A rotating electrical machine such that a power supply unit can be efficiently cooled, with no increase in size in an axial direction of the rotating electrical machine, is provided. A rotating electrical machine main body and a power supply unit are integrally fixed, and a refrigerant passage is provided on the rotating electrical machine main body side of a metal frame configuring the power supply unit. The refrigerant passage and a control part that controls power supplied to the rotating electrical machine main body are disposed in the same plane in an axial direction of the rotating electrical machine main body, and the refrigerant passage is disposed farther to a radial direction outer side of the rotating electrical machine main body than the control part.

Rotating electrical machine including a refrigerant passage

An isolated converter reduced in size compared with a conventional isolated converter and having a high heat dissipation characteristic is provided. The isolated converter includes a multilayer substrate having a first through hole and a magnetic core partially passing through the first through hole. The multilayer substrate includes a first conductor pattern formed at a position overlapping the magnetic core on a second surface when viewed from a direction orthogonal to a first surface, a second conductor pattern formed between the first surface and the second surface at a position overlapping the magnetic core and the first conductor pattern when viewed from the direction orthogonal to the first surface, at least one thermal conductive member formed on the first conductor pattern and having a portion disposed between the multilayer substrate and the magnetic core, and an electric insulating layer electrically insulating the first conductor pattern from the second conductor pattern.

Isolated converter

A rotating-electric-machine main body and an electric-power supply unit are integrally fixed to each other, the smoothing capacitor provided in the electric-power supply unit is disposed in such a way as to be cooled by cooling air flowing from the outside of a housing of the rotating-electric-machine main body to an air inlet provided in the housing.

Rotating electric machine

A power converter includes a magnetic core, a plurality of windings, a plurality of metal sidewalls, a first insulating member, and a second insulating member. The plurality of windings are each wound around the magnetic core and bent to have a portion extending in a direction in which the magnetic core extends. The plurality of metal sidewalls are disposed outside the plurality of windings and extend in the direction in which the magnetic core extends. The first insulating member is disposed between the plurality of windings and between the windings and the magnetic core. The second insulating member is disposed on an outside of the plurality of windings and in contact with each of the plurality of sidewalls and each of the plurality of windings. The second insulating member has a thermal conductivity higher than a thermal conductivity of the first insulating member.

Power converter

A circuit device and a power converter include a core, a coil surrounding at least a part of the core, and a first heat transfer member being in surface contact with the core. A temperature rise of the core can thus be prevented or reduced.

Circuit device and power converter

A power converter includes a magnetic core and a plurality of windings. The plurality of windings are each wound around the magnetic core and bent to have a portion extending in the direction in which the magnetic core extends. Each of the plurality of windings is bent to include a region located farthest out from the magnetic core among all of the plurality of windings.

Provided is a small-sized power semiconductor device in which interference between power modules adjacently disposed is prevented and the areas of the gaps occurring between the power modules are reduced. In a power semiconductor device formed by adjacently disposing power modules in an arc shape on a heat sink, each of which power modules is obtained by sealing, with a mold resin, a switchable power semiconductor chip, a lead frame in which potential leads and signal terminals connected to the power semiconductor chip are formed, and a metallic inner lead electrically connecting an upper surface electrode of the power semiconductor chip and the lead frame, any one of the adjacent power modules is formed in a pentagonal shape having, at a portion adjacent to the other power module, an oblique sideobtained by cutting out one corner of a quadrangle.

Power semiconductor device and power module

To obtain a compact and high output power conversion device by achieving high heat dispersion performance and a reduction in heat generation, and enabling an efficient arrangement of power modules of three-phase circuits, four switchable power semiconductor chips of each of the power modules are arranged so that two pairs of circuits for one phase connected in series are connected in parallel to form a circuit for two phases, the lead frame includes two positive potential leads, two AC potential leads, and one negative potential lead that are separated from each other, the four switchable power semiconductor chips are individually arranged on four leads of the two positive potential leads and the two AC potential leads, the two positive potential leads each have an end portion connected to a bus bar via a welding point individually provided for each phase, and the bus bar is provided in common.

Power conversion device

In a rotary electric machine, a power supply unit includes a metal casing, a power circuit unit mounted in the metal casing, and a control board for controlling an operation of the power circuit unit, and supplies power to a motor main body. The power circuit unit includes a plurality of power semiconductor components and a capacitor unit. The plurality of power semiconductor components and the capacitor unit are disposed alternately on a plane perpendicular to a rotary shaft of the motor main body.
