The present invention is aimed at providing: a non-aqueous electrolyte solution for a sodium ion secondary battery, with which a sodium ion secondary battery having a low resistance and showing a limited amount of gas generation after a durability test can be provided; and a sodium ion secondary battery obtained by using the same. The non-aqueous electrolyte solution for a sodium ion secondary battery comprises: a non-aqueous solvent; NaPF; and a compound represented by the following Formula (1) (wherein, Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and n represents 0 or 1), and a ratio of the content of the compound represented by Formula (1) with respect to the content of NaPF, [compound represented by Formula (1)]/[NaPF] (molar ratio), is 0.001 to 1.5:

Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, including a positive electrode with a positive electrode active material capable of absorbing and releasing a metal ion; a negative electrode with a negative electrode active material capable of absorbing and releasing a metal ion; and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution; wherein the positive electrode active material includes a lithium transition metal compound, and the positive electrode active material includes at least Ni, Mn and Co, wherein the molar ratio of Mn/(Ni+Mn+Co) is larger than 0 and not larger than 0.28, the molar ratio of Ni/(Ni+Mn+Co) is 0.45 or more, the plate density of the positive electrode is 3.3 g/cmor more; and the nonaqueous electrolyte solution includes a monofluorophosphate and/or a difluorophosphate. A total content of the monofluorophosphate and/or difluorophosphate is 0.01% by mass or more in terms of the concentration in the nonaqueous electrolyte solution.

Nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery

Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, including a positive electrode with a positive electrode active material capable of absorbing and releasing a metal ion; a negative electrode with a negative electrode active material capable of absorbing and releasing a metal ion; and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution; wherein the positive electrode active material includes a lithium transition metal compound, and the positive electrode active material includes at least Ni, Mn and Co, wherein the molar ratio of Mn/(Ni+Mn+Co) is larger than 0 and not larger than 0.32, the molar ratio of Ni/(Ni+Mn+Co) is 0.55 or more, the plate density of the positive electrode is 3.0 g/cmor more; and the nonaqueous electrolyte solution includes a monofluorophosphate and/or a difluorophosphate. A total content of the monofluorophosphate and/or difluorophosphate is 0.01% by mass or more in terms of the concentration in the nonaqueous electrolyte solution.
