An electric toothbrush includes an inner case, made up of an inner case main body and a motor holder, mounted with various components including a motor; an outer case which interiorly accommodates the inner case and which acts as a portion the user grips with hand when brushing teeth; an eccentric shaft, configured by a shaft main body and an eccentric member, which center of gravity is arranged at a position shifted from a shaft center and which rotates by a drive force of the motor; and a vibration transmitting component for transmitting the vibration generated with the rotation of the eccentric shaft to a brush portion; where the vibration transmitting component is positioned with respect to the outer case by point contacting the inner wall surface of the outer case at a plurality of locations.

Electric toothbrush

There is provided an electric toothbrush with which teeth can be brushed in a relaxed pose while imperfect brushing is suppressed. In an electric toothbrush including: a body portion that is gripped by a hand during toothbrushing; and a brush component serving as an intraoral insertion portion inserted in a mouth cavity during the toothbrushing, the brush component including a brush at a leading end thereof, the brush component is inclined onto a rear surface side of the brush from the leading end toward the body portion, and a leading end portion of the brush component is located in a vicinity of an extended line (alternate long and short dash line) of a virtual line that connects centroids of sectional shapes perpendicular to a longitudinal direction in the body portion.

The invention provides an electric toothbrush capable of changing a resonant frequency and vibration amplitude of an eccentric shaft. An electric toothbrush of the present invention includes a motor, an eccentric shaft with one end fixed to a rotation shaft of the motor, and a stemserving as a vibration transmitting component having a bearing for supporting the other end of the eccentric shaft for transmitting vibration generated in accordance with rotation of the eccentric shaft to a brush portion. In the electric toothbrush, the eccentric shaft is formed so that a gravity center position is movable at least in one direction among a direction in which a distance to a shaft center is changed and an axial direction.

An electric toothbrush capable of suppressing loss of vibration energy while suppressing the vibration of the portion a user grips with hand is provided. In an electric toothbrush including an inner case, made up of an inner case main body and a motor holder, mounted with various components including a motor; an outer case which interiorly accommodates the inner case and which acts as a portion the user grips with hand when brushing teeth; an eccentric shaft, configured by a shaft main body and an eccentric member, which center of gravity is arranged at a position shifted from a shaft center and which rotates by a drive force of the motor; and a vibration transmitting component for transmitting the vibration generated with the rotation of the eccentric shaft to a brush portion; where the vibration transmitting component is positioned with respect to the outer case by point contacting the inner wall surface of the outer case at a plurality of locations.

An electric toothbrush includes a driving source, a vibrating member having a brush, a transmission mechanism for converting output of the driving source into vibration of the vibrating member, and control means for controlling output of the driving source. The control means has a plurality of operation modes for allowing the brush to perform a predetermined operation. The plurality of control modes are switched at high speed to allow brushing using a transient state at a time of operation mode switching. It is suitable to switch at high speed between operation modes using two resonance points in which resonance occurs in different directions. Accordingly, the electric toothbrush is improved in plaque removing power and sense of medical treatment.

An electric toothbrush includes a driving source; a vibrating member having a brush; a transmission mechanism which converts an output of the driving source into vibration of the vibrating member; and a control unit that controls the output of the driving source. The vibrating member has a first resonance point in which the brush resonates in a first direction, and a second resonance point in which the brush resonates in a second direction; and the control unit has a first operation mode which controls the output of the driving source so that a resonance in the first direction is generated, and a second operation mode which controls the output of the driving source so that a resonance in the second direction is generated.

In a CT image of a living body, contours of internal organs thereof are discriminated. Parameters are beforehand stored in a memory for a plurality of internal organs of the living body. Applicators are attached onto the living body and then a high frequency power is applied to electrodes disposed therein so as to heat an internal portion of the body. Based on an intensity of an electric field generated in the body due to the applied power and the parameters stored in the memory, a temperature distribution on the CT image is estimated. To retain an estimated temperature of an objective tumor at a predetermined target temperature, the high frequency power and the cooling water in the applicators are controlled. In the estimation of the temperature distribution, the parameters of the living body are repeatedly corrected to minimize a discrepancy between a temperature measured at a preset position and an estimated temperature associated therewith.

In an electrode structure for a high frequency hyperthermia device, an electrode unit incorporating an electrode is provided at the front end of a supporting arm, and an inflatable insulated bag is provided on one side of the electrode unit, whereby the electrode unit is snugly brought into contact with the diseased part as the bag is inflated, and a cooling solution containing bag is detachably mounted on the other side of the electrode unit, whereby the solution containing bag can be readily replaced with a new one when broken, and the solution containing bag most suitable for treatment of the diseased part can be readily engaged with the electrode unit.

A high frequency heat therapy system, comprising: an applicator equipped with an electrode and a bolus bag; a high frequency generator unit for generating high frequency electric current that is to be applied to the electrode; a therapeutic table for adjustably supporting a patient; an applicator support unit for adjustably applying the applicator to the patient; a therapeutic data input unit for specifying therapeutic data including those related to positioning of the therapeutic table and the applicator support unit; a therapeutic data storage unit for storing therapeutic data including the data on positioning of the therapeutic table and the applicator; a drive control unit for drivingly controlling the therapeutic table and the applicator support unit according to the data on positioning of the therapeutic table and the applicator stored in the storage unit; and a central control unit for transmitting data stored in the therapeutic data storage unit and, if any, the therapeutic data specified by the therapeutic data input mean to the drive control unit. A high level of reproducibility can be achieved and the contributions of various therapeutic data can be evaluated in a rational way.

High frequency heat therapy system

The disclosed electrode device for high frequency thermotherapy apparatus comprises a base member; a cavity-inserted cylindrical body removably fixed to the base member and inserted into a cavity of a living body; a separator fixed to the base member and arranged in the cylindrical body, for partitioning a space within the cylindrical body into two; an electrode arranged at an end of the separator; and in particular a circulation passage for a cooling liquid being formed extending from a going path, through an end space, to a return path within the cylindrical body. Therefore, the surface of the living body in contact with the cylindrical body can be efficiently cooled by circulating a cooling liquid therethrough to protect the surface of the living body from being heated excessively. Further, the cavity-inserted cylindrical body can be replaced or removed for washing to realize a sanitary medical treatment.
