A repeated transmission method performed by a first communication node may comprise: repeatedly concatenating data to be transmitted to a second communication node by a preset first repetition number; performing channel coding on the concatenated data; generating first data having a resource unit size based on the channel-coded data; repeatedly outputting the first data by a preset second repetition number; and transmitting wireless signals generated according to the repeated output of the first data to the second communication node, wherein the first repetition number and the second repetition number are natural numbers.

Method and apparatus for repetitive signal transmission in wireless communication system

Provided is a method for transmitting paging information in a cellular system. An object of the method is transmitting paging information which can improve applicability of a limited radio resource by variably and flexibly setting up and mapping a transport channel and a physical channel in order to transmit information notifying start of downlink information from a base station to a terminal in a cellular system for packet transmission. The method includes the steps of: forming a paging channel (PCH) in a transport channel corresponding to generation of paging information; setting a paging indication channel (PICH) based on the paging information and forming the paging indication channel in a radio resource of a physical layer; and allocating the paging channel to the radio resource of the physical layer.

Method for paging information in cellular system

A method for converting source data to a channel-modulated signal having a plurality of pairs of in-phase (I) and quadrature-phase (Q) data in a mobile station, wherein the mobile station uses at least one channel, includes the steps of: a) encoding the source data to generate at least one data part and a control part; b) generating at least one spreading code to be allocated to the channel, wherein each spreading code is selected on the basis of a data rate of the data part and the control part and spreading codes are selected so that two consecutive pairs of the I and Q data are correspondent to two points located on same point or symmetrical with respect to a zero point on a phase domain; and c) spreading the control part and the data part by using the spreading code, to thereby generate the channel-modulated signal.

An orthogonal complex spreading method for a multichannel and an apparatus thereof are disclosed. The method includes the steps of complex-summing &#x3b1;WXwhich is obtained by multiplying an orthogonal Hadamard sequence Wby a first data Xof a n-th block and &#x3b1;WXwhich is obtained by multiplying an orthogonal Hadamard sequence Wby a second data Xof a n-th block; complex-multiplying &#x3b1;WX+j&#x3b1;WXwhich is summed in the complex type and W+jPWof the complex type using a complex multiplier and outputting as an in-phase information and quadrature phase information; and summing only in-phase information outputted from a plurality of blocks and only quadrature phase information outputted therefrom and spreading the same using a spreading code.

Orthogonal complex spreading method for multichannel and apparatus thereof

A channel encoding/decoding method and a multiple-antenna wireless communication transmitting/receiving system performing the same are disclosed. A transmitter of the multiple-antenna wireless communication system comprises a space-time encoder, interleavers, a P/S converter, a RSC encoder, a S/P converter, and a modulator. A receiver of the multiple-antenna wireless communication system comprises a RSC decoder, deinterleavers, a space-time decoder, and interleavers. The frame error rates from the information transmission and reception by the present invention are found to be significantly lower than those by the multiple encoding/separated decoding method. Compared with the multiple encoding/joint decoding method, the present invention maintains comparable or better performance, while simplifying the decoding procedure considerably thereby it reduces the complexity in the hardware implementation.
