A rotation direction switching device of a pneumatic tool includes a valve sleeve, an intake valve and a control member disposed in a tool body. Under a condition that a pivot connecting portion of the control member is pivotally connected to a pivot shaft of the tool body and each driving portion of the control member can drive a driven portion of the intake valve, the control member can drive the intake valve in an arc trajectory to rotate, so that when the control member is in the forward or the reverse rotation control position, the vent of the intake valve is in communication with corresponding one of clockwise and the reverse rotation holes of the valve sleeve, so as to control the pneumatic tool to rotate forward or reversely. Therefore, the assembly cost and production cost can be effectively reduced.

A circular saw includes a worktable, a sliding unit including a mounting base mounted on the worktable and providing an accommodation slot and two sliding shafts axially slidably inserted through the mounting base at two opposite sides of the accommodation slot in a parallel manner, and a cutting unit including a saw arm pivotally connected between the two sliding shafts and providing an accommodation portion and a saw blade pivotally mounted at the saw arm. Thus, when the saw arm is in an upper limit position, the accommodation of the saw arm is partially disposed outside the accommodation slot. When the saw arm is in a lower limit position, the accommodation portion is received in the accommodation slot. Subject to the design described above, the circular saw achieves the effects of reduced overall dimension, low vibration and high cutting accuracy.

An auxiliary support device for circular saw includes a base, a worktable, a support member and a stop member. The base has a supporting portion formed thereon. The worktable is pivotally disposed on the base and is co-planar with the base. The support member is disposed on the supporting portion of the base and is co-planar with the base such that the support member provides support to workpiece of larger size. The base has a mounting hole defined in the supporting portion. The support member has a guiding slot defined therein, a locking member passes through the guiding slot and is secured in the mounting hole for positioning the support member, such that a position of the support member is adjustable relative to the base for adapting to workpieces of various sizes. The stop member is pivotally mounted to one end of the support member adapted for positioning the workpiece.

Auxiliary support device for circular saw

A table insert for a circular saw includes a stationary panel and a movable panel. The stationary panel is fixed on a worktable of the circular saw and partially covers a trough of the worktable, and the movable panel is pivotally connected to the stationary panel and is pivotally movable relative to the stationary panel between a first position and a second position. When the movable panel is located in the first position, the movable panel partially covers the trough to enable the cutting operation to be performed. When the movable panel is located in the second position, the trough is partially uncovered for conveniently allowing a user to remove saw dust from the trough or to take out small workpieces that fall into the trough.

A length adjustable worktable includes a main table, a side extension, a guide unit, and an actuating device. The guide unit is engaged with the side extension for guiding the side extension to slide toward or away from the main table. The actuating device includes an operating member, a driving unit, and a positioning member. By manipulating the operating member, the driving unit and the positioning member are driven, such that the side extension is able to slide toward or away from the main table along the guiding unit, thereby allowing the length of the worktable to be adjusted.

A collapsible stand includes a base frame, a first supporting frame pivotally connected to the base frame, a first supporting unit pivotally connected between the base frame and the first supporting frame, a second supporting frame pivotally connected to the first supporting frame, a second supporting unit pivotally connected between the base frame and the second supporting frame. When operating the base frame, the second supporting frame is able to be extended away from the first supporting frame, and it is easily operating the collapsible stand from a collapsed position to an extended position; or the second supporting frame is able to be received toward the first supporting frame to a collapsed position by lifting up the first supporting frame.

A circular saw includes a machine base, a sliding unit having a slide shaft slidably inserted through the machine base and a stationary mount fixedly mounted at one end of the slide shaft and defining a datum plane, and a cutting unit having a supporting arm pivotally connected to the stationary mount and a saw blade pivotally connected to the supporting arm. The saw blade is movable by the supporting arm up and down relative to the machine base between a lower limit position and an upper limit position so that the saw blade may intersect with the datum plane or be kept in a tangential relationship relative to the datum plane when it reaches the lower limit position. Thus, the circular saw has a compact size, low vibration level and high precision characteristics.

