Disclosed are a movable contact part and a direct current relay including same. The movable contact part comprises an upper yoke. The upper yoke generates a magnetic force that attenuates the electromagnetic repulsive force generated between a movable contact and a fixed contact. The upper yoke includes a cover part covering the movable contact from above and an arm part connected to the cover part and covering the movable contact from both sides. The arm part is thinner than the cover part. A curved portion of the arm part is shorter than the cover part and an extension portion. Thus, even though the total weight of the upper yoke is reduced, the area of the upper yoke is increased, and the thickness and length of a support part can be maintained. Consequently, the intensity of the magnetic force of the upper yoke can be enhanced.

An arc path formation unit and a direct current relay including same are disclosed. The arc path formation unit according to various embodiments of the present disclosure comprises a Halbach array and a magnet unit, which form a magnetic field in a space part in which fixed contacts are accommodated. The formed magnetic field forms an electromagnetic force together with the current applied to the direct current relay. The formed electromagnetic force can induce generated arcs here, the electromagnetic force formed in proximity to the respective fixed contacts is formed in the direction of moving away from the respective fixed contacts. Therefore, the generated arcs do not meet each other, and thus can be effectively extinguished and discharged.

Arc path formation unit and direct current relay including same

Disclosed are an arc path forming part and a direct current relay including the same. An arc path forming part according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of magnet parts. Each magnet part is located on one side and the other side of the arc path forming part, respectively, to form a magnetic field inside an arc chamber. The arc generated inside the arc chamber is extended in a direction away from the center of the arc chamber by receiving electromagnetic force from the magnetic field. Thus, damage to each component located at the center can be prevented.

An arc path generation unit according to various exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure comprises a Halbach array and a magnet part which form a magnetic field in a space part formed in the arc path generation unit. The magnetic field formed by the Halbach array and the magnet part forms an electromagnetic force, together with the current applied to each of fixed contacts. The electromagnetic force formed near each fixed contact is formed in a direction going away from the center of the space part, or in a direction going away from each fixed contact. Therefore, generated arcs can be rapidly suppressed and discharged through induction by the electromagnetic force.

An arc path formation unit and a direct current relay comprising same are disclosed. An arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of magnet parts. The plurality of magnet parts can form a magnetic field in a space inside an arc chamber to form an electromagnetic force for moving generated arc. The magnetic field formed by each magnet part forms an electromagnetic force toward the outside of the arc chamber. Electromagnetic forces formed adjacently to fixed contacts are formed in opposite directions. Therefore, the generated arc can be quickly moved to the outside and extinguished without damage to each constituent element of a direct current relay caused by the generated arc.

An arc path-forming part and a DC relay comprising same are disclosed. The arc path-forming part according to various embodiments of the present disclosure comprises a Halbach array and a magnet part that form a magnetic field in a space formed therein. The magnetic field formed by the Halbach array is stronger in the direction toward the space. The magnetic field formed by the Halbach array and the magnet part forms an electromagnetic force together with the current applied to each fixed contactor. Here, the electromagnetic force formed in the vicinity of each fixed contactor is formed in a direction away from the center of the space or in a direction away from each fixed contactor. Accordingly, a generated arc can be quickly extinguished and discharged by being induced by the electromagnetic force.

Arc path-forming part and direct current relay comprising same

An arc path formation unit and a direct current relay are disclosed. The arc path formation unit, according to various embodiments of the present disclosure, includes a Halbach array provided in at least one of the forward and backward directions. The Halbach array forms a magnetic field within an arc chamber by itself or along with another magnetic body. An electromagnetic force may be generated for inducing an arc that is generated by a formed magnetic field and current flowing through the direct current relay. The electromagnetic force is generated in a direction away from each fixed contact. Accordingly, the generated arc can be extinguished and discharged effectively.
