A video scope system including a video scope in which a solid state image sensor is disposed in a distal end of an insertion to be inserted into an object under inspection and picks up an image of the inside of the object under inspection illuminated by a light fed by a light guide extending in the insertion section, a light source unit having a light source feeding a light into the light guide, and a video processor unit processing a signal supplied from the solid state image sensor to output a picture signal to be displayed on a monitor. The light source unit and the video processor unit are disposed in separate housings, respectively, and these units are connected to each other by a cable to transmit a signal therebetween.

Video scope system

This endoscope light source apparatus can feed illuminating lights to a scope provided with a frame sequential type imaging device, a scope provided with a color mosaic type imaging device and a fiber scope. This endoscope light source apparatus has a frame sequential light source part which can output a plurality of color lights and a white light source part which can output a white light. This frame sequential light source part has a filter which can output a plurality of color lights.

Endoscope light source apparatus

The endoscope light source apparatus of this invention can be selectively connected with an endoscope having a light guide means which can transmit an illuminating light for an object and an endoscope having a light source which can illuminate an object. The endoscope connected to the endoscope light source apparatus is discriminated by a scope discriminating circuit outputting a signal which can control a light guide light source and a power source which can feed an electric power to the light source provided in the endoscope.

This rigid electronic endoscope has an endoscope having an elongate insertable part connected to the front part of an operating part which is also a holding part on the base side and formed of a solid state imaging device which can output an electric signal by electrically converting an object image in this insertable part and a conductive shielding member sheathing this insertable part. The electric signal obtained by this endoscope is input into a signal processing circuit. The ground terminal of this signal processing circuit is electrically connected to the above mentioned shielding member and is isolated from a ground terminal on the external current source side.

Rigid electronic endoscope

An endoscope comprises an elongated inserting section having an illumination window and an observation window at a distal end portion thereof, an imaging device for forming an optical image of an object upon receiving light reflected from the object radiated through the observation window, and an ultrasonic probe disposed at the distal end portion of the inserting section and adapted to obtain an ultrasonic image of the object. A signal processing apparatus to which the endoscope is connected comprises: an optical-image signal processing device adapted to effect signal processing for the imaging device and to generate a video signal of the optical image and having an optical image memory device for storing the optical image, an ultrasonic-image signal processing device adapted to effect signal processing for the ultrasonic probe and to generate a video signal of the ultrasonic image and having an ultrasonic image memory device for storing the ultrasonic image, and a memory device control device which is adapted to control writing and reading by the optical image memory device and the ultrasonic image memory device, and which, when a moving ultrasonic image is viewed, makes it possible to display a still optical image, and, when a moving optical image is viewed, makes it possible to display a still ultrasonic image.

Endoscope apparatus

This endoscope system comprises an endoscope and a washing apparatus. The endoscope is provided with an elongate insertable part having an observing window and illuminating window in the tip part, an observing system receiving the returning light from an object entering through the observing window, an illuminating light output system emitting an illuminating light from the illuminating window and a memorizing device capable of memorizing information relating to washing. The washing apparatus is provided with a read-out device reading out information memorized in the memorizing device of the endoscope and a control device controlling the conditions of washing the endoscope by the information read out by the read-out device.

Endoscope and endoscope washing apparatus

A system comprising a frame sequential type color imaging device, a color imaging device provided with a color filter, an illuminating light outputting device which can output illuminating lights corresponding to these different color imaging devices, a signal processing device processing the signals corresponding to the respective color imaging devices and a color monitor displaying the processed color video signals so that any color imaging device can be used.

Endoscope imaging system for use with multiple color imaging systems

A TV camera of this invention is adapted to be attached to an eyepiece section of, for example, an endoscope. The camera has a camera body with an eyepiece section. A camera mount is attached to the front portion of the inside of the casing so that the camera body is mounted on the eyepiece section of the endoscope. A beam splitter is arranged behind the camera mount to allow light which has been incident into the camera body to be split into two beams of one and the other beam. An image pickup element block includes an image pickup element for receiving the light conducted in the light incident direction and an optical system for projecting the beam travelling in the beam-incident direction onto the receiving surface of the image pickup element where an image is formed. The element block is mounted on the rear side of the beam splitter such that it is detachable from the camera body. A finder optical system is disposed parallel to the image pickup block to conduct the other beam to the eyepiece section of the camera body. It is possible to exchange an initially attached image pickup element with another image pickup element of a different size by replacing only the image pickup element block without replacing the finder optical system.

In order to effectively eliminate moire without requiring the preparation, on hand, of various types of adapters and to make it possible to obtain an image of high resolution, a television camera is arranged that a plurality of optical low-pass filters having mutually different optical characteristics are housed within the camera body so as to place either one of these optical low-pass filters into the photographic optical path by external manual operation, or arranged that a plurality of optical low-pass filters having mutually different optical characteristics disposed on the photographic optical path are housed within the camera body so as to rotate at least one of these optical low-pass filters about the optical axis by external manual operation.

An imaging apparatus for use in an electronic endoscope or the like is provided with a mechanically driven light-shielding plate, wherein imaging is effected by using a solid-state imaging device starting from a time when an amount of light shielded by this light-shielding plate becomes minimal, or imaging is effected repeatedly during a short exposure time within a transient period during which the amount of light shielded becomes minimal, and when an signal level of each image reaches a reference level, that signal is stored in a memory.