An adjustable riving knife assembly including a riving knife and a saw machine riving knife adjustment mechanism, the adjustment mechanism including a locating member and a locking unit. The locating member defines a track, and the riving knife has a riving knife body and a coupling portion inserted into the track. The locking unit includes an axle holder affixed to the locating member, a brake mounted on the axle holder, an operating member connected to the brake and a locking member to be driven by the brake. Rotation of the operating member causes the brake to move the locking member relative to the riving knife between a locking position, where the locking member engages the riving knife, and an unlocking or adjusting position, where the locking member is disengaged from the riving knife.

An adjustment device for an auxiliary fence includes a support frame, an auxiliary fence, a guiding unit and an adjusting unit. The guiding unit guides the auxiliary fence along a longitudinal direction such that the auxiliary fence is selectively slidable relative to the support frame. The adjusting unit allows the auxiliary fence to be adjusted relative to the support frame and securely positioned. The adjusting unit includes a driving member, a securing member installed on the driving member, and an elastomeric element. When the driving member is operated, the securing member becomes disengaged from the support frame which allows the position of the auxiliary fence to be adjusted by sliding it relative to the support frame.

A rapidly collapsible stand includes a base frame, a pair of pivot members pivotally connected to a first side of the base frame, a first supporting frame connected to the pivot members, a first supporting unit pivotally connected between the base frame and the first supporting frame, a second supporting frame pivotally connected to the first supporting frame and a second supporting unit pivotally connected between the base frame and the second supporting frame. When operating the base frame, the second supporting frame is able to be extended away from the first supporting frame to an extended position by utilizing the linkage of the first supporting unit and the second supporting unit; or the second supporting frame is able to be received toward the first supporting frame to a received position by lifting up a handle portion of the first supporting frame.

A scroll saw includes a base, a worktable mounted to the base, a sliding plate slidably mounted on the worktable and a cutting assembly mounted to the base. A cutting slot is defined between the worktable and the sliding plate for a saw blade of the cutting assembly to pass therethrough. When the sliding plate is moved relative to the worktable to an appropriate position or is removed from the worktable, the saw blade can be changed easily and conveniently.

A mobile tool stand includes a base frame unit, a support unit connected to the base frame unit for supporting the base frame unit on the floor, and a carrier unit. The carrier unit includes a carrier plate for carrying a machine tool, a pair of links pivotally connected between the carrier plate and the base frame unit and movable relative to the carrier plate to move the stand between a collapsed position and a supporting position, and a pair of coupling rods pivotally connected to the carrier plate and slidingly coupled to the base frame unit, such that the coupling rods are movable in and out of the base frame unit. Thus, the tool that is carried on the carrier plate can be safely moved from place to place when the mobile tool stand is set in the collapsed, transporting condition.

A quick release device for a saw blade guard assembly in a circular saw includes a mounting block having two spaced sidewalls, a mounting groove defined between the two sidewalls for receiving a spreader, and two through holes respectively defined through the sidewalls and in communication with the mounting groove and a locating hole. At least one movable engagement member is movably disposed in the through hole of the mounting block. A locking member having two spaced locking blocks mounts onto the mounting block. Each of the locking blocks has a retaining wall portion for engaging the at least one movable engagement member and forcing the at least one movable engagement member to be held in the locating hole of the spreader.

A miter saw includes a base, a rotatable table, a saw arm, a driver, a saw blade, and two supporters. The rotatable table is pivotally mounted to the base and is rotatable relative to the base. The rotatable table includes a support surface configured to receive a workpiece thereon. The saw arm is coupled to the rotatable table and is pivotable downwards towards the support surface. The driver is mounted on the saw arm. The saw blade is mounted on the saw arm and is driven by the driver to cut the workpiece. The two supporters are respectively pivotally mounted to the rotatable table and are configured to support the workpiece thereon while in a supporting position, and to be pivoted to an unobtrusive stowed position when not in use.

A vibration-reducing device is applied to a scroll saw. The scroll saw includes a body, a U-frame, a block and an actuating device. The U-frame is coupled to the body, and the block and a shaft of the actuating device are eccentrically fastened to each other, and the actuating device is mounted to the body. The vibration-reducing device includes a connector and a pivot arm pivotally coupled to the body. The connector includes a third end rotatably connected to the block, and a fourth end rotatably connected to the pivot arm. When the shaft is rotated, the motion of the center of gravity of the pivot arm in a vertical direction is opposite to the motion of the center of gravity of the U-frame.
