A hub is provided for a human-powered vehicle. The hub includes a hub axle, a first rotating body, a second rotating body, a first ratchet member, a second ratchet member and a slider. The first rotating body and the second rotating body are rotatably mounted on the hub axle. The first ratchet member rotates with the first rotating body. The second ratchet member rotates with the second rotating body. The slider rotates with the first rotating body and slide with respect to the second rotating body in a circumferential direction. The slider has a first contact surface in sliding contact with an axially facing surface of the second ratchet member. The slider has a second contact surface in sliding contact with a radially facing surface of the second ratchet member.

Hub for human-powered vehicle

The bicycle hub assembly includes a hub axle, a hub body, a bearing unit, a lock member, and a tool engagement member. The bearing unit is configured to rotatably support the hub body around the hub axle with respect to the rotational center axis. The bearing unit includes an outer race, an inner race and a plurality of rolling members. The lock member prevents the inner race of the bearing unit from rotating relative to the hub axle. The lock member has an outer peripheral surface. The tool engagement member is configured to rotate the inner race of the bearing unit relative to the hub axle. The tool engagement member has an inner peripheral surface. The inner peripheral surface of the tool engagement member is disposed radially outwardly relative to the outer peripheral surface of the lock member.

Bicycle hub assembly

A bicycle hub assembly comprises a hub axle, a hub shell, a sprocket support body, a first ratchet member, a second ratchet member, a first biasing member, at least one receiving member, and a second biasing member. The first ratchet member is provided between the second ratchet member and the first biasing member in an axial direction. The at least one receiving member is provided between the first ratchet member and the first biasing member in a radial direction with respect to a rotational axis. The at least one receiving member includes a radially receiving part having a radially outer surface. The second biasing member contacts the radially outer surface of the radially receiving part to bias the radially receiving part toward the rotational axis in the radial direction.

A bicycle hub has a hub axle, a hub shell, a sprocket support body, first and second ratchet members and a friction member. The hub shell and the sprocket support body are mounted on the hub axle. The first ratchet member has at least one first ratchet tooth and rotates with the sprocket support body. The second ratchet member has at least one second ratchet tooth mating with the first ratchet tooth and rotates with the hub shell. The friction member is configured to rotate with one of the hub shell and the first ratchet member and contacts a contacted member configured to rotate with the other of the hub shell and the first ratchet member. The sprocket support body has a guiding portion that move the first ratchet member and the second ratchet member from each other while coasting.

Bicycle hub

The bicycle hub assembly includes a hub axle, a hub body, a bearing unit, a lock member, and a tool engagement member. The bearing unit is configured to rotatably support the hub body around the hub axle with respect to the rotational center axis. The bearing unit includes an outer race, an inner race and a plurality of rolling members. The lock member prevents the inner race of the bearing unit from rotating relative to the hub axle. The tool engagement member is configured to rotate the inner race of the bearing unit relative to the hub axle.

A wheel-securing axle secures a wheel to a bicycle body. The axle has a shaft and a one-way clutch mechanism. The axle includes a shaft that has a threaded section and a rotational center axis. The one-way clutch mechanism includes a lock member for contacting the bicycle body. The one-way clutch mechanism permits relative rotation between the lock member and the shaft in a first direction about the rotational center axis and limits relative rotation between the lock member and the shaft in a second direction. The lock member limits relative rotation between the shaft and the bicycle body in the first direction when the lock member contacts the bicycle body.

Bicycle wheel-securing axle

A bicycle wheel securing structure is basically provided with an axle member, a head member, a lever member and an adjusting member. The axle member is at least partially hollow, and includes a first end portion, a second end portion and a vehicle body engagement portion. The vehicle body engagement portion is provided to the second end portion for engaging a bicycle frame. The head member is disposed on the first end portion. The lever member is configured to turn the head member around an axis between a first position and a second position. The lever member presses the head member from the first end portion to the second end portion by being turned from the second position to the first position. The adjusting member is provided inside the axle member for adjusting an axial position of the head member.

Bicycle wheel securing structure

The bicycle hub assembly includes a hub axle, a hub body, and a rear-sprocket supporting member. A first axial length is defined between a first axial frame abutment surface of the hub axle and an axially rear-sprocket abutment surface of the rear-sprocket supporting member in the axial direction. The first axial length is smaller than or equal to 38.00 mm. A second axial length is defined between a first axially outer partof the hub body and a second axially outer partof a second spoke-mounting portionof the hub body in the axial direction. The second axial length is larger than or equal to 55.00 mm.

A wheel securing axle includes a shaft that includes a first end portion, a second end portion including a thread, and a shaft axis, a washer rotationally supported by the first end portion of the shaft, and a click mechanism arranged between the shaft and the washer.

Wheel securing axle and bicycle hub assembly

A bicycle wheel securing structure is provided with a shaft member, a head member, a lever member, an adjustment member and a positioning mechanism. The shaft member has a first end portion, a second end portion and an engaging part. The head member is movably disposed on the first end portion. The lever member is movably provided on the head member around a pivot axis that intersects with an axial direction of the shaft member to move the shaft member in the axial direction with respect to the head member. The adjustment member is movably provided on the head member in the axial direction and that can adjust a final fixing position of the lever member. The positioning mechanism is provided between the head member and the adjustment member to selectively maintain a position of the adjustment member in a plurality of axially spaced apart locations.

A bicycle wheel securing structure comprises a wheel securing axle and a wheel securing bolt. The wheel securing axle has a first end and a second end. The wheel securing bolt has a bolt shaft and a bolt head. The bolt shaft is coupled to one of the first and second ends of the wheel securing axle. The wheel securing bolt has a frame engageable surface extending in a peripheral direction of the bolt head and is configured to be non-rotatably engaged with a bicycle frame.
