A near-eye display device includes an image output module, a coded-aperture module, and a light-guiding component. The image output module is configured to provide at least one image. The coded-aperture module is configured to encode the lights of the at least one image emitted from the image output module, so as to generate at least one left-eye image and at least one right-eye image. The light-guiding component is configured to send the left-eye image and the right-eye image to different directions respectively.

Near-eye display device

An autostereoscopic display includes a plurality of projectors and a screen. Each of the projectors is configured to provide a corresponding lamp image unit. Each of the lamp image units includes array of lamp images actuated in time sequence and projecting to different directions. The screen has an image plane and includes a first micro-lens array and a second micro-lens array. The first micro-lens array is configured to guide the lamp image units to the image plane such that the lamp image units are connected end to end and arranged in a ring on the image plane as a lamp image set. The second micro-lens array is located corresponding to the first micro-lens array and configured to magnify the projection angles of the lamp image units in the lamp image set and project the lamp image set to an observing surface.

Autostereoscopic display device and autostereoscopic display method

Display equipment includes a display device, a backlight device, a first cylindrical lens array and a second cylindrical lens array. The display device includes multiple display units. At least three adjacent display elements are used to display at least one pixel in an image. The backlight device is configured to generate multiple first incident light and multiple second incident light. The first cylindrical lens array and the second cylindrical lens array are configured to refract the first incident light and the second incident light. After the first cylindrical lens array and the second cylindrical lens array refract the first incident light and the second incident light time-sequentially, the light will be projected at the positions with different vertical heights on the display units.

Display equipment and display method

A stereo display device includes a light source module, a display module, and first, second, and third lenticular lens. The light source module sequentially provides a plurality of groups of timing light. The first lenticular lens is disposed in front of the light source module. The second lenticular lens is disposed in front of the first lenticular lens. By two optical Fourier transforms performed by the first and second lenticular lens, different groups of timing light are respectively focus on different sub-regions of each of the pixels of the display module. The display module is disposed in front of the second lenticular lens and transforms the timing light focused on the pixels into a plurality of groups of pixel light. The third lenticular lens is disposed in front of the display module and directs the pixel light to a plurality of views.

Stereo display device

A multi-view display includes a display panel and a lenticular lens. The multi-view display has a first direction. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels, and each of the pixels includes a plurality of sub-pixels sequentially disposed side by side along the first direction. The lenticular lens is disposed on the display panel, and the lenticular lens includes a plurality of cylindrical lenses. A difference between a number of the sub-pixels corresponding to each of the cylindrical lenses along the first direction and a number of the sub-pixels of each of the pixels is an odd number.

Multi-view display

A head mounted display includes first and second light sources, an image output module and a light guide plate. The first light source is configured to emit a first light. The second light source is configured to emit a second light. The image output module is configured to receive the first light and the second light, and respectively generate first and second image lights with the relative image information. The light guide plate includes first and second light-output portions, and the first light-output portion and the second light-output portion are separated from each other by at least one distance along a first direction. The light guide plate is configured to guide the first image light propagating in the guide plate into the first light-output portion and to guide the second image light propagating in the light guide plate into the second light-output portion.

Head mounted display

A projection device includes a first chip set and a second chip set. The first chip set includes multiple first micro mirror. Angles of the first micro mirror are adjusted in multiple first time intervals, so as to output a first image set according to a light source. The first image set includes multiple first images corresponding to the first time intervals. Angles of the second micro mirror are adjusted correspondingly in the first time intervals, so as to output a second image set according to the first image set. The second image set includes multiple second images corresponding to the first time intervals.

Projection device and projection method

A stereo display device includes a light guide plate, light sources, a display module, and first, second, and third lenticular lens arrays. The light guide plate has incident and exit surfaces. The light sources emit a source light towards the incident surface. The first lenticular lens array transforms the source light into directional lights. The light guide plate receives directional lights at the incident surface and reflects the received directional lights out of the exit surface. The second lenticular lens array transforms the reflected directional lights into focused reflected directional lights towards elongated regions of the display module. The display module transforms focused reflected directional lights into sets of pixel light. The display module's elongated regions extend in a first direction and pixels each includes sub-pixels arranged along the first direction. The third lenticular lens array directs the sets of pixel light to viewing zones.

