A first display region for displaying an optical image of an object and a second display region for displaying information are provided for a finder device. The first display region and the second display region can be observed at the same time through an eyepiece window. On the second display region, an electric image that is photoelectrically converted by an image pickup element is displayed. That reduces failures to take a shutter chance and enables a state of the captured image and auxiliary information to be checked.

At least one exemplary embodiment is directed to an electronic apparatus includes a switch contact and a control unit. The switch contact is constituted of a fixed contact and a movable contact. The fixed contact includes a plurality of detection contacts and a common contact. The movable contact can be moved to a contact/noncontact state. The control unit detects a signal generated when all of the contacts in the fixed contact are simultaneously made conductive by contact of the movable contact.

A compact and inexpensive camera is provided, in which an illuminating unit for illuminating finder indices is arranged so as not to interfere with a quick-return reflecting mirror nor interfere with a built-in electronic flash device. A finder optical system has a focusing screen provided therein, which has at least one finder index formed thereon. A reflecting mirror is disposed to make upward and downward movements in a flipping motion area between a reflecting position where the reflecting mirror reflects and guides a photographic light beam to the finder optical system, and a shooting position where the reflecting mirror recedes from a photographic light path. An illuminating unit illuminates the at least one finder index formed on the focusing screen to display the at least one finder index in superposition on a finder image formed by the photographic light beam. The illuminating unit is arranged at a lateral side of the flipping motion area of the reflecting mirror. Illuminating light from the illuminating unit is reflected by the reflecting mirror located in the reflecting position to illuminate the at least one finder index.

There is disclosed a superimpose device for a single-lens reflex camera, which has a finder optical system including a focusing screen, a pentagonal roof type prism, and an eyepiece lens, a reflection plate which is arranged near the prospective imaging plane the finder optical system, and has micro-prisms forming a display portion, a plurality of light sources arranged near the vertex of the prism, and a projection optical element for deflecting illumination light from each light source by a reflection surface, and projecting the deflected light toward a front upper portion of the prism. The display portion illuminated with the illumination light via the prism, and light reflected by the display portion is guided to the eyepiece lens.

A device for electrically connecting first and second members movable relative to each other, includes a flexible printed circuit board located between the first and second relatively movable members. The flexible printed circuit board has a first side piece and second side piece divided by a cutout made in the flexible printed circuit board. One of the first and second side pieces is bent about 180.degree. in the direction of the relative movement of the first and second members to form a turned 'U' shaped portion. The first side piece has its free end portion fixed to the first member and the second side piece has its free end portion fixed to the second member, so that the displacement of the printed circuit board resulting from the relative movement of the first and second members is absorbed by movement of the 'U' shaped portion.

A flexible circuit board including a substrate having at least electrically conducting patterns and electrically insulating cover layers formed on both sides thereof. A number of apertures are formed along a line in a zone at which the board is to be curved. In this zone, areas between two successive apertures having conducting patterns on the front surface do not have conducting patterns on the back surface, and further, the cover layer is applied only to the surface of the areas on which conducting patterns are formed, while the opposite surface having no patterns formed thereon is absent the cover layer.

The present invention relates to a camera having circuit elements arranged by using flexible printed circuit boards. In particular, three or more flexible printed circuit boards on respective different faces of a framework of the camera are provided each with an extension bent to common face contiguous to but oriented at right angles with the board bearing faces. The bent extensions are superimposed one upon another when the electrical connection of all the printed circuit boards is established in one step of assembling operation.
