A stabilizer includes a stabilizer bar and a rubber bush. The stabilizer bar includes a bar body made of a steel and a coating film covering the bar body. The coating film is formed on the surface of the bar body by using a resin having a water contact angle of more than 65&#xb0;. By performing surface treatment for reducing the contact angle of the coating film present on an attachment part, the contact angle of the attachment part is changed to 65&#xb0; or less. A pre-cured liquid adhesive agent is applied to an inner surface (adhesion surface) of the rubber bush. After a region including the attachment part of the stabilizer bar is heated, the rubber bush is overlaid on the attachment part. The adhesive agent is cured in a state where the rubber bush is pressed.

Vehicle spring production method and vehicle spring

A stabilizer device includes a stabilizer extending in a width direction of a vehicle, and a bush unit. The bush unit includes a bracket formed of metal, and a rubber bush. The rubber bush is formed of a plurality of bush pieces, and is fixed to the stabilizer by an adhesion layer. The adhesion layer is constituted of an adhesion member including an adhesive applied to inner surfaces of the bush pieces. A bonding display portion formed of a part of the adhesion member is provided at a corner on an end face of the bush piece.

Vehicle stabilizer device

A lower-side spring receiving member is adapted to receive a compression spring provided with an effective part, end turn parts which do not elastically deform, and rising parts located between the effective part and the end turn parts, at a lower side of the compression spring. The lower-side spring receiving member is provided with a contact part which is formed to protrude outward from an end at one side in the extending direction thereof, and which is in contact with the rising part so as not to form a gap between the contact part and the rising part. The contact part is in contact with the rising part of the compression spring by an elastic force caused by elastic deformation, regardless of a load on the compression spring.

Lower-side spring-receiving member

A lower-side spring-receiving member of a suspension device, receiving a suspension spring structured to have a rising section at a lower side of the suspension spring, having a partially annular shape and including: a base end portion arranged at one end of the lower-side spring-receiving member wherein an end of the suspension spring is inserted into the base end portion; a slope portion arranged at the other end of the lower-side spring-receiving member and having a thickness in a cross-sectional view varying so as to follow a shape of the rising section of the suspension spring; and a holding portion that is arranged between the base end portion and the slope portion and holds the suspension spring, wherein the slope portion has a recess portion (Nk) formed on its bottom-surface; the recess portion includes a ridge portion is formed in a substantially mountain shape in a cross-sectional view taken along a radial direction of the partially annular shape and may be or may not be in contact with a mounting surface when no spring load of the suspension spring is applied.

An end turn portion of a coil spring includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The first portion is always in contact with a spring seat irrespective of the magnitude of a load applied to the coil spring. The second portion contacts the spring seat when the load applied to the coil spring is large, and is separated from the spring seat when the load is small. The third portion is always separated from the spring seat irrespective of the magnitude of the load. An insulating sheet made of a material having rubber elasticity is attached to a lower surface of a wire at the end turn portion by means of adhesive bonding. The insulating sheet is provided on a lower surface of a region including at least the second portion.

Suspension coil spring

In a method of manufacturing a hollow stabilizer, a pipe compressing step of compressing an electroseamed pipe in a temperature range of a hot state or a warm state so as to make a rate of a thickness with respect to an outer diameter between 18 and 35% is performed, and a forming step of forming the compressed electroseamed pipe in a stabilizer shape in a cold state is executed. Next, a step of applying a heat treatment to a half-finished stabilizer is performed, a shot peening step of impacting a shot on the half-finished stabilizer is performed, and a step of coating the half-finished stabilizer is performed.

Hollow stabilizer and method of manufacturing the same

A stabilizer for vehicles has a torsion portion extending in a width direction of a vehicle, arm portions extending in a forward or backward direction from both side end portions of the torsion portion, straight portions provided in a vicinity of both side end portions of the torsion portion, the straight portions extending along with an axial direction thereof, leading end portions of the arm portions, the leading end portions of the arm portions being mounted to the vehicle, and the straight portions being mounted to the vehicle via bushes, and a stopper provided at one of the straight portions, the stopper preventing the straight portions from moving more than a predetermined distance in an axial direction with respect to the bush.

Stabilizer for vehicle and method for mounting the same

A hollow stabilizer made of a steel pipe, comprises: a torsion portion extending in a width direction of a vehicle body; a pair of right and left arm portions positioned at both end sides of the torsion portion; and a plurality of curved portions which are bent in an arc shape in any of the torsion portion, the arm portions and portions therebetween. Bending radii of the plurality of curved portions are different from each other.
