An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise: a camera module including an OIS actuator and an image sensor for performing read-out of an image frame acquired through image stabilization by the OIS actuator; at least one motion sensor; and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to: acquire a first read-out image frame through the image sensor; acquire a first vertical synchronization signal (Vsync) corresponding to the first image frame from the image sensor; acquire multiple pieces of motion data of the electronic device through the at least one motion sensor during the read-out of the first image frame; determine (identify) first motion data corresponding to a first time point at which the read-out of the first image frame is completed, on the basis of the first vertical synchronization signal; and perform digital image stabilization (DIS) for the first image frame using the first motion data and at least one piece of second motion data acquired before the first motion data among the multiple pieces of motion data.

Method and electronic device for image stabilization during image capturing using motion data

An electronic device includes a processor causing the electronic device to enter a video capturing mode in which a camera is activated, display a live-preview corresponding to the video capturing mode using images obtained via the camera, while in the video capturing mode, display a user interface including a first graphical object indicative of a first degree of motion stabilization and a second graphical object indicative of a second degree of motion stabilization greater than the first degree, receive an input via the user interface to select one of the first graphical object or the second graphical object, based on the first graphical object being selected, display a live-preview by performing, based on motion information and a first marginal area having a first size, a first stabilization with respect to the obtained images, and based on the second graphical object being selected, display the live-preview by performing, based on the motion information and a second marginal area having a second size larger than the first size, a second stabilization with respect to the obtained images.

Electronic device for stabilizing image and method for operating same

An example camera movement control method includes: activating, by an electronic device, a camera functionally connected to the electronic device; displaying, on the basis of the activation of the camera, an image of an object outside the electronic device on a display functionally connected to the electronic device; confirming the movement of the image of the object; and correcting the image by means of an image stabilizer functionally connected to the electronic device on the basis of the movement. The correcting of the image can include: calculating an image correction angle with respect to the movement; and controlling the image stabilizer based on the image correction angle.

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention, may include a camera, a motion sensor, a memory, and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor may be configured to, by using the camera, acquire a first image frame, a plurality of second image frames successive to the first image frame, and a third image frame immediately before the first image frame, while the camera acquires the third image frame, the first image frame, and the plurality of the second image frames, detect a movement of the electronic device using the motion sensor, determine a first position of the camera corresponding to the first image frame and a plurality of second positions of the camera corresponding to the plurality of the second image frames respectively, based at least in part on the movement of the electronic device, the first image frame, the plurality of the second image frames, and the third image frame, correct the first position, by conducting computations using a weight learned through an artificial neural network, the first position, the plurality of the second positions, and a post-correction position of a third position of the camera corresponding to the third image frame, and correct the first image frame, based at least in part on the corrected first position.

Method for processing image by using artificial neural network, and electronic device supporting same

An electronic device includes a camera; a motion sensor; a memory; and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to acquire motion information of the electronic device from the motion sensor according to executing an image acquisition mode; determine an image stabilization scheme based on at least one part of the motion information; and perform a stabilization operation on at least one image acquired through the camera, based on the determined image stabilization scheme. The image stabilization scheme may include a first stabilization scheme for correcting shaking of the at least one image based on a first margin region; and a second stabilization scheme for correcting shaking of the at least one image based on a second margin region larger than the first margin region.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a camera module, a memory, a gyro sensor, and a processor. The housing may include a front plate, a rear plate, and a lateral member surrounding a space between the front plate and the rear plate. The camera module may include a first camera disposed in the space and performing shooting based on a first direction, a second camera disposed in the space and performing shooting based on a second direction, and an image signal processor for correcting images. The processor may be configured to control at least one of the first camera or the second camera to capture images, to identify a camera switching command while capturing the images, to acquire gyro motion information through the gyro sensor in response to the camera switching command, and to control the image signal processor to correct the captured images.
