A laundry treating apparatus includes a first nozzle water supply conduit which is disposed, on the gasket, in the one side with respect to the vertical line and guides water discharged through the first circulation port to the pair of first nozzles; and a second nozzle water supply conduit which is disposed, on the gasket, in the other side with respect to the vertical line and guides water discharged through the second circulation port to the pair of second nozzles.

A washing machine is configured to rotate a cylindrical drum formed by processing a metal sheet about a horizontal axis. The drum includes a lifter, formed by processing the metal sheet, respectively provided at a plurality of points spaced along a circumferential direction, when viewed from a front side. The lifter includes a front lifter which is formed by protruding the metal sheet into the drum, and pressurized to be extended in a longitudinal direction of the drum, and a rear lifter disposed in a rear side of the front lifter. The rear lifter is disposed to form a certain phase angle with respect to the front lifter.

A laundry drying machine includes a cabinet, a drum that is rotatably disposed inside the cabinet and that defines an inner space configured to accommodate a subject to be dried, a driver configured to rotate the drum, a duct configured to supply air to the drum and to discharge the air from the drum, and an electrode part configured to form an electric field in the inner space of the drum to thereby heat the subject. The electrode part includes a probe configured to radiate an electromagnetic wave defining the electric field, where at least a portion of the probe is disposed in the inner space of the drum.

A laundry drying machine includes: a cabinet, a drum disposed inside the cabinet and configured to accommodate a target object, a driving unit configured to rotate the drum, and an electric field generator spaced apart from the drum and configured to generate an electric field inside the drum. The drum includes: a drum body having a cylindrical shape and accommodating the target object, a ground electrode that is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the drum body, and a support roller that is in contact with the outer circumferential surface and that is configured to, based on the drum body rotating, support the drum body in a direction of the ground electrode, and a shortest distance between a central axis of the support roller and the ground electrode is less than a sum of a diameter of the drum body and a radius of the support roller.

A washing machine includes a casing, a tub, a drum, a pump for sending water discharged from the tub, a gasket connecting an input port of the casing to an opening of the tub and having nozzles for spraying water into the drum, and a nozzle water supply pipe configured to guide water introduced through the opening into a first sub-flow and a second sub-flow. The nozzle water pipe includes first nozzle water supply ports, formed on a first flow path to which the first sub-flow is guided, for supplying the first sub-flow to any two or more nozzles among the plurality of nozzles, and second nozzle water supply ports, formed on a second flow path to which the second sub-flow is guided, for supplying the second sub-flow to other two or more nozzles among the plurality of nozzles.

A washing machine includes: a casing, a tub, a drum, a cylindrical gasket connecting an input port of the casing to an opening of the tub, a pump configured to circulate water discharged from the tub; a guide pipe fixed to the gasket configured to guide water supplied from the pump, and nozzles configured to spray water from the guide pipe into the drum. The nozzles include an upper nozzle configured to spray water downward, intermediate nozzles disposed below the upper nozzle in both left and right sides and configured to spray water downward while spraying water deeper into the drum than the upper nozzle, and lower nozzles disposed above the inflow port, disposed below the intermediate nozzles in both left and right sides based on the inflow port and configured to spray water upward.

A method controls a washing machine including a drum rotatably provided in a tub that receives water, at least one nozzle spraying water into the drum, a washing motor rotating the drum, and a circulation pump circulating water within the washing machine. The method includes: controlling a rotation of the drum by operating the washing motor to rotate the drum at a first rotation speed in a first rotation direction, and to maintain a rotation of the drum at the first rotation speed in the first rotation direction so that laundry in the drum maintains contact with an inner circumferential surface of the drum; and controlling a pump speed of the circulation pump by operating a circulation pump motor in the circulation pump to accelerate and decelerate at least once while the washing motor rotates the drum at the first rotation speed in the first rotation direction.

A laundry drying machine includes: a cabinet, a drum rotatably disposed in the cabinet and configured to accommodate a target object, and an electric field generator spaced apart from the drum and configured to, based on power being applied to the electric field generator, generate an electric field. The electric field generator includes an anode electrode spaced apart from the drum, fixed to the cabinet, and configured to apply the electric field to the target object, a power supply unit configured to supply the power to the anode electrode, and a matcher configured to match a source impedance of the power and an impedance of a load side. The drum is configured to rotate at an agitating rotation speed in a state in which the power supplied to the anode electrode is stopped, the agitating rotation speed being (i) greater than 0 rpm and (ii) less than 50 rpm.
