A display device includes: a substrate having a display area and a non-display area; and a pixel in each of a pixel area in the display area. Each of the pixels includes: an insulating layer on the substrate and having an opening; first and second electrodes on the insulating layer and spaced apart from each other; a plurality of light emitting elements in the opening; a first contact electrode electrically connecting one end of the light emitting elements and the first electrode to each other; a second contact electrode electrically connecting another end of the light emitting elements and the second electrode to each other; a first insulating pattern on the first contact electrode; and a second insulating pattern on the second contact electrode. The first insulating pattern and the second insulating pattern are on the same layer and spaced apart from each other.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A pixel includes a first electrode and a second electrode facing each other, an insulating layer on the first and second electrodes, a plurality of light-emitting elements located on the insulating layer between the first electrode and the second electrode, a first contact electrode electrically connected to the first electrode, and a second contact electrode electrically connected to the second electrode. Here, a first gap having a constant width in a first direction and a second gap having a width in the first direction that gradually changes along a second direction are located between the first electrode and the second electrode or between the first contact electrode and the second contact electrode.

A display device includes a first substrate, a wire pad in a pad area, first banks in a display area, electrodes on the first banks, a pad electrode base layer on the wire pad, having a greater width than the wire pad, and covering sides of the wire pad, a first insulating layer covering parts of the electrodes and part of the pad electrode base layer, light-emitting elements on the first insulating layer in the display area, respective ends of the light-emitting elements being on different electrodes, contact electrodes on the electrodes and contacting first ends of the light-emitting elements, and a pad electrode upper layer on the first insulating layer in the pad area and directly contacting the pad electrode base layer, wherein the pad electrode base layer includes the same material as the electrodes, and the pad electrode upper layer includes the same material as the contact electrodes.

A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A display device includes: a substrate; a first electrode and a second electrode on the substrate, the first electrode and the second electrode being arranged on a same layer to be spaced apart from each other; a first insulating layer on the first electrode and the second electrode; and a light emitting element on the first insulating layer. The first insulating layer includes a groove concave toward the substrate, and the light emitting element is in the groove.

Display device and method of manufacturing thereof

A display device includes a first base substrate including a light-emitting area and a non-light-emitting area around the light-emitting area, a wavelength conversion pattern on the first base substrate in the light-emitting area, and a light-emitting element layer on the wavelength conversion pattern. Optical modulation device including liquid crystals, driving method thereof, and optical display device using the same

A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal lens includes: patterning an insulating layer into a plurality of insulating regions spaced apart from each other on a substrate using a first photo mask; depositing a conductive layer on the insulating layer; applying a first, negative photoresist onto the conductive layer; exposing the first photoresist using a second photo mask in which first regions of the first photoresist corresponding to portions between adjacent insulating regions are opened; exposing the first photoresist using a third photo mask in which second regions corresponding to tops of the plurality of insulating regions are opened; and etching the conductive layer using the first photoresist.

Method for manufacturing liquid crystal lens

A display device may include a display panel configured to display an image. The display device may further include a first electrode overlapping the display panel and separated from the display panel. The display device may further include a second electrode overlapping the first electrode and separated from the display panel. A number Nof pixels at a unit view region satisfies N=2(3n+1)+1, a number Nof viewpoint dividing units satisfies N=3n+1, and a number Nof viewpoints satisfies N=2(3n+1)+1 when a width ratio of the pixels in a row direction and the light blockers in the row direction is 3n:1. The Npixels are located to correspond to the Nviewpoint dividing units.

Three-dimensional image display device

A display device includes a display panel and a polarization conversion panel facing the display panel. The polarization conversion panel includes: an insulation substrate; an absorptive polarizer positioned on the insulation substrate; a first electrode positioned on the absorptive polarizer; a passivation layer formed on the first electrode while being spaced apart therefrom a microcavity interposed between the passivation layer and the first electrode, the passivation layer an injection hole; an overcoat formed on the passivation layer to cover the injection hole and seal the microcavity; a second electrode positioned on the overcoat; a reflective polarizer positioned on the second electrode; and a liquid crystal layer positioned in the microcavity.
