There are provided a heater with temperature detecting device capable of accurately detecting the temperature of a laminated sheet heater (the temperature of a heater element) by a temperature detecting device, a battery structure provided with this heater with temperature detecting device, and a heater unit. A first heater with temperature detecting device includes a first laminated sheet heater and a temperature detecting device. In this first heater, a first metal sheet includes a part protruding outward in a lamination direction of a laminated heater to provide at least part of an accommodation space in which the temperature detecting device is accommodated.

Heater with temperature detecting device, battery structure with heater, and heater unit

A heater with temperature detecting device, arranged to accurately detect the temperature of a laminated sheet heater over long periods, and a battery structure including the same. A first embodiment includes a laminated sheet heater and a temperature sensor having a temperature measuring portion. The laminated sheet heater includes first and second insulating resin films, a heater element, a first metal sheet, and a second metal sheet and includes a heater metallic section in which, any one of only the first metal sheet and only a combination of the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet is arranged in a lamination layering direction of the laminated sheet heater. The temperature sensor is fastened to the heater metallic section with a flat rivet and fixed to an outer surface of the first metal sheet with the temperature measuring portion in contact with the first metal sheet.

Heater with temperature detecting device and battery structure with the heater

A system for cooling a battery mounted on a vehicle using air within a vehicle, independently of the travelling state of the vehicle. The air within a vehicle compartment is guided to a battery mounted on a vehicle to cool the battery. A controller determines a basic fan speed v of the cooling fan based on a battery temperature and an ambient temperature. Further, the controller calculates an increment &#x394;v of the fan speed in accordance with the vehicle speed and the degree of window opening and determines a final fan speed V according to V=v+&#x394;v, to drive the cooling fan. By controlling the fan speed to increase, it is possible to cool the battery even when the base pressure of the inlet-side static pressure of the cooling fan becomes negative pressure compared to when the windows are closed.

Battery cooling system for vehicle

A battery pack apparatus including at least one battery assembly, a plurality of medium feeding parts for adjusting temperatures of the battery assembly, at least one temperature detector, a storage unit, and a controller. The storage unit stores a relation between a temperature of the battery assembly and a revolution level of the medium feeding parts. The controller reads out a revolution level corresponding to the detected temperature of the battery assembly from the storage unit, and allocates the revolution level to the medium feeding parts. The controller changes the value of the revolution levels allocated to the respective medium feeding parts based on the allocated revolution levels so that any one of the revolution levels of the plurality of the medium feeding parts is different from the other revolution levels thereof, and controls the plurality of medium feeding parts at changed revolution levels.

Battery pack apparatus with a plurality of medium feeding parts for adjusting temperature thereof

A cooling device including an intake duct achieving fluid communication between a vehicle interior and an inner part of a battery case, a fan unit for supplying the air via the intake duct to the inner part of the battery case, and a control device is used. The fan unit includes a fan and a motor driven by a constant voltage system. The control device includes a current value detecting portion and a judging portion. The current value detecting portion detects a current value of an electric current supplied to the motor. The judging portion compares the detected current value and a preset reference current value and, when the detected current value is lower than the reference current value, judges that there is an anomaly in a volume of the air supplied to the battery case.

Cooling device and power supply

There are provided a heater unit and a battery structure with heater, which are capable of heating the battery structure appropriately and preventing a heater (part or whole of the heater) itself from excessively increasing in temperature. A first heater unit is provided with a first sheet heater, a first holding member holding it, and a first sheet placed between a lower surface of a first heater and the first holding member in such a manner as to be deformable in at least a direction of thickness of the first heater. The first heater is deformed when the first heater unit is fixed to the battery pack, thereby pressing the lower surface of the first heater to bring an upper surface of the first heater into close contact with an outer surface (a surface to be heated) of a spaced part of the battery pack.
