevented from being damaged.

ARC path forming unit and direct current relay including same

Disclosed are an arc path forming unit and a direct current relay comprising same. The arc path forming unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a single magnet unit disposed on one side of a magnet frame, and a plurality of magnet units disposed on another side opposite to the one side. The plurality of magnet units are sequentially arranged in the longitudinal direction. One side of a magnet unit positioned between at least two of the plurality of magnet units and facing the single magnet unit is magnetized with the same polarity as that of one side of the single magnet unit facing the magnet unit. As such, magnetic fields in the direction of exerting repulsive forces on each other are formed in the central portion of the direct current relay. Accordingly, since the arc does not move to the central portion, damage to components disposed in the central portion can be prevented.

The present disclosure relates to a direct current relay having a mover assembly having improved contact pressure. In one embodiment, a direct current relay comprises a pair of fixed contactors and a movable contactor which is moved up and down by an actuator to come into contact with or be separated from the pair of fixed contactors, comprises: a mover support disposed below the movable contactor and connected to the actuator by a shaft; a mover holder disposed above the movable contactor and fixed to the mover support; an upper yoke and a lower yoke disposed above and below the movable contactor to generate an electromagnetic force, respectively; and a contact pressure spring disposed between the lower yoke and the mover support, wherein the upper yoke and the lower yoke form a magnetic path to offset an electron repulsive force generated between the fixed contactors and the movable contactor.

Disclosed are an arc path formation unit and a direct current relay including same. An arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of magnet parts. One of the plurality of magnet parts is disposed on one surface of a magnet frame. The remaining magnet parts among the plurality of magnet parts are disposed on the other respective surfaces of the magnet frame. The magnet part disposed on the one surface is formed longer than the other magnet parts. Also, the magnet parts disposed on the other surface are spaced apart from each other as far as possible. Accordingly, the magnetic field formed between the magnet parts is formed such that the electromagnetic force generated in each of stationary contacts is generated in a direction away from the central region. As a result, damage to components disposed in the central region can be prevented.

The present disclosure relates to a direct current relay and, more particularly, to a direct current relay including a mover assembly having improved support force with respect to a movable contactor. The direct current relay according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a pair of fixed contactors and a movable contactor which is moved up and down by an actuator to come into contact with or be separated from the pair of fixed contactors, comprises a mover support disposed below the movable contactor and connected to the actuator by a shaft; a mover holder disposed above the movable contactor and fixed to the mover support; a contact pressure spring disposed between the movable contactor and the mover support to provide a contact pressure to the movable contactor; and a supporting pin installed to extend through the movable contactor and the mover holder.

Disclosed are an arc path formation unit and a direct current relay including same. An arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of magnet parts. The magnet parts, positioned adjacent to respective stationary contacts, are configured such that surfaces facing each other have different polarities. Also, some of the plurality of magnet parts are disposed at an incline relative to other magnet parts. Thus, magnetic field is formed by the plurality of magnet parts to obliquely pass by each of the stationary contacts. The electromagnetic force generated by the magnetic field is imparted in a direction away from the central region of a direct current relay. Accordingly, the generated arc moves in a direction away from the central region of the direct current relay, and thus damage to the direct current relay can be prevented.

Shown are an arc path formation unit and a direct current relay including same. The arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plurality of magnet parts. The magnet parts form a magnetic field at the point at which each fixed contact is positioned. Each magnet part positioned adjacent to each fixed contact is formed so that opposite surfaces thereof facing each other have different polarities. An electric current flowing through the fixed contact and a movable contact, and the magnetic field generated by each magnet part form an electromagnetic force. The electromagnetic force moves away from the center of the direct current relay. Therefore, the generated arc moves in the direction of the electromagnetic force so as to move away from the center of the direct current relay. Thus, damage to the direct current relay can be prevented.

Disclosed are an arc path forming unit and a direct current relay comprising same. The arc path forming unit, according to one embodiment of the disclosure, comprises a plurality of magnet units disposed adjacent to each of fixed contacts. At least one of the plurality of magnet units disposed adjacent to each fixed contact is configured so that the side thereof facing the rest of the magnet units has a different polarity. Accordingly, an arc path is formed from each fixed contact in different directions from each other. Further, the arc path is formed so as to move away from the center part of the arc path forming unit. Accordingly, damage to components disposed in the center part may be prevented.