A head mounted display includes a first and second light sources, a light turning prism, a field lens group, an image output module, a first and second eyepiece modules. The first and second light sources are respectively configured to emit first and second lights. The image output module is configured to receive the first light and the second light, and to respectively generate a first image light and a second image light with corresponding image information. The light turning prism is optically coupled between the first light source (or the second light source) and the field lens group. The light turning prism is configured to vary a propagating direction of the first light (or the second light) from the first light source (or the second light source) to the image output module. The first/second eyepiece modules are configured to make the second/first image light image to first/second target positions.

A backlight module includes two light guide plates, two light-emitting modules, and a controller. Each of the light guide plates has an incident surface and a light-output surface. The light guide plates are arranged side-by-side to make the light-output surfaces be coplanar. Each of the light-emitting modules is configured to provide a first kind of light and a second kind of light to the incident surface of the corresponding light guide plate. The first kind of light has a first triplet. The second kind of light has a second triplet different from the first triplet. The controller is configured to asynchronously drive any of the light-emitting modules to alternately provide the first kind of light and the second kind of light.

Backlight module and display device

A stereo display device includes a light source module, a portrait display module, and first, second, and third lenticular lens. The light source module sequentially provides a plurality of groups of timing light. The first lenticular lens is disposed in front of the light source module. The second lenticular lens is disposed in front of the first lenticular lens. The portrait display module is disposed in front of the second lenticular lens. By two optical Fourier transforms performed by the first and second lenticular lens, different groups of timing light are respectively focused on different sub-regions of each of the pixels of the portrait display module. The portrait display module transforms the timing light focused on the pixels into a plurality of groups of pixel light. The third lenticular lens is disposed in front of the portrait display module and directs the pixel light to a plurality of views.

An omnidirectional three-dimensional scanner includes a first image capturing module, a second image capturing module, a third image capturing module, a fourth image capturing module, and a fifth image capturing module. The first image capturing module, the second image capturing module, the third image capturing module, the fourth image capturing module, and the fifth image capturing module capture three-dimensional images of an object. The first image capturing module has a first image capturing surface. The second image capturing module has a second image capturing surface. The third image capturing module has a third image capturing surface. The fourth image capturing module has a fourth image capturing surface. The fifth image capturing module has a fifth image capturing surface. The first image capturing surface, the second image capturing surface, the third image capturing surface, the fourth image capturing surface, and the fifth image capturing surface form a virtual triangle column.

Omnidirectional three-dimensional scanner

A backlight module includes a light source module, a light timing control unit, a light guide plate and a lenticular lens. The light source module includes first light sources and second light sources. The lenticular lens disposed beside a side surface of the light guide plate and optically coupled between the light source module and the light guide plate, the lenticular lens having a central axis and a plurality of lenticular units. Each lenticular unit has a central optical axis, and one of the first light sources covered by one of the lenticular units is symmetrically disposed with respect to the central optical axis of the lenticular unit covering the first light source, at least two of the second light sources covered by one of lenticular units are disposed symmetrically with respect to the central optical axis of the lenticular unit covering the second light sources.

Backlight module and stereoscopic display device using the same

A stereo display device includes a light source module, an image determining array, an imaging module, and a spatial dividing element. The light source module sequentially emits first and second lights to target regions in different directions. The image determining array includes pixel units respectively disposed in the target regions, and each of the pixel units sequentially provides first and second information to the first and second lights respectively. The imaging module guides the first light having the first information to form first imaging units, and guides the second light having the second information to form second imaging units. The spatial dividing element sends the first image units to first viewing regions respectively and sends the second image units to second viewing regions respectively, and two of the first image units corresponding to adjacent two of the pixel units are transmitted to the first viewing regions in different directions.

A display apparatus and a display method are disclosed. The display apparatus includes a left eye block and a right eye block. Each of the left eye and right eye block includes a relay unit and an eyepiece unit. Relay unit including at least one first optical lens is configured to receive light beams of input image, and generate a relay image by enlarging input image through the at least one first optical lens. The eyepiece unit including at least one second optical lens is configured to receive light beams of relay image, and generate an output image for a user to see by converging light beams of relay image through the at least one second optical lens.
