Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for enabling and disabling of automatic gain control (AGC) symbols in sidelink. An example method, performed at a first user equipment (UE), includes determining configuration information indicating that mini-slot transmissions, within a full-slot, are allowed, and transmitting, to a second UE, a full-slot sidelink transmission that includes a first symbol configured for automatic gain control (AGC), wherein the full slot transmission also includes one or more additional symbols configured for AGC if at least one condition is satisfied.

In some aspects, a wireless node may determine, when in communication with a plurality of other wireless nodes via a plurality of links of a network, a plurality of transmit powers for the plurality of links, wherein the plurality of transmit powers are selected to control inter-link interference or to satisfy a maximum transmit power criterion. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE, an indication of at least one sidelink unified transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state, wherein the at least one sidelink unified TCI state includes at least one of: a joint forward link and reverse link TCI state, a separate forward link TCI state, or a separate reverse link TCI state. The first UE may communicate with the second UE on at least one of the forward link or the reverse link based at least in part on the indication of the sidelink unified TCI state. Sidelink unified transmission configuration indicator state

A wireless communication device can activate a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode having first inactive and active time periods allowing a user equipment (UE) to communicate sidelink control signals to another UE. The UE may receive a message from the another UE indicating an upcoming second active time period and second active time period duration for transmitting the sidelink control signals. The UE may transmit the sidelink control signals to the another UE during the second active time period duration after receiving the message from the another UE. Managing discontinuous reception in sidelink relay

Some aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first wireless device. The method generally includes transmitting control information regarding at least one of scheduling or configuration of a channel state information (CSI) report to be transmitted by the first wireless device. The method generally includes generating the CSI report based on one or more CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs) received by the first wireless device. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of non-preferred resources to a second UE and an indication of an amount of transmit power reduction for the second UE to observe for a sidelink transmission on the non-preferred resources. In another aspect, a first UE may transmit an indication of an amount of transmit power reduction for a second UE to observe for a sidelink transmission on conflicting resources (e.g., resources reserved by the second UE and a third UE). Because the second UE may transmit on the non-preferred resources or the conflicting resources with reduced power (e.g., rather than suppressing transmissions on the non-preferred resources or the conflicting resources), the utilization of the non-preferred resources or the conflicting resources may be improved.

Transmit power adjustment based on inter-user equipment coordination

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which different component carriers (CCs) or bandwidth parts (BWPs) of a system operating according to carrier aggregation may be configured with different transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. A base station may transmit control information to a user equipment (UE) to activate two or more CCs, and that indicates two or more different sets of TCI states that are activated for the two or more CCs. The control information may be transmitted to the UE in a single MAC-CE. The single MAC-CE to activate different sets of TCI states at CCs or BWPs may allow for a reduced number of MAC-CEs used for conveying the set of active TCI states for the CCS or BWPs.

Transmission configuration indicator state activation techniques for carrier aggregation

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may determine, based at least in part on a channel sensing using a receive beam of the first UE, preferred resources or non-preferred resources of the first UE for a sidelink transmission by a second UE. The UE may transmit, to the second UE, inter-UE coordination (IUC) information that indicates: a transmit beam of the second UE, and the preferred resources or the non-preferred resources of the first UE, wherein the preferred resources or the non-preferred resources of the first UE are to be applied to the transmit beam of the second UE indicated in the IUC information. Transmitting inter-user-equipment coordination information based at least in part on beamforming

A base station may instruct a UE to use at least one weighting factor associated with a CR for the UE, and the UE may apply the at least one weighting factor to the one or more resources scheduled for the PSSCH transmission to determine the CR. The UE may transmit the PSSCH in the one or more resources of the at least one slot based on the determined CR being less than or equal to a CR threshold value. The at least one weighting factor may be applied to the one or more resources in each of multiple slots scheduled for transmission of a PSSCH.

Channel occupancy ratio calculation

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink beam indication for at least one of a channel, a resource, a resource set, a bandwidth part, or a component carrier; and use the downlink beam indication for a group of channels, resources, resource sets, bandwidth parts, or component carriers. Group-based beam indication and signaling

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for beam failure detection and recovery. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes monitoring one or more reference signals for beam failure detection for a plurality of component carriers (CCs), detecting a beam failure for a subset of one or more CCs of the plurality of CCs based on the one or more reference signals, generating a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) indicating that a beam failure has occurred for the plurality of CCs in response to the detection of the beam failure for the subset of one or more CCs, and transmitting the BFRQ.

Joint failure of component carrier (CC) groups

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for determining shared resources associated with one or more user equipments (UEs) for sidelink communications, including control resources and data resources. A first UE may transmit a sidelink request to reserve a subset of data resources to a second UE, and may monitor for one or more sidelink responses indicating a positive sidelink response to the sidelink request, a negative sidelink response to the sidelink request, or both. The second UE may transmit a positive sidelink response if it is available for a data transmission. A third UE may transmit a negative sidelink response if it objects to the data transmission. The first UE may determine, based on monitoring for the one or more sidelink responses, whether to transmit a sidelink confirmation indicating a reservation of the subset of the data resources to the second UE.

Distributed sidelink resource allocation

This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for beamforming in wireless communications. Some implementations more specifically relate to beamforming configurations for multicast communications. A transmitting device may transmit multicast data to multiple receiving devices, concurrently, via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The PDSCH may be preceded by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The PDCCH may provide scheduling information for the PDSCH, including a multicast beam associated with the PDSCH and a timing offset or delay between the PDCCH and the PDSCH. A receiving device may determine that the PDSCH contains multicast data based on an indication in the PDCCH. To receive the PDSCH, each receiving device may tune its antennas in a direction of the scheduled multicast beam or a default beam based on the delay between the PDCCH and the PDSCH.

Beamforming in multicast communications

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may determine a link quality for one or more links associated with the first UE. A link quality for a link of the one or more links may be based at least in part on one or more measurements associated with at least a subset of a plurality of beams of the link. The first UE may generate, based at least in part on the link quality for the one or more links associated with the first UE, a connectivity graph of at least a portion of a wireless network in which the first UE is included. The first UE may identify, using the connectivity graph, a route to a third UE included in at least the portion of the wireless network. Numerous other aspects are provided.
