A hot-dip plated steel sheet includes a hot-dip plated layer formed on a surface of a steel sheet, the hot-dip plated layer contains 4 to 22 mass % of Al and 1.0 to 10 mass % of Mg with a remainder including Zn and impurities. A pattern portion and a non-pattern portion are formed in the hot-dip plated layer. An element concentrated region containing an element M and an interface alloy layer containing Fe and Al are present at an interface between the steel sheet and the hot-dip plated layer in the pattern portion. An average concentration of the element M contained in the hot-dip plated layer present in the pattern portion and the element concentrated region is 0.0010 to 2 mass %. In the element concentrated region, the element M is concentrated two or more times the hot-dip plated layer present in the pattern portion, or the element M is unevenly distributed.

A control device includes an acquirer, a timing detector, a controller, and a driver. The acquirer acquires an output voltage from a light detector for receiving laser light scanned by a light source and a deflector. The timing detector detects reference timings of the laser light on forward and backward paths in a scanning direction based on the output voltage. The controller generates a control signal for causing the light source and the deflector to draw a forward path image on a scanned surface from time obtained by adding a time to the reference timing on the forward path and to draw a backward path image on the surface from time obtained by adding a time to the reference timing on the backward path. The driver draws the images by driving the deflector, based on the control signal.

An optical deflector is used for optically scanning a target surface. The optical deflector includes: a mirror device configured to include a mirror capable of oscillating; and a casing configured to include a window unit for facing the mirror device, and to accommodate the mirror device. The window unit has a transmissive reflection structure in which part of an incident beam is caused to transmit through the window unit toward the mirror, and at least part of a remainder of the incident beam is reflected by the window unit to a direction separated from an optical deflection range that is deflected by the mirror device, and the transmissive reflection structure includes a diffraction grating provided on one of a front surface and a back surface of the window unit.
