A connection terminal for a power module, includes a conductive wire that is wound to form the connection terminal. The conductive wire includes an insertion part, at least a part of which is closely wound and to be inserted into a hollow part of a holding member of the power module, and includes a press-fitting part having a diameter larger than a diameter of the hollow part, a rough winding part in which the wire is wound at a predetermined interval, and a contact part for coming into contact with an external circuit, the contact pert being provided at an end part of the rough winding part on a side different from the end part on a side of the insertion part.

The first corner portion elastically deforms in application of load such that the angle of the first corner portion changes depending on the pressing force from the first member. In this case, the first corner portion can move toward the outside of the inner periphery portion of the main body portion while the angle changes. The second corner portion has the same function as that of the first corner portion, and it can move toward the outside of the outer periphery portion of the main body portion while the angle changes depending on the pressing force from the second member in the elastic deformation of the second corner portion. As a result, the spring can prevent generation of hysteresis in load characteristics without increasing the number of parts, and enables height adjustment of the spring.

Spring

A valve spring device is provided with a first coil spring and a second coil spring combined in series with each other. The inside diameter (coil inside diameter) of the second coil spring is greater than the outside diameter (coil outside diameter) of the first coil spring. A part of the first coil spring including an end portion along an axis is inserted into the second coil spring, thereby forming a combined spring. The end portion of the first coil spring and an end portion of the second coil spring are connected to each other by a connecting member. The first and second coil springs are compressed along the axis as they are located in series between a cylinder head and a retainer. A shaft of a valve is passed within the coil springs.

Valve spring device and valve train of engine using the same

A joining component is joined to a joint component. The joining component includes an insertion hole and two fitting holes. The joint component includes a fusible shaft at a position corresponding to the insertion hole and two protrusions at positions corresponding to the fitting holes. The joining component is placed on the joint component such that the fusible shaft is inserted into the insertion hole, and the protrusions fit into the fitting holes. The fusible shaft is then fused by using ultrasonic vibrations.

Joint structure and joining method

A port is formed in a cylinder head of an engine. The port is opened and closed by a valve. A valve spring device is provided with a first spring and a second spring. The second spring is contained in a housing and held by a stopper in a manner such that it is compressed along an axis or subjected to a preload. The preload of the second spring is larger than an installation load of the first spring. An axial load acts on the springs. The valve spring device has load-deflection characteristics such that only the first spring deforms axially when the axial load is not larger than a predetermined value and that both the first and second springs deform axially when the axial is load exceeds the predetermined value.

Valve spring device and valve train of internal combustion engine using the same

A conductive contact unit includes a conductive contact holder, a conductive contact, and an aligning unit. The conductive contact holder includes a first guiding grooves and a second guiding groove opposite to the first guiding groove, each slidably engaging one edge of the conductive contact. The conductive contact has a plate-like shape, and includes a first contacting element and a second contacting element that are brought into contact with different circuitries, a resilient element that is expandable and contractible in a longitudinal direction between the first contacting element and the second contacting element, a first connecting element that connects the resilient element and the first contacting element, and a second connecting element that connects the resilient element and the second contacting element. The aligning unit aligns the conductive contacts.

Conductive contact unit

A conductive contact includes a first contacting element that is brought into contact with one of different circuitries; a second contacting element that is brought into contact with another one of the different circuitries; a resilient element that is interposed between the first contacting element and the second contacting element to be expandable and contractible in a longitudinal direction; a first connecting element that connects the resilient element and the first contacting element; and a second connecting element that connects the resilient element and the second contacting element, and has an opening penetrating therethrough in a through-thickness direction. At least a portion of the resilient element is shorter than the first connecting element and the second connecting element in a width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the through-thickness direction.

Conductive contact and conductive contact unit

A conductive contact unit includes plate-like conductive contacts for electrically connecting different circuitries. Each conductive contact includes a first contacting element to be brought in physical contact with one circuitry, a second contacting element to be brought in physical contact with another circuitry, an elastic element, between the first contacting element and the second contacting element, a first connecting element that connects the elastic element and the first contacting element, and a second connecting element that connects the elastic element and the second contacting element and that has an opening. The conductive contact unit also includes a conductive contact holder including first guiding grooves and second guiding grooves facing the first guiding grooves. The conductive contact holder holds the conductive contacts with both longitudinal outside ends of each conductive contact being slidably engaged with the first and the second guiding grooves.

Conductive contact unit and conductive contact

A conductive contact unit establishes an electrical connection between different circuitries, and includes a plurality of conductive contacts that receive and output an electrical signal from and to the circuitries, respectively. The conductive contact unit includes a conductive contact holder that accommodates and holds the conductive contacts, and a vibration applying unit that applies vibration to the conductive contact holder.

An actuator includes a blade spring of which one end is fixed to a fixed member and other end is fixed to a movable member. A driving unit moves the movable member. A position detector detects a distance to a flat portion of the blade spring, and a calculating unit calculates an amount of displacement of the movable member based on the distance detected by the position detector.

Actuator and object detecting apparatus that uses actuator using distance detection

Provided is an actuator for scanning detecting light, comprising an optical element for emitting detecting light, a moveable part supporting the optical element, a sheet spring having a fixed end and a moveable end supporting the moveable part; and drive means for driving the moveable part so as to scan the detecting light. Thus, a spring-mass system is formed in which the moveable part retaining the optical device acts as the mass, and the first order resonant frequency of the system may be selected so as to be higher than the operating frequency (scanning frequency). A bearing for a sliding part is not required, and the resistance loss can be thereby eliminated. These factors contribute to a favorable responsiveness. Also, by properly designing the sheet spring, a lighter and more compact design is enabled than would be possible with the conventional arrangement. A plurality of drive force generating units disposed on either side of the optical element in such a manner that the combined force of the drive force produced by the drive force generating units acts substantially onto the gravitational center of the moveable part. Thus, the drive efficiency can be improved while saving energy and achieving a high level of responsiveness.

Actuator for scanning detecting light

A resilient support member,is provided between a lens holder,and a base member,to resiliently support the lens retainer,with respect to the base member,. A pair of auxiliary damping members,and,extend along the length of the resilient support member,, and a viscoelastic material piece,is provided between the two auxiliary damping members so as to connect them to each other. Various modes of connection can be achieved, and the freedom in the tuning of the damping effect is increased for reducing spurious resonant vibrations so that an adequate damping effect can be achieved. Because the part to which the viscoelastic material is to be applied is placed in a wide space remote from the lens retainer and the base member, the work of applying the viscoelastic material is simplified.
