A connector includes an outer housing including an engagement catch, an inner housing and a sliding member. The inner housing includes an engagement latch, and a pair of locking arms each provided with the engagement latch. The inner housing includes a slide channel having the pair of locking arms disposed at both sides. The sliding member includes a pair of latching arms each provided with a latch. When the first housing and the second housing are engaged with each other, the first housing and the second housing allow the sliding member to pass through the slide channel, and when the sliding member slides the slide channel, the pair of latching arms are deflected so as to decrease a gap therebetween by depressions from the respective locking arms.

Downsizing of a connector having a connector position assurance function

A connector includes an outer housing, an inner housing provided with an engagement latch, a slide channel, and rails each being a groove, and a sliding member provided with support arms engaged with the respective rails, and a protrusion to latch the engagement latch. The slide channel is formed with a slide surface extending along the rail. The support arms each include a lower surface facing the slide surface, and an upper surface inclined relative to the slide surface. The groove forming the rail is formed as a recess including a bottom surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface. The second side surface faces the upper surface of the support arm, and is formed at an inclination angle corresponding to that of the upper surface.

Connector with sliding member

A connector includes an outer housing, an inner housing, and a sliding member. The inner housing includes a protrusion catch and a slide channel including a slide surface, and to be engaged with the outer housing. The sliding member includes a protrusion to latch the protrusion catch, and a lower surface. The lower surface faces with the slide surface, and includes a plane part, and a thickened part upraised from the plane. The thickened part is formed with an offset surface offset from the plane of the lower surface, formed at a position contacting the slide surface, and formed as a plane.

A connector terminal includes first and second arm parts, an interconnection part, a first contactor formed of a piece of sheet which is in a bent shape so as to have the first end laid over on a second end of the sheet with reference to a bent part that is an opposite side to a side where the first end of the sheet and the second end thereof are present, and a second contactor formed of a piece of sheet which is in a bent shape so as to have the first end laid over on a second end of the sheet with reference to a bent part that is an opposite side to a side where the first end of the sheet and the second end thereof are located, and the second contactor facing the first contactor.

Connector terminal, electrical connector, and method for manufacturing connector terminal

A connector housing includes a terminal housing in which at least one connector terminal electrically connecting two printed circuit boards to each other is housed. The terminal housing includes a holder for holding the at least one connector terminal therewith, the holder being elastically deformable in accordance with a displacement of the at least one connector terminal.

An electric connector includes a first connector including a first housing in which an inner space is formed, and a second connector including a second housing insertable into the inner space, the first housing including in the inner space a lock engagement portion, the second housing including a lock arm having a lock projection to be engaged with the lock engagement portion, the first housing including in the inner space at least one rib extending in a first direction in which the second housing is inserted into the inner space, the lock arm being formed with a guide space into which the rib is able to be inserted when the second housing is inserted into the inner space.

A lock arm formed on a second housing fit into a first housing including a lock unit, includes an elastically deformable lock arm body, first and second legs connecting the lock arm body to the second housing with a gap therebetween, a lock portion to be locked to the lock unit, and an extension obliquely extending from the lock arm body, wherein when the extension is pushed towards the lock arm body, the lock arm body is deformed, then, the extension makes contact with the lock arm body, and then, the lock arm body is deformed with the first and second legs acting as fulcrums and further with an abutment point acting as a working point to thereby allow the lock portion to be released from the lock unit, the extension and the lock arm body making contact with each other at the abutment point.

An electric connector to be mounted on a printed circuit board, includes a housing having an inner space into which a second electric connector is inserted in a direction in which a plane of the printed circuit board is extensive, and at least one fixer through which the housing is fixed on the printed circuit board, the fixer including an extending portion extending from a floor portion of the housing towards outside of the housing, and making contact at a lower surface thereof with a surface of the printed circuit board, the extending portion being fixed at a lower surface thereof on the surface of the printed circuit board to cause the electric connector to be fixed on the surface of the printed circuit board.
