The invention aims to provide a rotation tool enabling work without obstructing a view of an operator and facilitating fine-adjustment for the tool. A rotation tool includes a flexible shaft including a tool portion at one end and a grip portion at the other end; and a cylindrical exterior body including curved portion on at least a part thereof, wherein a spiral protrusion is formed on at least a part of the shaft and a spiral groove is formed on at least a part of the curved portion, and the shaft is configured to be movable inside the exterior body by screwing the spiral protrusion and the spiral groove to each other.

Rotation tool

An electronic apparatus is configured to generate a variety of vibrations corresponding to a variety of different situations without excessively high power consumption. The electronic apparatus has first and second vibration motors having respective eccentric weights different in weight from each other for generating different first and second vibrations. An input/output section enables a user to select from a list of events stored in a storage section first events and second events. A controller drives the first vibration motor having a heavier weight with a strong vibration upon occurrence of the user-selected first events and drives the second vibration motor having a lighter weight with a weak vibration upon occurrence of the user-selected second events. The first events include an incoming phone call or email, a present alarm time, and a dynamic or important action, motion, and so on in a computer game. The second events include confirming input operations by the user, and a minute action, motion, and so on occurring in a computer game. The correspondence between the vibration motors and the events is selectable by the user.

Vibration generation device and electronic apparatus

A power generator has a power generation unit for generating electric power, a rotary unit and a power transmission unit. The power generation unit includes a stator having a stator core and a rotor disposed in the stator. The rotor has a rotor shaft and a driven gear disposed on the rotor shaft and is configured to be driven to rotate the rotor shaft. The rotary unit has a driving gear for undergoing rotational movement to rotate the rotor shaft via the driven gear to generate electric power. The power transmission unit has an intermediate gear for transmitting a rotational force of the driving gear of the rotary unit to the driven gear of the rotor shaft. The intermediate gear has at least one rotary shaft disposed inside of the stator core.

Small power generator and portable electronic apparatus

A pump comprises a first substrate having a fluid inlet port for receiving a fluid, a fluid outlet port for discharging the fluid, a first pumping section for pumping the fluid from the fluid inlet port to the fluid outlet port, a first inlet valve section disposed between the fluid inlet port and the first pumping section, and a first outlet valve section disposed between the fluid outlet port and the first pumping section. A second substrate has a second pumping section, a second inlet valve section, and a second outlet valve section. An intermediate substrate is disposed between the first and second substrates to form a first fluid feeding path and a second fluid feeding path for feeding the fluid pumped by the first and second pumping sections. The first fluid feeding path extends from the first inlet valve section to the first outlet valve section through the first pumping section. The second fluid feeding path extends from the second inlet valve section to the second outlet valve section through the second pumping section. The intermediate substrate has a first connection port connecting the first and second inlet valve sections in fluid communication with the fluid inlet port and a second connection port connecting the first and second outlet valve sections in fluid communication with the fluid outlet port.

Pump and method of driving the same

A micropump comprises a first substrate, a pumping section formed in the first substrate, a second substrate connected to the first substrate and having an inlet port and an outlet port, and at least two valve sections formed in the first substrate for controlling the flow of fluid from the inlet port to the outlet port through the pumping section. The pumping section has a piezoelectric element and a diaphragm for undergoing deformation upon application of a voltage to the piezoelectric element to control the flow of fluid into and out of the pumping section. Each of the valve sections has a piezoelectric element and a diaphragm for undergoing deformation upon application of a voltage to the piezoelectric element. A flow passage is formed in the first substrate for connecting the pumping section and the valve sections in fluid communication. A plurality of packing members are each disposed between a respective diaphragm of the valve sections and the second substrate for blocking the flow of fluid when no voltage is applied to the piezoelectric: elements of the valve sections. The packing members are operative to permit the flow of fluid through the valve sections when a voltage is applied to the piezoelectric elements of the valve sections to cause the diaphragms of the valve sections to undergo deformation and form a gap between each of the packing members and the second substrate or between each of the packing members and a respective diaphragm of the valve sections.
