A display device includes a display panel having a front portion and at least one side portion that is bent from at least one side of the front portion. The front portion includes first pixels. The side portion includes second pixels and crack prevention portions that are disposed adjacent to the second pixels. A number of the first pixels per unit area disposed in the front portion is greater than a number of the second pixels per unit area disposed in the at least one side portion.

Display device having crack prevention portions on a side portion and method of fabricating the same

A display device includes a first display area including a plurality of first pixel areas, a second display area including a plurality of second pixel areas and a plurality of transmission areas, a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form in the first and second display areas, and a first signal line and a second signal line disposed to correspond to each pixel column in the plurality of pixels. In each pixel column, one of the first and second signal lines may extend over the first and second display areas, and a remaining one of the first and second signal lines may not be disposed in the second display area.

Display device

A display device includes a substrate, data lines arranged on the substrate, the data lines to which data voltages are applied, scan lines arranged on the substrate, the scan lines to which scan signals are applied, and a pixel connected to one of the data lines and at least one of the scan lines. The pixel includes a light emitting element, a driving transistor which supplies a driving current flowing between a first electrode and a second electrode to the light emitting element in accordance with the data voltage of the data line applied to a gate electrode, a first transistor between the gate electrode and second electrode of the driving transistor, a shielding electrode overlapping at least a part of the first transistor in a thickness direction of the substrate. The shielding electrode does not overlap the data lines in the thickness direction of the substrate.

A display device includes a substrate, a light emitting element located on the substrate, an encapsulation layer covering the light emitting element, a sensing electrode located on the encapsulation layer, a first sensing line including a first portion having a first thickness and a second portion having a second thickness, and a second sensing line extended from the sensing electrode. The second sensing line is in contact with the first portion of the first sensing line. The first thickness and the second thickness are substantially the same. The first portion is positioned higher than the second portion from the substrate.
