This dust collecting unit for use in a cleaner includes an inlet port through which air and dust is taken in, a dust catch room into which the air and dust taken in through the inlet port is led, an air flow path for separating a part of air taken in through the inlet port and ensuring air flow, an air outlet port through which the air having passed through the dust catch room and the air flow path is discharged, and a filter provided on the upstream side of the air outlet port for preventing dust from flowing to the air outlet port from the dust catch room and the air flow path.

Dust collector and vacuum cleaner having the same

An electric vacuum cleaner including a suction tool main body, a vacuum cleaner main body which communicates to the suction tool main body, and a dust colleector provided at the vacuum cleaner main body. The dust collector includes a dust collection container, a tubular body disposed at substantially a central portion of the dust collection container in a vertical direction, a collar portion which is formed to project towards an inner wall on the dust collection container, vent holes which are piercingly provided at the tubular body, and an intake which opens at the dust collection container. The flow passage of air which extends from the central portion of the tubular body on a bottom portion of the dust collection container to the vent holes can be made long so that it is possible to exhibit the effect that the amount of stirred up dust reaching the vent holes can be reduced.

Electric vacuum cleaner

An upright-type electric vacuum cleaner including a vacuum cleaner main body with at least a dust collector and an exhaust outlet, and a suction body provided at a lower front of the vacuum main body. The dust collector is disposed on a rearward side of the vacuum cleaner main body and wherein the exhaust outlet is disposed on a front surface side of the dust collector. The area of the exhaust outlet can be made large without being interfered by the dust collector.

Upright-type electric vacuum cleaner with detachable dust collector

An electric cleaning device circulates exhaust air from an electric blower to a floor intake tool. The exhaust air passes through an exhaust guide, formed as one element, in a main cleaning device unit from the electric blower through a hose to the floor intake tool. The exhaust guide is a resilient unitary resin part with sufficient resilience to permit compression for installation. The springback of the exhaust guide seals the exhaust path against leakage.
