A support stand includes a bracket and a base connected with the bracket. The bracket includes a main body, a movable member, and a resilient member. The main body defines a receiving slot therein, and the movable member is partially received in the receiving slot, with opposite ends of the resilient member resisting the main body and the movable member. The base includes a latching member sleeved on the main body of the bracket. The latching member includes a latching portion for impelling and guiding the movable member to be received in the receiving slot of the main body, and the movable member to contact the resilient member. After the movable member passes over the latching portion, an elastic force created by the resilient member extends the movable member from the receiving slot of the main body, and the movable member is latched in the base.

Support stand for flat-panel display monitor

A hinge assembly includes a pivot shaft, a first supporting member, a second supporting member, and a positioning member. The first supporting member is rotatably sleeved on the pivot shaft. A positioning protrusion is formed on the first supporting member. The second supporting member is non-rotatably sleeved on the pivot shaft. The positioning member has an elastic portion and is non-rotatably sleeved on the pivot shaft. A positioning groove receiving the positioning protrusion is defined in a periphery of the positioning member and adjacent to the elastic portion. An LCD device is further provided in the present disclose.

Hinge assembly

An adjustment module includes a frame, a sliding member, at least one coiled spring, a pair of guide rails, and a supporting member. The frame includes a main plate. The at least one coiled spring includes an extending portion and a sleeved coiled portion. The guide rails are positioned on opposite sides of the frame. The supporting member is fixed on the frame and has at least one supporting surface. The sliding member is slidably positioned between the guide rails. The coiled portion of the at least one coiled spring is positioned on the at least one supporting surface. An end of the extending portion of the at least one coiled spring is fixed on the sliding member, and an axis of the coiled portion of the at least one coiled spring is substantially perpendicular to the main plate.

Adjustment module

A hinge assembly includes a base, a joint member, a pintle, and a coiling spring. The joint member is rotatably connected to the base. The pintle runs through the base and the joint member. The coiling spring has a first end and a second end. The first end is fixed relative to the base, and the second end is fixed relative to the joint member.

A hinge assembly includes a pivot shaft, a rotary member and a steady member sleeved on the pivot shaft. The rotary member and the steady member faces each other and are rotatable relative to each other. The rotary member forms a first peak, and the steady member forms a second peak. A friction portion is formed between the rotary member and the steady member. A thickness of the friction portion exceeds or equals to a thickness of either of the first peak or the second peak, and is less than the combined thickness of the first peak and the second peak. A support mechanism using the hinge assembly is also provided.

An adjustable support mechanism () includes a fixed unit (), an adjustable suspension unit () and a connecting unit (). The adjustable suspension unit is slidably mounted on the fixed unit. The connecting unit is configured for connecting the fixed unit and the adjustable suspension unit. The connecting unit comprises a first elastic member () and an adjusting bracket (). Opposite ends of the first elastic member are connected to the fixed unit and the adjustable suspension unit correspondingly. The adjusting bracket includes two rotary wheels () and a coiling member () looped around the rotary wheels. The adjustable suspension unit is fixed to the coiling member. At least one of the rotary wheels is rotatable relative to the fixed unit to coil the coiling member around the rotary wheels, sliding the adjustable suspension unit relative to the fixed unit.

Adjustable support mechanism for display devices and support stand utilizing the same

An exemplary support stand for a flat-panel display monitor, includes a monitor bracket, a rotatable bracket for fixing the monitor bracket, an elevating support, a support member, and a hinge assembly. The elevating support includes a first link bracket, a second link bracket, a plurality of supporting blocks for connecting end portions of the first link bracket and the second link bracket. One end portion of the first link bracket define a first restricting groove and one end portion of the second link bracket defining a second restricting groove corresponding to the first restricting groove. One of the supporting blocks includes a restricting pole. The first and second restricting grooves are configured for blocking the restricting pole. A first end of the elevating support is fixed to the support member; and a second end of the elevating support connects to the rotatable bracket by the hinge assembly.

The main bracket forms at least two guide rails () including a first guide rail and a second guide rail disposed opposite to each other. The adjustable suspension member includes two crossed connected suspension frames (), at least two wheels () engaging the guide rails, and at least one stretching member (). The suspension frames are rotatably connected to each other. The at least two wheels are disposed at ends of the suspension frames. Two ends of each stretching member are connected to the suspension frames correspondingly. The elastic member has two ends fixed relative to the main bracket and the adjustable suspension member correspondingly.
