A foldable display device includes a display panel, a first set housing and a second set housing disposed to face each other in a first direction and respectively supporting two different portions of the display panel, and a hinge assembly disposed between the first set housing and the second set housings and for folding and unfolding the first set housing and the second set housing.

Foldable display device

A foldable display apparatus includes: a display panel; first and second set housings arranged in a first direction and supporting the display panel; and a hinge assembly disposed between and connected to the first and second set housings. The hinge assembly is configured to: rotate the first and second set housings inward to in-fold the display panel so that the display panel is disposed between the first set housing and the second set housing; rotate the first and second set housings outward to out-fold the display panel so that the first set housing and the second set housing are disposed between the out-folded display panel; and position the first and second set housings flat to unfold the display panel so that the display panel is flat on the first set housing, the second set housing, and the hinge assembly.

Foldable display apparatus

An A/V (Audio/Video) receiving device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise: a display; a RF receiving module configured to receive a Radio Frequency (RF) packet from an A/V transmitting device; and a microcomputer configured to: when an abnormality occurs in an original RF signal included in the received RF packet, obtain a backup signal included in the RF packet and having the same identifier as the original RF signal, restore the obtained backup signal, and output the backup signal to the display.

A/V reception device and wireless display system

In a foldable display device, stretchability is given to an outermost area of the folding area of the first support substrate to which a relatively high stress is applied. Thus, the folding radius at the outermost area increases, which relatively reduces the stress at the outermost area. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress occurrence of cracks in the outermost area.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a foldable housing and a flexible display. The foldable housing may provide a front surface of the electronic device and a rear surface of the electronic device. The flexible display may be located in an inner space of the foldable housing. The flexible display may be combined with a front cover of the foldable housing providing the front surface. The front cover may include a pattern in which a plurality of openings corresponding to a folding portion of the foldable housing or a plurality of recesses provided in a surface facing the flexible display are periodically provided. A plurality of sub-pixels emitting light of a same wavelength in the flexible display may be arranged in a same direction as a direction in which the plurality of openings or the plurality of recesses are periodically arranged.

Electronic device including flexible display

The present invention relates to an image display device and an operation method therefor. An image display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a housing, a roller disposed inside the housing, and a plurality of pixels. The image display device includes: a display panel that can be wound on or unwound from the roller; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the roller so that the display panel rolls up or rolls down. The control unit can check the temperature of the display panel, and apply a main signal to at least one of the plurality of pixels according to the temperature of the display panel when the temperature of the display panel is less than a reference temperature, and control the operation of the roller when the temperature of the display panel is the reference temperature or higher. Various other embodiments are also possible.

Image display device and operation method thereof

A rollable display device is disclosed. The rollable display device includes a display panel, a driving unit including a motion converting unit configured to linearly move in a width direction of the display panel in conjunction with a rotational motion of a motor, a lifting unit connected to one end of the display panel and the motion converting unit, and configured to move up and down the display panel in a longitudinal direction of the display panel in conjunction with a linear motion of the motion converting unit, and a panel roller unit connected to other end of the display panel, and configured to roll and unroll the display panel along a periphery of the panel roller unit in conjunction with moving up and down of the display panel.

Rollable display device

A rollable display comprises a flexible display panel; at least one BRC member having one end coupled with an edge of the flexible display panel; a roller assembly having a roller coupled with another end of the BRC member and a motor for rotating the roller, the roller assembly being ascended while rolling the BRC member onto the roller when the motor is rotated in a first direction, and being descending while unrolling the BRC member from the roller when the motor is rotated in a second direction opposite to the first direction; and a panel guide part connected to the roller assembly and moved along with the roller assembly; wherein the flexible display panel is rolled onto the panel guide part when the roller assembly and the panel guide part ascend, and is unrolled from the panel guide part when the roller assembly and the panel guide part descend.

Rollable display

A rollable display includes a flexible display panel that can be rolled up and down, a back cover that rolls up and down along with the flexible display panel, with one edge fixed to one edge of the flexible display panel, and a flexible magnet fixed to either the flexible display panel or the back cover and interposed between the flexible display panel and the back cover.

The present invention is a display device comprising: a housing providing an inner space; a plate in the housing, the plate dividing the inner space into a front space and a rear space and including an opening communicating the front space with the rear space; a display module in the front space, the display module mounted on the plate and covering the opening; and an inlet and an outlet formed at the housing, the inlet and the outlet communicating the rear space with an outside of the housing.

There is disclosed a display device comprising a front case, a display panel spaced apart from the front case to define a first space therebetween, a backlight unit coupled to a rear surface of the display panel, a middle frame spaced apart from a rear surface of the backlight unit to define a second space therebetween, a rear case spaced apart from a rear surface of the middle frame to define a third space therebetween, wherein the rear case is coupled to the front case to enclose the first space, the second space, and the third space such that air is not permitted to flow between the first, second, and third spaces and an exterior of the display device, a closed cooling unit disposed such that air is permitted to flow between the closed cooling unit and the first, second, and third spaces, a closed heat exchange unit disposed at the rear case and configured such that air is permitted to flow between the closed heat exchange unit and the first, second, and third spaces via the closed cooling unit, an open heat exchange unit disposed at the rear case and configured such that air is permitted to flow between the open heat exchange unit and the exterior of the display device, wherein the open heat exchange unit is further configured to exchange heat with the closed heat exchange unit and an open cooling unit configured to exhaust air from the open heat exchange unit to the exterior of the display device.
