A method for analyzing the content of boron in a cathode active material is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a method comprises (S1) introducing boron into a cathode active material to prepare a cathode active material sample, (S2) separating a first liquid layer and a first precipitate by dissolving the sample in water, treating the first liquid layer with acid to form a first resulting solution, and measuring the boron concentration in the first resulting solution by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES), (S3) separating a second liquid layer and a second precipitate by dissolving the first precipitate in water, treating the second liquid layer with acid to form a second resulting solution, and measuring the boron concentration of the second resulting solution by ICP-OES, and (S4) measuring the boron concentration of a third resulting solution, obtained by adding acid and hydrogen peroxide to the second precipitate, by ICP-OES.

Gas collection device

The present invention relates to a gas collection device and is directed to a gas collection device for collecting a gas which is generated while microorganisms are cultured in a super absorbent polymer product. The gas collection device may comprise a constant temperature chamber having an interior that is configured to be maintained at a set temperature; a culture flask unit located inside the constant temperature chamber and configured to culture a bacteria therein; an adsorption unit located outside the constant temperature chamber and configured to receive a gas inside the culture flask unit; a pump unit connected to a rear end of the adsorption unit and configured to suck the gas inside the culture flask unit into the adsorption unit; and a mass flow controller located outside the constant temperature chamber and configured to control a flow rate of the gas sucked into the adsorption unit.

The hydrophilic adjuvant comprises: a composite metal oxide containing Si and at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Ti(IV), Zr(IV), Sn(IV) and Al(III); and a hydrophilic group-containing organic compound physically or chemically bonded with the Ti(IV), Zr(IV), Sn(IV) or Al of the composite metal oxide.
