The present disclosure relates to an organic compound having the following structure, and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) and an organic light emitting device including the organic compound. Applying the organic compound into an emissive layer makes the OLED and the organic light emitting device lower their driving voltage, improves their luminous efficiency and color purity.

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) including at least one emitting material layer (EML) disposed between two electrodes and comprising a first compound including a fused ring of boron and oxygen as a nuclear atom and a second compound including a fused ring of born and nitrogen as a nuclear atom and an organic light emitting device including the OLED is disclosed. The first compound and the second compound may be the same emitting material layer or adjacently disposed emitting material layers. The OLED can lower its driving voltage and improve its luminous efficiency using the first and second compounds with adjusting their energy levels.

Organic light emitting diode and organic light emitting device including the same

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) includes a first emitting material layer disposed adjacently to a first electrode and a second emitting material layer disposed adjacently to a second electrode. The first emitting material layer includes a first compound having high affinity to holes and a second compound of thermally activated delayed fluorescent material, and the second emitting material layer includes a fourth compound having high affinity to electrons and implementing triplet-triplet annihilation. Two emitting material layers having adjusted energy levels allow the OLED to lower its driving voltages and improve its luminous efficiency and luminous lifetime.

The present disclosure provides an organic light emitting diode including a first electrode; a second electrode facing the first electrode; and an emitting material layer including a first compound and a second compound positioned between the first and second electrodes, wherein the first compound includes a hexagonal-ring moiety including one boron atom, one oxygen atom and four carbon atoms, and the second compound includes a hexagonal-ring moiety including one boron atom, one nitrogen atom and four carbon atoms, and an organic light emitting device including the organic light emitting diode.

Disclosed is an organic light emitting diode (OLED) comprising at least one emitting unit that includes a first compound, which may have a bipolar property, a second compound, which may have a delayed fluorescent property, and a third compound, which may have narrow FWHM (full width at half maximum) and a fluorescent property, and an organic light emitting device including the OLED. Further the compounds have defined relative LUMO and HOMO energies. The OLED and the organic light emitting device has enhanced luminous efficiency, color purity and luminous life span as well as low driving voltage.

An organic light emitting diode comprises an emitting material layer implementing a delayed fluorescence and another emitting material layer disposed adjacently to the emitting material layer and implementing fluorescence or phosphorescence and an organic light emitting device including the diode. As exciton generated in the plural emitting material layer drops to a ground state through the luminous materials each of which has a controlled energy level, it is possible to implement excellent luminous efficiency derived from a delayed fluorescent material and improved color purity derived from a fluorescent or phosphorescent material having narrow FWHM.

An organic light emitting diode and an organic light emitting device including the organic compound are also disclosed. The organic compound has excellent thermal resistance and a high energy level due to the combination of fused hetero aromatic rings. Therefore, the organic light emitting diode and the organic light emitting device including the organic compound show excellent luminous efficiency and an improved luminous lifetime.

The present disclosure relates to an organic compound having the following structure of Chemical Formula 1, and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) and an organic light emitting device including the organic compound. The organic compound includes a triazine moiety of an electron acceptor and a fused hetero aromatic moiety of an electron donor separated from the triazine moiety. The organic compound includes the electron acceptor moiety and the electron donor moiety in a single molecule, thus charges can be moved in the molecule. Also, since the organic compound includes the rigid fused hetero aromatic ring, three dimensional conformation of the organic compound is limited, and therefore the compound may have excellent luminous efficiency and color purity.

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides an organic light emitting diode comprising a first electrode; a second electrode facing the first electrode; and a first emitting material layer including a first delayed fluorescent dopant and a first phosphorescent dopant and disposed between the first and second electrodes, wherein a percentage by weight of the first phosphorescent dopant with respect to the first delayed fluorescent dopant is equal to or less than 5.

Organic light emitting diode, lighting device and organic light emitting display device

Disclosed is an organic light emitting diode (OLED) includes a first emitting material layer, which includes a first compound and a second compound, and a second emitting material layer, which includes a third compound and a fourth compound, wherein a HOMO energy level of the first compound is higher than a HOMO energy level of the second compound and a HOMO energy level of the third compound is lower than a HOMO energy level of the fourth compound, and an organic light emitting device having the OLED. The OLED and the organic light emitting device disclosed have enhanced luminous efficiency, color purity and luminous life span as well as low driving voltage by applying the emitting material layer.

The present disclosure provides an organic light emitting diode comprising a first electrode; a second electrode facing the first electrode; and an emitting material layer. The emitting material layer includes a p-type host, a n-type host and a phosphorescent dopant and positioned between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein a first energy level of a HOMO of the p-type host is equal to or lower than a second energy level of a HOMO of the n-type host, and a difference between an energy level of a singlet state of the n-type host and an energy level of a triplet state of the n-type host is greater than 0.3 eV and smaller than 0.5 eV.
