Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a customer premises equipment (CPE) may transmit a capability message that includes an indication of a mechanical displacement capability at the CPE. The CPE may receive an instruction to perform a radio optimization procedure that is based at least in part on the mechanical displacement capability, the radio optimization procedure comprising at least one of: a radio link monitoring (RLM) procedure, a radio resource management (RRM) procedure, or a beam management procedure. Capability indication for a mechanical displacement at a customer premises equipment

This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for retransmission and selection of HARQ and MCS based on partial sensing. A UE may perform a partial sensing procedure to identify one or more available resources for a sidelink transmission of the UE and transmit the sidelink transmission on a resource selected from the one or more available resources. The sidelink transmission may include at least one of a HARQ retransmission parameter or an MCS selected for the sidelink transmission based on at least one of a number of candidate slots for the partial sensing procedure, a quantity of the one or more available resources within the number of candidate slots, or a number of times that a threshold for a minimum amount of the one or more available resources is increased.

Retransmission and selection of HARQ and MCS based on partial sensing

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for conveying information via medium access control (MAC) control element (CEs). In some cases, the MAC-CEs may relate to sidelink communications between two user equipments (UEs). A first wireless node may send the first MAC-CE on at least one of a sidelink or a cellular link and provide providing routing information for the first MAC-CE. The routing information may indicate, for example, a source node, a destination node, or a transit route through one or more nodes. The routing information may also indicate whether traffic sent with the first MAC-CE is relayed traffic or traffic originating at the first node.

Sidelink medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) designs

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a UE capability to receive a first portion of a tracking reference signal (TRS) and a second portion of the TRS, the first portion and the second portion associated with a TRS pattern. The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication of the TRS pattern, where the TRS pattern includes the first portion of the TRS pattern and the second portion of the TRS pattern. The UE may receive one or more TRSs according to the first portion of the TRS pattern and the second portion of the TRS pattern.

Enhanced tracking reference signal patterns

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for signaling a user equipment (UE) to put a sidelink (SL) component carrier (CC) into dormancy or take the SL CC out of dormancy, such as mode 1 or mode 2 sidelink communications. In one example, a method performed by a UE includes receiving an indication to put a first CC into dormancy; and putting an SL CC into a dormant state in response to the indication. In another example, a method includes transmitting an indication that the first UE will put an SL CC into a dormant state; and receiving an acknowledgment (ACK) of the indication.

Dormancy indication in sidelink communication systems

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for enabling and disabling of automatic gain control (AGC) symbols in sidelink. An example method, performed at a first user equipment (UE), includes determining configuration information indicating that mini-slot transmissions, within a full-slot, are allowed, and transmitting, to a second UE, a full-slot sidelink transmission that includes a first symbol configured for automatic gain control (AGC), wherein the full slot transmission also includes one or more additional symbols configured for AGC if at least one condition is satisfied.

In some aspects, a wireless node may determine, when in communication with a plurality of other wireless nodes via a plurality of links of a network, a plurality of transmit powers for the plurality of links, wherein the plurality of transmit powers are selected to control inter-link interference or to satisfy a maximum transmit power criterion. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE, an indication of at least one sidelink unified transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state, wherein the at least one sidelink unified TCI state includes at least one of: a joint forward link and reverse link TCI state, a separate forward link TCI state, or a separate reverse link TCI state. The first UE may communicate with the second UE on at least one of the forward link or the reverse link based at least in part on the indication of the sidelink unified TCI state. Sidelink unified transmission configuration indicator state

A wireless communication device can activate a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode having first inactive and active time periods allowing a user equipment (UE) to communicate sidelink control signals to another UE. The UE may receive a message from the another UE indicating an upcoming second active time period and second active time period duration for transmitting the sidelink control signals. The UE may transmit the sidelink control signals to the another UE during the second active time period duration after receiving the message from the another UE. Managing discontinuous reception in sidelink relay

Some aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first wireless device. The method generally includes transmitting control information regarding at least one of scheduling or configuration of a channel state information (CSI) report to be transmitted by the first wireless device. The method generally includes generating the CSI report based on one or more CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs) received by the first wireless device. The method generally includes and transmitting the CSI report in accordance with the control information.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of non-preferred resources to a second UE and an indication of an amount of transmit power reduction for the second UE to observe for a sidelink transmission on the non-preferred resources. In another aspect, a first UE may transmit an indication of an amount of transmit power reduction for a second UE to observe for a sidelink transmission on conflicting resources (e.g., resources reserved by the second UE and a third UE). Because the second UE may transmit on the non-preferred resources or the conflicting resources with reduced power (e.g., rather than suppressing transmissions on the non-preferred resources or the conflicting resources), the utilization of the non-preferred resources or the conflicting resources may be improved.

Transmit power adjustment based on inter-user equipment coordination

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which different component carriers (CCs) or bandwidth parts (BWPs) of a system operating according to carrier aggregation may be configured with different transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. A base station may transmit control information to a user equipment (UE) to activate two or more CCs, and that indicates two or more different sets of TCI states that are activated for the two or more CCs. The control information may be transmitted to the UE in a single MAC-CE. The single MAC-CE to activate different sets of TCI states at CCs or BWPs may allow for a reduced number of MAC-CEs used for conveying the set of active TCI states for the CCS or BWPs.

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may determine, based at least in part on a channel sensing using a receive beam of the first UE, preferred resources or non-preferred resources of the first UE for a sidelink transmission by a second UE. Transmitting inter-user-equipment coordination information based at least in part on beamforming

A base station may instruct a UE to use at least one weighting factor associated with a CR for the UE, and the UE may apply the at least one weighting factor to the one or more resources scheduled for the PSSCH transmission to determine the CR. The UE may transmit the PSSCH in the one or more resources of the at least one slot based on the determined CR being less than or equal to a CR threshold value. The at least one weighting factor may be applied to the one or more resources in each of multiple slots scheduled for transmission of a PSSCH.
