An image forming apparatus that executes a screen saver that provides information related with an accessory device connected to the image forming apparatus, and a method of controlling the image forming apparatus that executes a screen saver are provided. The method includes sensing an accessory device connected to the image forming apparatus, requesting execution of a screen saver corresponding to the sensed accessory device, searching for the screen saver corresponding to the sensed accessory device, and executing a found screen saver.

A solid state drive apparatus includes a housing having a first accommodation space and a second accommodation space; a substrate mounted in the first accommodation space, wherein at least one non-volatile memory chip is mounted on the substrate; and a heat dissipation member mounted in the second accommodation space and including an isolation barrier that defines a boundary between the second accommodation space and the first accommodation space and a plurality of fin portions that extend from the isolation barrier away from the first accommodation space, wherein a plurality of through air holes are provided in a side of the housing adjacent the second accommodation space.

A printed circuit board includes a substrate base including first and second inner base layers, a plurality of cover base layers, and a screw hole extending from a top to a bottom surface of the substrate base. At least one first cover base layer is disposed on the first inner base layer. At least one second cover base layer is disposed on the second inner base layer. A heat pipe is disposed along an interface between the first and second inner base layers. A ground conductive layer is disposed on at least one of the top surface and the bottom surface of the substrate base at an edge of the screw hole. A first heat dissipating structure is positioned between the top and bottom surfaces of the substrate base. The first heat dissipating structure is connected to the heat pipe and is in direct contact with the ground conductive layer.

Provided is a hard mask composition for spin-coating, and more particularly, a hard mask composition including a graphene copolymer and a solvent for spin-coating. The hard mask composition according to an exemplary embodiment has an improved etching resistance, and thus, etching with an increased aspect ratio may also be performed on a mask having a smaller thickness.

A secondary memory device includes: a substrate and a housing configured to accommodate at least a part of the substrate. The substrate has upper and lower opposed surfaces and includes a first region in which a first semiconductor device is mounted on the upper surface and a second region in which a second semiconductor device is mounted on the upper surface. The housing includes a first sub-housing covering the upper surface of the substrate at the first region and the first semiconductor device. The first sub-housing does not extend to cover the upper surface of the substrate at the second region.

In a method of detecting inhomogeneity of a layer, an incident light may be irradiated to at least two regions of the layer at a first incident angle position. First reflected lights reflected from the two regions of the layer may be sensed. The incident light may be irradiated to the at least two regions of the layer at a second incident angle position. Second reflected lights reflected from the two regions of the layer may be sensed. The first reflected lights and the second reflected lights may be compared with each other to obtain the inhomogeneity of the layer. Thus, the layer having a spot may be found.

Methods of detecting inhomogeneity of a layer and apparatus for performing the same

Embodiments of the inventive concept include a semiconductor device having a circuit board including a first outer layer, a contact region in the first outer layer, a second layer formed on an opposite side of the first outer layer, a via-hole, and a plurality of inner layers formed to be stacked between the first layer and the second layer. A case may accommodate the circuit board. The case may have a projection portion that is configured to come in contact with the circuit board in the contact region. The plurality of inner layers may include a ground layer. The first outer layer may be connected to the ground layer through a via-hole. The case may be connected to the ground layer through the first outer layer.

Semiconductor device

A memory card system and related write method are disclosed. The method includes receiving a write request for a predetermined page; performing a write operation on a first log block that corresponds to a first data block including the page; receiving an update request for the page; and performing a write operation on a second log block that corresponds to the first data block. The memory card system includes: at least one non-volatile memory including a data block and a log block for updating the data block; and a memory controller controlling an operation of the non-volatile memory. During a write operation for a predetermined page, the controller controls writing of a first log block corresponding to a first data block including the predetermined page, and controls writing of a second log block during an update operation of the predetermined page.

The portable display device is constructed with a liquid crystal display panel; a backlight assembly including light source for supplying light to the liquid crystal display panel, and a mold frame receiving the liquid crystal display panel and the light source as well as surrounding at least two sides of the light source. At least one region of the mold frame surrounding the sides of the light source is formed of at least one aperture.
