A nautical chart processing device is provided. The nautical chart processing device includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to receive position information indicating position of a pair of base points on an electronic chart, set a movable measurement point on a straight line connecting the pair of base points in real time, calculate, on the electronic chart, a distance between the movable measurement point and at least one base point of the pair of base points, and output position information of the movable measurement point and the calculated distance.

A route planning apparatus is provided for planning a navigation route of a ship. The route planning apparatus includes a display to display a chart on a screen; and an operation interface configured to designate a position in the screen. In addition, the route planning apparatus includes a storage configured to store one or more potential base points that may be a potential base point of a waypoint; a processing circuitry configured to: set a waypoint on the chart in response to a navigator's operation; extract the base points within a predetermined range of the set waypoint as a reference from the storage; and a determine the extracted potential base point to be the base point of the set waypoint.

Apparatus and method for route planning

A navigation device is provided, which may include an acquiring module and a route creating module. The acquiring module may acquire at least a departing location, a destination location and nautical chart information to be used for creating a traveling route for a ship. When a given navigable area is divided into a first navigable area and a second navigable area based on a given condition, the route creating module may create a route being shorter in total distance and taking priority in passing the first navigable area than the second navigable area, based on the departing location, the destination location, and the nautical chart information.

When an analyte is adsorbed to the ligand, the phase shift amount in the reflection may become larger than before attaching the analyte. As a result, a beam pattern of the light outputted from an outgoing part may change.

A radar system is provided. The system includes a radar transceiving device equipped in a movable body and for transmitting an electromagnetic wave at a first frequency, and a transponder device arranged in a beacon and for transmitting a response wave upon receiving the electromagnetic wave. The transponder device includes a response wave transmitting module for transmitting, when a radar classification of the radar transceiving device is a solid-state radar, a response wave at a second frequency different from the first frequency in response to receiving the transmitted electromagnetic wave. The radar transceiving device includes a transmitting module for transmitting the electromagnetic wave, a receiving module for receiving a radar echo at the first frequency and the response wave at the second frequency, and a display controlling module for displaying, on a predetermined radar display unit, locations of the beacon and another movable body existing around the movable body.
