An audio signal coding device divides a frequency spectrum obtained from an input digital signal to a plurality of bands, scales and quantizes divided frequency spectra based on a scalefactor of each of the bands and a common scale which is common to the plurality of bands, and codes quantized frequency spectra. The audio signal coding device includes a band number determination unit configured to calculate a number of coding bands for coding the quantized frequency spectra, and a common scale estimation unit configured to estimate the common scale in accordance with the number of coding bands.

An audio signal encoding device includes: a window determination unit for determining the type of window of each channel; a correction unit for correcting the number of available bits; and a quantization unit for quantizing the audio signal of each channel sequentially so that the number of bits is equal to or less than the corrected number of available bits while adding the number of bits left unused, and the correction unit includes: a use rate history calculation unit for calculating a bit use rate in quantization of each type of window; and a corrected bit number calculation unit for correcting the number of available bits so that the rate of used bits to the number of available bits of each channel on the assumption that quantization is performed with the calculated bit use rate in quantization approaches the same.

A liquid trap device for a gas is provided which includes a trap housing () that is formed from a ceiling wall (), a bottom wall () and a peripheral wall (), the ceiling wall () having provided therein a gas inlet port () and a gas outlet port (), and a filter element () that is retained between the ceiling wall () and the bottom wall (), the interior of the filter element () communicating with the gas inlet port () and the outer peripheral face of the filter element () communicating with the gas outlet port () via an internal space () of the trap housing (), wherein the trap housing () is formed as a shape that in plan view is long along one laterally central line (X), and the filter element () and an outlet port upstream portion (), opening within the trap housing (), of the gas outlet port () are disposed in proximity to first and second side wall portions () respectively of the peripheral wall () facing each other on the laterally central line (X). This enables a liquid trap device for a gas to be provided in which a sufficient lateral distance from a filter element to a gas outlet can be guaranteed while having small dimensions and the performance in capturing a liquid can be enhanced.
