A method for making a conductive film of carbon nanotubes includes the steps of: a) preparing a carbon nanotube solution having a viscosity ranging from 1 to 50 c.p. at room temperature and containing a plurality of multi-walled carbon nanotubes; b) atomizing the carbon nanotube solution to form a plurality of atomized particles including the carbon nanotubes; c) providing a carrier gas to carry the atomized particles to a substrate disposed on a spin coating equipment; and d) spin coating the atomized particles on the substrate to form a conductive film of carbon nanotubes on a surface of the substrate.

Method for making a conductive film of carbon nanotubes

The present invention provides a method for fast dispersing carbon nanotubes in an aqueous solution. In this method, the carbon nanotubes are added into an aqueous solution of a nontoxic surfactant, and then dispersed therein through ultrasonic oscillation. This uniform dispersion can maintain high stability for at least two months without aggregation, suspension or precipitation. This dispersion is suitable for calibrating concentration of the carbon nanotubes.

CNT/polymer composite and method for producing the same

The present invention discloses a new type of electrodeless light sources, which can be achieved by radiating microwave on an inorganic carbide with electrical conductivity. The inorganic carbide can be carbon nanotubes (CNTs), or graphite-related fiber materials with well-order crystalline structure. The inorganic carbides of the present invention also emit high-brightness white light source in low vacuum condition (less than 10 torr) and induce plasma gas discharge emission in the presence of a trace of inert gas molecules such as nitrogen and argon. The electrodeless light source of the present invention not only emits high-brightness light emissions but also performs low thermal-radiation conversion.

Electrodeless light source from conducting inorganic carbide

The present invention discloses a microwave plasma generator which includes a chamber, a conductive inorganic substance, a trace gas and a microwave source. The conductive inorganic substance and the trace gas are housed in the chamber with an inner pressure about 0.001&#x2dc;10 torr. By irradiating the conductive inorganic substance and exciting the trace gas, clean and uniform plasma will be generated. The plasma generator of this invention is easily operated and can be applied to semiconductor manufacturing processes, for example, material modification, etching/cleaning, roughing and ion doping/hybrid.
