A centrifugal blower includes a case, an electric motor supported by the case at a motor support position, and a fan driven by the electric motor. The fan includes: a boss installed to an output shaft; a main plate extending outward from the boss in a radial direction; a plurality of blades extending from the main plate toward one side in an axial direction; and a side plate joined to an end portion of each of the plurality of blades, which faces the one side in the axial direction. A weight of the main plate is larger than a weight of the side plate. The main plate and the side plate are both inclined toward another side opposite to the one side in the axial direction as the main plate and the side plate approach an outer side in the radial direction.

Centrifugal blower

A blower includes a shaft and a centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan includes a plurality of blades, a shroud and a main plate. Each of the plurality of blades has a leading edge and a trailing edge. At each blade, a negative pressure surface of an air inlet section of the blade, which is closer to the leading edge than the trailing edge, has a projection that projects toward a positive pressure surface of an adjacent one of the plurality of blades. At least a portion of the positive pressure surface of the air inlet section is inclined toward a forward side in a rotational direction of the centrifugal fan to progressively extend toward the forward side in the rotational direction as the portion of the positive pressure surface of the air inlet section extends toward the main plate.

Blower

A centrifugal blower includes a plurality of blades, a shroud, a main plate and a tubular portion. An air flow passage is formed between each adjacent two of the blades. When the blades are rotated, air, which is suctioned from one axial side into a suction port is conducted through the air flow passage and is radially outwardly discharged. The shroud has a cover region, which faces another axial side and is shaped in a convex arcuate form. An axial end part of the tubular portion, which faces the one axial side, has an end surface. The end surface and a second virtual line are parallel to each other, or a distance, which is measured between the end surface and the second virtual line in the axial direction, is progressively increased from a radially inner part to a radially outer part of the end surface.

An air discharge device includes a duct that defines a flow passage through which a working air flow to be discharged passes, and a hole forming member defining an air discharge hole as an outlet of the working air flow. The hole forming member has a vortex generation structure configured to generate an auxiliary vortex having a vortex characteristic including a vortex rotation direction and a vortex axis direction. The vortex characteristic of the auxiliary vortex is different from that of a lateral vortex generated by the working air flow at a downstream side of the air discharge hole. The vortex generation structure is configured in the hole forming member so that the auxiliary vortex collides with the lateral vortex in a state where at least one of the vortex rotation direction and the vortex axial direction of the vortex characteristic is different from that of the lateral vortex.

Air discharge device

An air discharge device includes an air discharge unit for discharging an air flow. The air discharge unit includes at least one main hole from which an air flow is blown out as a working air flow, and a separation structure configured to separate a central portion of a thickness of a velocity boundary layer of the working air flow from a center line of the main hole at a downstream side of the main hole.

A fluid discharge device is for discharging a fluid includes a duct defining a fluid flow passage and having an opening at a downstream end of the fluid flow passage. The fluid discharge device includes a grill portion disposed in the fluid flow passage to adjust a flow direction of the fluid blown from the opening. The grill portion includes at least an adjustment fin rotatably arranged in the fluid flow passage, and is provided with an auxiliary flow passage that guides a part of the fluid flowing through the fluid flow passage to the opening as an auxiliary flow. The auxiliary flow passage is configured together with the adjustment fin to adjust a flow direction of the auxiliary flow discharged from the auxiliary flow passage to be aligned with the flow direction of the fluid flowing through the fluid flow passage.

Fluid discharge device

The air discharge device includes a duct defining: a main flow path through which an air flow passes; and a main hole opened in a flat shape to discharge the air flow as a working air flow toward a downstream from the main flow path. A throttle portion is provided in the duct to reduce a flow path height of the main flow path from an upstream of the air flow toward a downstream of the air flow. A plurality of partitions are arranged to divide the main flow path in a major direction into a pair of side flow paths and at least one center flow path. The plurality of partitions are disposed in the duct such that a flow path width of the center flow path is reduced from the upstream of the air flow toward the downstream of the air flow.

An air discharge device is configured to discharge an air flow. The air discharge device includes a main hole for discharging an air flow as a working air flow, an auxiliary hole provided around the main hole to discharge a support air flow, and a vortex suppression structure configured to suppress development of vortices generated in a velocity boundary layer of the working air flow at a downstream side of an outlet of the main hole. This vortex suppression structure is configured to make a central portion of the thickness of the velocity boundary layer of the working air flow at the downstream side of the outlet of the main hole to be closer to a mainstream of the support air flow, at the downstream side of the outlet of the main hole.

