An artificial neural network (ANN) system includes a processor, a virtual overflow detection circuit and a data format controller. The processor performs node operations with respect to a plurality of nodes included in each layer of an ANN to obtain a plurality of result values of the node operations and performs a quantization operation on the obtained plurality of result values based on a k-th fixed-point format for a current quantization of the each layer to obtain a plurality of quantization values. The virtual overflow detection circuit generates a virtual overflow information indicating a distribution of valid bit numbers of the obtained plurality of quantization values. The data format controller determines a (k+1)-th fixed-point format for a next quantization of the each layer based on the generated virtual overflow information. An overflow and/or an underflow are prevented efficiently by controlling the fixed-point format using the virtual overflow.

Disclosed is an electric vehicle, a battery charging station, and an electric vehicle battery exchange reservation system including the same. The electric vehicle includes a power level detection unit adapted to detect a power level of a battery mounted on the electric vehicle; a communication unit adapted to communicate with a battery charging station; and a control unit adapted to determine a battery charging station, in which the battery of the electric vehicle is to be exchanged, based on the power level of the battery and a route of travel of the electric vehicle and transmit a battery exchange reservation command to the determined battery charging station. Based on the battery power level of the electric vehicle, a battery charging station existing along the route of travel is requested to provide battery information, and battery exchange is reserved accordingly, so that batteries can be exchanged more efficiently and conveniently.

Disclosed is an electric vehicle battery attaching/detaching device including a battery mounting unit formed on an electric vehicle to detachably mount a battery and provided with a connector pin module adapted to be lifted/lowered by a lifting/lowering means; a loader having a plurality of battery stands, each battery stand being adapted to detachably mount a fully-charged battery to be exchanged with the battery mounted on the battery mounting unit; and a battery attaching/detaching unit adapted to move along X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis between the battery mounting unit and the battery stand by means of a movement device, detach a battery mounted on the battery mounting unit or the battery stand, and exchange/mount the battery on the battery stand or the battery mounting unit.

A patch antenna for receiving high frequency wireless signal and a rectenna using the same, more particularly, an impedance-matched patch antenna adopting a slot capacitive coupling structure and a rectenna capable of generating electrical energy from the wireless signals having different frequency band. An electricity charging module using a hysteresis switch includes a storage capacitor that preliminarily stores electrical energy supplied from an external power source, a charging unit for preventing over-charging or over-discharging through monitoring of the charging state of the rechargeable battery, and a hysteresis switch that has a larger turn-on voltage level than the turn-off voltage level, and located between the storage capacitor and the charging unit, thereby electrically connecting or disconnecting the storage capacitor with the charging unit. The hysteresis switch includes a first voltage dividing resistor pair that divides the voltage of an external power source by the resistance ratio of the first voltage dividing resistor pair, a second voltage dividing resistor pair whose one end is connected to a positive electrode terminal of the external power source, a first switching device whose control terminal is connected to the junction of the voltage dividing resistors of the second voltage dividing resistor pair, a second switching device whose control terminal is connected to the junction of the voltage dividing resistors of the first voltage dividing resistor pair, and a resistor that is connected to the junction between the first electrode terminal of the second switching device and the junction of the voltage dividing resistors of the first voltage dividing resistor pair.

Hysteresis switch and electricity charging module using the same

Disclosed is a high frequency omni-directional 2-way power divider which includes one input terminal and two output terminals so that a signal inputted through the input terminal is uniformly distributed to the two output terminals. The high frequency omni-directional 2-way power divider includes: a first Wilkinson regular divider including one input terminal and first and second output terminals; a second Wilkinson regular divider including one input terminal and third and fourth output terminals, the third output terminal being connected to the first output terminal of the first Wilkinson regular divider; and a third Wilkinson regular divider including one input terminal and fifth and sixth output terminals, the fifth output terminal being connected to the second output terminal of the second Wilkinson regular divider and the sixth output terminal being connected to the fourth output terminal of the second Wilkinson regular divider, wherein, when one of the three input terminals contained in the first to the third Wilkinson regular divider is used as the input terminal of the 2-way power divider, other two input terminals are used as output terminals, to which power is uniformly distributed.
