An oven includes a housing that defines a cavity therein, a radio wave generator coupled to the housing and configured to generate a radio wave to be transmitted to the cavity, a control unit electrically connected to the radio wave generator and configured to determine radio wave information related to an intensity, a phase, and a frequency of the radio wave to be generated by the radio wave generator, and a plurality of antennas electrically connected to the radio wave generator and configured to allow the radio wave to be radiated into the cavity. The plurality of antennas are spaced apart from one another, and the control unit is configured to determine the radio wave information for each of the plurality of antennas.

Oven including plural antennas and method for controlling the same

A transfer connector for a cooking appliance includes a body that extends in a first direction and defines a hollow portion therein, a base that is coupled to the body and defines a communication hole in communication with the hollow portion, an electric connection part electrically connected to an external power source and extended in the first direction and penetrating through the hollow portion and the communication hole, and a dielectric material disposed in the hollow portion between an inner circumferential surface of the body and an outer circumferential surface of the electric connection part. The inner circumferential surface of the body surrounds the dielectric material, and the dielectric material surrounds the outer circumferential surface of the electric connection part.

Transfer connector with improved operational reliability

An oven includes a housing that defines a cooking space and that includes an upper frame defining an upper wall facing the cooking space, a heating unit disposed at the upper frame and configured to transfer heat to the cooking space, an antenna disposed at the upper frame and configured to emit, toward the cooking space, radio waves transmitted from a radio wave generator that is electrically connected to an external power source, and a forming part that protrudes upward from the upper frame and accommodates the antenna therein. The forming part covers the antenna from the cooking space.

An oven includes: a body part defining an inner space that has an opening in one direction, a front plate disposed along a circumference of the opening of the body part and extending in a direction intersecting with the one direction, and a door part configured to contact the front plate to cover the inner space. The door part includes a door plate configured to overlap with the inner space and the front plate in the one direction and providing a protrusion that protrudes from a central portion thereof toward the inner space, a first choke provided in an annular shape along a circumference of the protrusion, and a second choke disposed outside the first choke, provided in an annular shape along a circumference of the first choke, and configured to overlap with the front plate in the one direction.

The present disclosure comprises a housing that defines a cavity therein, a door connected to the housing and configured to open and close the cavity, a microwave (MW) heating module configured to emit microwaves into the cavity, and an induction heating (IH) module configured to emit a magnetic field toward the cavity, the IH module comprises a shielding member through which the magnetic field generated by a working coil of the IH module passes and which blocks microwaves emitted from the MW heating module, and the shielding member comprises any one of carbon paper or carbon fabric woven with carbon fiber.

A radio wave radiating device includes: a radio wave supply unit extending in one direction, one end of the radio wave supply unit being connected to a power source, an earth part spaced apart from the radio wave supply unit by a predetermined distance in a direction intersecting with the one direction, extending in the one direction, one end of the earth part being connected to a ground, and a radiating element connected to another end of the radio wave supply unit and another end of the earth part, respectively, and configured to radiate a radio wave received from the radio wave supply unit. The radiating element includes a middle portion connecting the radio wave supply unit and the earth part, a first radiating portion extending in a direction away from the earth part, and a second radiating portion extending in a direction away from the radio wave supply unit.

A cooking appliance includes a frame defining a cooking chamber, a a magnetron for generating microwaves to cook food received in the cooking chamber, a door connected to the frame and configured to open and close the cooking chamber, a gasket disposed at the door and configured to contact a front portion of the frame based on the door closing the cooking chamber, and a leakage prevention part that is disposed at the door and that defines a space portion for preventing leakage of the microwaves. The gasket is coupled to the space portion.

A mobile terminal is provided that includes a main body in which a structure is mounted, an antenna coil formed to be wound along edges of the structure to receive a change in magnetic flux in a vicinity of the main body, an electronic element disposed to be adjacent to the structure, and a ferrite sheet configured to remove noise with respect to reception of the change in the magnetic flux and disposed on one surface of the electronic element such that a distance is formed between the ferrite sheet and the antenna coil.