A fluid discharge device includes a base portion defining a fluid flow passage and having an opening at a downstream end of the fluid flow passage, and a grill portion disposed to adjust a flow direction of the fluid blown from the opening. The grill portion includes a flow passage forming body defining a main flow passage and an auxiliary flow passage. In the flow passage forming body, the auxiliary flow passage surrounds the main flow passage and the auxiliary flow discharged from the auxiliary flow passage flows outside of the main flow discharged from the main flow passage. The flow passage forming body is configured such that a direction of the auxiliary flow discharged from the auxiliary flow passage corresponds to the direction of the main flow discharged from the main flow passage, when the flow direction of the fluid blown out of the opening is adjusted.

In an electric motor, a magnetic bearing generates an electromagnetic force between multiple permanent magnets and a coil and rotatably supports an other side of a rotation shaft in an axis line direction. The rotation shaft is configured to be capable of being inclined with a rotation center line using a bearing side of the rotation shaft as a fulcrum. An electronic control device controls a current that flows to the coil such that an axis line of the rotation shaft approaches the rotation center line due to a supporting force which is the electromagnetic force between the multiple permanent magnets and the coil. Accordingly, the rotation shaft is rotatably supported to be freely rotatable by a magnetic bearing and the bearing.

Electric motor, control device, and motor control system

A vehicle air conditioner includes a casing, a heater core that heats an air flow by heat exchange between the air flow and a heat medium, an electric heater that heats an air flow by an electric power, and a determiner that determines whether a temperature of the heat medium is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature. When the determiner determines that the temperature of the heat medium is equal to or lower than the predetermined temperature, an air flow introduced into a casing is heated by the electric heater and flows toward the vehicle interior without passing through the heater core.

Vehicle air conditioner

An air conditioner for a vehicle includes: a casing; an air blower; and a mode switching portion switching an inlet mode to draw air into the casing and an outlet mode to blow out air to the vehicle interior. The casing has a driver seat inlet port from which air in a space adjacent to a driver seat is drawn in. The mode switching portion is configured to be switchable between a normal mode during which air drawn in from at least one of air inlets is blown out from both of a driver seat outlet and a passenger seat outlet and a driver seat mode during which air drawn in from the driver seat inlet port is blown out from the driver seat outlet. The driver seat inlet port is located in a region exposed to the space adjacent to the driver seat.

Air conditioner for vehicle

A humidification device is used in a vehicle air conditioner having a cooler disposed in an air conditioning case. The air conditioning case has a ventilation path leading air into a vehicle compartment. The humidification device has an adsorber that absorbs and desorbs moisture, a blower, a door that opens or closes an air flow path, and a controller. The controller switches the air flow path by controlling the door to set (i) a dehumidification mode in which air cooled by the cooler is led to the adsorber, and moisture in the air is adsorbed by the adsorber or (ii) a humidification mode in which air is led to the adsorber, the moisture is moved from the adsorber to the air to humidify the air, and the humidified air is blown toward an occupant.

Humidification device

An air conditioning device includes a casing that provides multiple air passages, a blower fan that suctions an air from the multiple air passages and blows out the air in the casing, a suction side partitioning member that is disposed on a suction side of the blower fan in the casing and separates air flows from the multiple air passages from each other, and a blowing side partitioning member that is disposed on a blowing side of the blower fan in the casing and separates the air flows from the multiple air passages from each other. The suction side partitioning member and the blowing side partitioning member are disposed so that a relative position of the blowing side partitioning member to the suction side partitioning member is deviated in a rotation direction of the blower fan.

Air conditioning device

A humidification device includes: an adsorber having an adsorbent that adsorbs and desorbs moisture; an adsorption case that forms an accommodating space to accommodate the adsorber; a first introduction portion that introduces cooled air produced by a cooling portion into the adsorption case; a second introduction portion that introduces heated air produced by the heating portion into the adsorption case; and a humidification-side guiding portion that guides humidification air humidified by the moisture desorbed within the adsorption case, to the vehicle interior. The first introduction portion is connected to a bottom surface portion of the air-conditioning case on the air-flow downstream side of the cooling portion in the air-conditioning case.
