The present disclosure may disclose methods and systems for treating an object. The method may include imaging an object fixed on a positioning device using an imaging device. The method may include obtaining a plan image of the object. The method may include generating information of a region of interest (ROI) of the object based on the plan image of the object. The method may include generating a treatment plan based on the information of the ROI. The treatment plan may include a plan isocenter on the plan image. The method may further include treating a target portion of the object based on the treatment plan using a treatment device. The object may be fixed on the positioning device from a moment that the object is started to fixed on the positioning device to an end of the treatment of the target portion.

Methods and systems for treating an object

Disclosed is a force applying device for orthodontic treatment being elastically expandable and configured to generate a restoring force as an orthodontic force for an orthodontic treatment when compressed. The force applying device comprises a first element and a second element capable of moving relative to each other along a first axis. The force applying device for orthodontic treatment is compressed when the first and second elements move towards each other along the first axis. A first arm extends laterally from a first end of the first element away from the second element. A first connecting part of a first connector is fitted over the first arm. A second connecting part of the first connector is to be fitted over a button fixed on a first jaw to connect the first element to the first jaw. Both the first and the second connecting parts are toroidal in shape.

Force applying device for orthodontic treatment

A spin coating device and method. The spin coating device includes a rotatable rotary shaft and sucker fixed on an end portion of the shaft, and an electromagnetic induction device below the sucker which includes an annular magnet fixed below the sucker, coil group formed by a first and second coil, and strip-shaped magnet fixed at the rotary shaft. A base on the sucker has a notch. The unbalanced centrifugal force during rotation of the sucker causes vibration. The electromagnetic induction device enables the centrifugal force generated during rotation of the sucker to be in balance with the magnetic force generated by the electromagnetic induction device to adjust the levelness of the sucker surface. The device does not need manual manipulation, enables the sucker to be more stable, reduces damage to the equipment due to vibration, and improves the effect of photoresist spin-coating while saving time and labor.

Novel and advantageous systems and method for obtaining and/or reconstructing simultaneous computed tomography (CT)-magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images are provided. Structural coupling (SC) and compressive sensing (CS) techniques can be combined to unify and improve CT and MRI reconstruction. A bidirectional image estimation method can be used to connect images from different modalities, with CT and MRI data serving as prior knowledge to each other to produce better CT and MRI image quality than would be realized with individual reconstruction.

The present invention provides systems, methods, and devices for improved computed tomography (CT). More specifically, the present invention includes methods for improved cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) resolution using improved filtered back projection (FBP) algorithms, which can be used for cardiac tomography and across other tomographic modalities. A method includes storing video data in a disk by way of a first queue comprising a linked list of buffers. Video data are received into the first queue by way of a tail buffer. The tail buffer is at one end of the linked list of buffers in the first queue. Video data are copied from a head buffer to the disk. The head buffer is at another end of the linked list of buffers in the first queue. The video data are displayed in real-time directly from the buffers in the queue, without retrieving the displayed video data from the disk, and without interrupting the storing step.

A method comprises providing a free buffer pool in a memory including a non-negative number of free buffers that are not allocated to a queue for buffering data. A request is received to add one of the free buffers to the queue. One of the free buffers is allocated to the queue in response to the request, if the queue has fewer than a first predetermined number of buffers associated with a session type of the queue. One of the free buffers is allocated to the queue, if a number of buffers in the queue is at least as large as the first predetermined number and less than a second predetermined number associated with the session type, and the number of free buffers is greater than zero.

A switching power supply controller has a nominal loop gain and transient loop gain that is only activated in response to an abrupt load change in one direction. The transient loop gain may be implemented with a series-connected diode and resistor combination arranged in a feedback configuration with an error amplifier. A large load change in one direction may swing the output of the error amplifier and forward bias the diode to create a non-linear gain change.

A method includes assigning each of a plurality of disk write and disk read requests to respective ones of a plurality of queues. Each queue has an occupancy level and a weight. A score is assigned to each of the plurality of queues, based on the occupancy and weight of the respective queue. An operation type is selected to be granted a next disk access. The selection is from the group consisting of disk write, disk read, and processor request. One of the queues is selected based on the score assigned to each queue, if the selected operation type is disk write request or disk read request. The next disk access is granted to the selected operation type and, if the selected operation type is disk write or disk read, to the selected queue.
