The present disclosure relates to large cell sheets, solar cells, shingled solar modules, and manufacturing method thereof. A top surface of a boundary portion of units of the large cell sheet is divided into a cutting area, top surface bonding areas and top surface electrically-conductive contact areas. The cutting area is configured in a way that the large cell sheet can be cut along the cutting area; the top surface bonding areas and the top surface electrically-conductive contact areas are provided alternately, the cutting area and the top surface electrically-conductive contact areas are formed as an overlapping edge of the solar cell, and after the splitting of the large cell sheet, the top surface electrically-conductive contact areas can directly contact the bottom surface of another solar cell to achieve electrically-conductive connection. The large cell sheet according to the present disclosure can be split conveniently, and the individual solar cells are provided with dedicated bonding areas and electrically-conductive contact areas. Such an arrangement can optimize the production process and use performance of the solar cells.

The present disclosure relates to solar cells for a shingled solar cell module, a shingled solar cell module, and a method of making solar cells for the shingled solar cell module. Said solar cell has a front side and a back side, a plurality of front side busbars being arranged on the front side, a plurality of back side busbars being arranged on the back side, the solar cell comprising a plurality of sections, each section comprising a front side busbar and a back side busbar located at edges thereof, the front side busbar of at least one section of the solar cell having an extension at one end or both ends, the extension extending along another edge of said at least one section intersecting with the above-mentioned edges. The shingled solar cell module is fabricated from solar cell strips split from the solar cell.

The present disclosure provides a method and system for manufacturing solar cells and shingled solar cell modules. The method as provided by the present disclosure includes performing scribing and dividing of the solar cells, sorting the obtained solar cell strips, and packaging the cell strips in the solar cell manufacturing process. The solar cell strips can be assembled directly after dismantling the package in the solar module manufacturing process. Therefore, the method can accomplish a smooth flow of manufacturing solar cells and shingled solar cell modules, reduce repeated processing steps, lower the risk of cracking and costs thereof, and optimize the current matching and the color consistency of the cell strips in the shingled solar cell modules.

An internal protection circuit structure of a photovoltaic module, which includes a plurality of solar cells including a first column, a second column, a third column, a fourth column, a fifth column, and a sixth column sequentially. Positive and negative electrodes of each column of the solar cells are sequentially connected in series to form a substring of the solar cell. The upper ends of the second column and the third column are connected to each other with a first diode connected in series to be pulled out as an outgoing terminal. The present invention uses a manner in which substrings are connected first in series and later in parallel, with four bypass diodes connected in the circuit. As such, the actual utilization ratio of the solar cell is improved.
