Disclosed is a digital LDO regulator capable of performing asynchronous binary search using a binary-weighted PMOS array. The digital LDO regulator includes a PMOS array unit including a binary-weighted PMOS array and that binary searches the PMOS array asynchronously, and a mode determining unit that operates in at least one of a fine mode, a coarse mode, and a medium mode, based on an output voltage of the PMOS array unit.

Provided is a power detection circuit for tracking a maximum power point of a solar cell. The power detection circuit includes: an average voltage extracting unit which extracts an average voltage Vfrom an external voltage Vinput from an external energy source; a ripple voltage extracting unit which extracts a ripple voltage including current information of the external voltage Vfrom the external voltage V; a voltage-time converter which generates a ramp voltage Vchanging at a predetermined rate and converts the average voltage Vand the ripple voltage into corresponding time information &#x394;tand &#x394;tbased on the ramp voltage V; a time-digital converter which converts the time information &#x394;tfor the ripple voltage into a digital code t[n:0]; and a time multiplier which multiplies the digital code t[n:0] and the time information &#x394;tfor the average voltage Vto output a specific voltage value.

Power detection circuit for tracking maximum power point of solar cell and method thereof

Provided is a ramp signal generating apparatus. The ramp signal generating apparatus includes N (N is a natural number) ramp signal generating cells that are connected in series to each other. Each of the ramp signal generating cells includes a power voltage unit for supplying current source, a latch unit for latching an output voltage of the power voltage unit, and a switch unit for outputting the voltage latched by the latch unit as an output voltage in response to an input signal.
