An operation method of a terminal in a wireless communication system includes: transmitting uplink (UL) traffic information indicating a size of a UL data signal to a base station; receiving a jamming message generated based on the UL traffic information from the base station; generating an uplink (UL) transmission signal including the UL data signal and a UL jamming signal based on the jamming message; and transmitting the UL transmission signal to the base station. Also, the jamming message indicates a pattern of the UL jamming signal, the UL transmission signal is transmitted in a same frequency band as a frequency band in which a downlink (DL) transmission signal of the base station is received, and the UL jamming signal is transmitted in remaining resources excluding resources occupied by the UL data signal in the frequency band.

A method for receiving a data frame by a receive station in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system is provided. The method includes: receiving a signal A field including a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) indicator and including a first signal A sub-field and a second signal A sub-field each transmitted as different orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols; determining a processing type of a subsequently transmitted signal based on the signal A field; receiving a data field; and obtaining data by interpreting the data field based on the processing type of the signal. Method of selecting metrics and receiver using the same

The present invention relates to a decoding device and method for a MIMO system. A linear process is applied to a received signal vector by using a channel matrix estimated from the received signal vector and a poly-diagonalized matrix, and a soft decision value is acquired through a trellis decode by using the linear process result. Since the linear preprocess is performed by using the poly-diagonalized matrix, it is possible to receive a MIMO signal having good packet error rate performance and less complexity. Also, since the tail-biting trellis decoding method is used based on the poly-diagonalized matrix that is generated by poly-diagonalizing the effective channel matrix during the process for eliminating the signal interference, the soft decision value for the symbol can be generated with a simple hardwired device and less operation complexity.
