A piezoelectric ultrasonic motor includes a piezoelectric stator including a hollow metal tube having a quadrangular cross section and four piezoelectric elements each installed in each outer face of the metal tube; a rotary shaft including a rotation bar inserted into an inner space of the metal tube, an upper rotation member provided around the rotation bar in contact with an upper surface of the piezoelectric stator, the rotation member rotating in response to the strain of the piezoelectric stator, a lower rotation member adapted to restrain the rotation of the rotation bar and contacting a lower surface of the piezoelectric stator and a power transmission member provided at one portion of the rotation bar to transmit the rotation of the rotation member to an object to be transported; and a power supply to apply a supply voltage necessary for the actuation of the piezoelectric stator.

Piezoelectric ultrasonic motor

A piezoelectric ultrasonic motor includes a piezoelectric stator including a metal tube with an inner space and piezoelectric elements mounted on the outer circumference of the metal tube, a rotary shaft including a rotation bar inserted into the inner space of the metal tube, and a rotation member provided around the rotation bar in contact with the piezoelectric stator. The piezoelectric stator strains with an electric field applied thereto, and the rotation member rotates in response to the strain of the piezoelectric stator. A power transmission member is provided at one portion of the rotation bar to transmit the rotation of the rotation member to an object to be transported. With face contact the motor achieves stable actuation together with enhanced force and sufficient strain, and a flexibility to be applied to various apparatuses such as a camera module.

The present invention relates to a lens driving device includes a lens receiving part with a lens disposed therein, having first and second extension parts formed at opposed sides in a predetermined interval from each other. The lens driving device also includes an actuator having a body between the first and second extension parts. The actuator body has first and second output members contacting the first and second extension parts of the lens receiving part at opposed ends thereof, and thereby expands, contracts and bends when power is applied. The lens driving device also includes a preload member compressing the first and second extension parts against the actuator body to maintain a status of pressed contact. The lens driving device further includes a guide part for guiding the movement of the lens receiving part in an optical axis direction.

Lens driving device

A piezoelectric vibrator that generates an elliptical motion using a combination of a longitudinal vibration and a flexural vibration includes a piezoelectric element, three side electrodes, and a power transmission member. The piezoelectric element includes three piezoelectric element layers. The first and second side electrodes electrically connect electrode patterns formed in a diagonal direction among the electrode patterns formed in the first and third piezoelectric element layers of the piezoelectric element, and the third side electrode electrically connects an internal ground electrode of the second piezoelectric element layer to the bottom electrode of the third piezoelectric element layer. The power transmission member is formed in one side of the piezoelectric element to transmit vibration generated from the piezoelectric element to the outside.

Piezoelectric vibrator

The invention provides a lens transfer device including at least one lens and a lens barrel. The lens barrel has a lens receiving part with the lens arranged in an inner space thereof and an extension extending radially from an outer surface of the lens receiving part. An actuator has a body and an output member at a leading end of the actuator to contact the extension, and is adapted to expand/contract and bend in response to an external supply voltage to provide a driving force necessary for transfer of the lens barrel through the output member. A pressing member has a free end contacting a rear end of the actuator to force the actuator against the extension, and a guide guides the transfer of the lens barrel along an optical axis.

Lens transfer device

The present invention provides a piezoelectric ultrasonic motor driver which can perform self-oscillation, adjust the rotational direction of the motor, and be easy to manufacture. The motor includes a metal body having a desired shape; a plurality of piezoelectric plates attached to surfaces of the metal body, contracted and expanded to rotate the metal body; a self-oscillation unit for oscillating at an electromechanical frequency of the piezoelectric plates an electrical signal; and a delay unit for delaying an oscillation signal of the self-oscillation unit in phase by 90 or &#x2212;90 degrees according to a desired rotational direction.

Piezoelectric ultrasonic motor driver

There is provided a flat type piezoelectric ultrasonic motor for generating a rotation force to a rotor by ultrasonic vibrations. In the piezoelectric ultrasonic motor, a vibrator is formed of elastic material at a given size, a plurality of piezoelectric plates are attached on the vibrator, a rotor is drivingly connected to the vibrator thereby to be rotated, and a power source unit applies driving voltages to the piezoelectric plates. The piezoelectric plates are arranged on quartered surface areas of the vibrator in such a way that longitudinal axes of neighboring piezoelectric plates form a given angle therebetween and opposing piezoelectric plates have opposite polarizations, and the power source unit applies alternating driving voltages to the piezoelectric plates thereby to make the rotor rotated, thereby making it possible to simplify the piezoelectric plates' shape, minimize its size and enhance its driving efficiency.

Flat type piezoelectric ultrasonic motor

Provided is a compact lens module which enables zoom and auto-focus functions even in a small lens module by providing a lens carrying structure using a supersonic driving unit. A lens unit is positioned in a case and has at least one lens. A carrying member is rotatably connected in the case and connected to the lens unit so that the lens unit may move forward and backward. In addition, a driving unit is mounted in the case for transferring a driving force to the carrying member so as to move the lens unit by repeatedly contacting and non-contacting with the carrying member.

Compact lens module

The present invention relates to a lens driving device, more particularly, capable of adjusting an effective focal length determined by the relative distance of lenses in an optical device having a zooming function. In the lens driving device, a barrel unit has an internal space for containing a lens therein and a guide slot for allowing forward and backward movement of the lens through rotation of the barrel unit. A ring-shaped piezoelectric actuator unit is arranged adjacent to the barrel unit for being contracted or expanded radially in response to an external input signal. A drive member is mounted on the piezoelectric actuator unit and having a plurality of segments projected toward the barrel unit to contact the same.
