A circuit allowing self-recovery of an operating system (OS) includes a PCH chip, a switch chip, a first ROM, a second ROM, a connector, and a storage unit. The switch chip, the second ROM, and the connector are coupled to the PCH chip. The first ROM is coupled to the PCH chip through the switch chip. The second ROM controls the PCH chip to output a signal according to the state of the operating system. The first ROM stores a backup the operating system. The switch chip receives control signal from the PCH chip, and controls whether the first ROM communicates with the PCH chip, to allow recovery of the entire or part of the OS in the event that repair is required.

Recovery circuit

An electronic device includes a motherboard and a display. The motherboard includes a south bridge chip, a leak-proof circuit, and a connector. The leak-proof circuit includes a control unit and a first signal transmission unit. The control unit is electrically coupled to a power supply. The first signal transmission unit includes a first electronic switch, a second electronic switch and a first resistor. The second electronic switch is electrically coupled to ground through the first resistor. When the motherboard is turned off and the display is turned on, the power supply does not provide power to the control unit, and the control unit outputs a first control signal to the first and the second electronic switches. The first and the second electronic switches are in pinch-off mode. Signals from the display flow into ground through the second electronic switch and the first resistor.

Electronic device and motherboard

An interface supply circuit includes a power supply unit, a control unit coupled to the power supply unit, and a detection unit coupled to the control unit. The detection unit is configured to couple to an interface. The detection unit is configured to output a first control signal upon detecting that a device is inserted into the interface and output a second control signal upon detecting that no device is inserted into the interface. The control unit is configured to be switched on upon receiving the first control signal. The power supply unit is configured to supply power to the interface in event that the control unit is switched on. The power supply unit is configured to be disconnected from the interface in event that the control unit receives the second control signal.

Interface supply circuit

A socket includes a voice-receiver, a processing module coupled to the voice-receiver, a converting member coupled to the processing module, and a switching member coupled to the converting member. The switching member is configured to couple to a supply member and a load. The voice-receiver is configured to receive a voice instruction. The processing module is configured to recognize the voice instruction and to output a control signal according the voice instruction. The converting member is configured to convert the control signal to a switching signal. The switching member is configured to be switched on or be switched off according to the switching signal. The supply member is configured to supply power to the load after the switching member is be switched on and not to supply power to the load after the switching member is be switched off. A voice-recognition method is also provided.

Socket and voice-recognition method using same

An interface supply circuit includes a power supply unit, a first and a second control circuit, and a detection unit coupled to an interface. The detection unit is configured to output a first control signal upon detecting a corresponding device is inserted into the interface and output a second control signal upon detecting no device is inserted into the interface. The first control circuit is configured to switch off in event receiving the first control signal and switch on in event receiving the second control signal. The second control circuit is configured to switch on in event the first control circuit is switched off and switch off in event the first control circuit is switched on. The power supply unit is configured to supply power to the interface after the second control circuit is switched on and be disconnected from the interface after the second control circuit is switched off.
