Proposed is a refrigerator having a shelf assembly in which the shelf assembly includes a shelf installed inside a cabinet defining a storage space of the refrigerator and allowing food and a container to be seated thereon, a shelf fixing bracket fixed to each of opposite sides of the shelf and supporting the shelf, a lift rail module installed to be vertically long inside the cabinet such that the shelf fixing bracket is vertically movable, and a lift module installed slidably on one side of the shelf and configured to selectively release the shelf fixing bracket held by the lift rail module according to a user's manipulation.

The refrigerator comprises: a cabinet having a storage space; a door over the storage space; support members; a storage member pushed in or drawn out along the support member, and having an opening in the top surface so that food maybe inserted therethrough; a shielding member, provided above the storage member and a rear portion of the opening; a cover member over a front portion of the opening, and is moved, when the storage member being pushed in or drawn out, in the opposite direction to the storage member, and is moved rearward between the shielding member and the storage member when the storage member is drawn out; and a driving unit connecting the storage member and the cover member so as to move together.

A refrigerator has a storage member which can be drawn out from a space in which a refrigerated object is stored. A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a storage chamber, a first drawer slidably mounted within the storage chamber, the first drawer having a locking portion at an upper side of the first drawer and a recessed guide rail portion that is adjacent the locking portion and extended along a withdrawal direction of the first drawer, a second drawer slidably mounted within the storage chamber, a stopper provided at the second drawer, the stopper being configured to, based on the first drawer being withdrawn from the storage chamber, become locked to the locking portion, and the stopper being configured to, based on the first drawing being inserted into the storage chamber, be slidably accommodated in the guide rail portion such that the first and second drawers are independently movable relative to each other.
