A projection apparatus and its operation method are provided. The projection apparatus includes a light-emitting device, a driving circuit coupled to the light-emitting device, and a control circuit receiving at least one video frame and analyzing color content of the at least one video frame. According to at least one control signal, the driving circuit drives the light-emitting device to generate a projected beam. The control circuit selects a highlight mode or a normal mode as a selected mode according to the color content and correspondingly sets at least one control signal to the driving circuit according to the selected mode. A brightness of the projected beam of the light-emitting device in the highlight mode is greater than that in the normal mode.

Projection apparatus and operation method thereof

A projection apparatus includes a casing, a motherboard, a power board, a light source, and a projection lens. The motherboard includes a host circuit board, a light valve, and a CPU, and is contained inside the casing. The light valve and the CPU are on the host circuit board. The power board includes a power circuit board and an AC/DC power module. The power circuit board is contained inside the casing, and the AC/DC power module is on the power circuit board. The light source is used to produce an illuminating beam. The light valve is used to transform the illuminating beam into an image beam. The projection lens is used to transform the image beam into a projecting beam. The power circuit board is parallel to the host circuit board. An optical axis of the projection lens is perpendicular to the host circuit board and power circuit board.

Projection apparatus

A lamp position adjustment device includes a base plate, a supporting frame, a lamp holder, a first positioning mechanism, and a second positioning mechanism. The first positioning mechanism is disposed between the lamp holder and the supporting frame and between the lamp holder and the base plate to enable the lamp holder to move in a first direction relative to the supporting frame. The first direction is substantially parallel with one side of a light incident surface of an integration rod. The second positioning mechanism is disposed between the lamp holder and the base plate to enable the lamp holder to rotate about an axis parallel to the first direction.

Lamp position adjustment device

A control circuit is applied into a projector and an operation method is provided for the projector. The projector includes a photo sensor provided for generating a sensing voltage according to light intensity sensed by the photo sensor. The control circuit includes a first voltage-comparing unit, a reference voltage generating unit and a second voltage-comparing unit. The first voltage-comparing unit is provided for comparing the sensing voltage and a first reference voltage, to generate a first comprising result. The reference-voltage generating unit is provided for generating a second reference voltage and determining whether adjusting the second reference voltage according to the first comparing result. The second reference voltage is relatively larger than the first reference voltage. The second voltage-comparing unit is provided for comparing the sensing voltage and the second reference voltage, to generate a second comparing result.

Control circuit and operation method for projector

A lamp includes a lampwick, a reflector, and a shade. The reflector has an opening and a bottom portion opposite to the opening. The lampwick is disposed at the bottom portion and passes through the bottom portion and at least one part of the lampwick is disposed in the reflector. The shade disposed outside the reflector covers a part of the reflector. The shade connected to the bottom portion has an inlet and an outlet. The inlet and the outlet are disposed at two opposite sides of the reflector respectively. An air flow flows into the space between the reflector and the shade through the inlet. At least one part of the air flow flows through the outlet along a flowing direction. An included angle defined between the flowing direction and a transmitting direction of an illumination light beam formed by the reflector is an acute angle.

Lamp and optical projector

A projection apparatus including a projection body and at least one adjusting leg is provided. The projection body has a casing, and the bottom of the casing has at least one accommodating cave. The adjusting leg includes a supporter and a pivoting rod. The supporter has a supporting portion and a screw connected to the supporting portion, and the projection body is capable of being supported on a surface by the supporting portion. The pivoting rod is pivoted to the casing and has a threaded hole, and the screw is screwed into the threaded hole. The pivoting rod is capable of being rotated along an axis of the pivoting rod to drive the supporter to rotate, so as to accommodate the supporting portion in the accommodating cave.

A digital micromirror device (DMD) module includes a circuit board, a DMD element, a soft elastic pad, a heat dissipation pad and a heat sink. The circuit board includes a first surface, a second surface and a through hole, wherein the first surface is opposite to the second surface. The DMD element is electrically connected to the circuit board. The soft elastic pad is disposed on the first surface of the circuit board and surrounds the through hole. The heat dissipation pad passes through the through hole and contacts the DMD element. The soft elastic pad is sandwiched between the circuit board and the heat sink, the heat dissipation pad is sandwiched between the heat sink and the DMD element, and the heat sink contacts the soft elastic pad and the heat dissipation pad, so as to apply a force to the soft elastic pad and the heat dissipation pad.

Digital micromirror device module

A projector has a case, a zoom lens, a zoom ring, a control plate, a lodging element, a control rod, and a handle. The case has an opening, and the zoom ring is disposed within the case and nearby the opening, the zoom ring is moved back and forth to drive the zoom rod. The control plate is mounted on the case and laid over the opening movably, the lodging element is movably contacted with the control rod, wherein the handle accepts the force along the extending direction of the rectangular opening so as to let the control plate move the lodging element along the extending direction of the rectangular opening and further to move the control rod for continuously regulating the focal length of the zoom lens.

Projector with a linearly adjustable zoom projection lens

A projector apparatus has an electrically conductive housing that includes a lower housing part and an upper housing part coupled to the lower housing part for covering the lower housing part, an internal projector module mounted in the housing, a first grounding component provided between the internal projector module and the upper housing part so as to establish a first grounding path between the internal projector module and the housing, and a second grounding component provided between the internal projector module and the lower housing part so as to establish a second grounding path between the internal projector module and the housing.

Projector apparatus having grounding components for protection against electromagnetic interference

A sliding lens cap includes a slide plate formed with a slide track unit, and a fixing member adapted to be mounted on a projector adjacent to a lens unit of the projector and in sliding engagement with the slide plate at the slide track unit to permit slidable retention of the slide plate on the projector and to permit movement of the slide plate between covering and uncovering positions relative to the lens unit.
