A printing device is provided with a print head having a plurality of nozzles configured to eject ink droplets therefrom, a supplier configured to supply ink contained in a container to the print head, and a controller. The controller is configured to perform obtaining ink information having correlation with a height of a liquid surface of the ink contained in the container, obtaining subject image data representing an image to be printed, generating print data based on the subject image data, and causing the print head to eject ink droplets based on the print data. The generating includes adjusting the print data in accordance with the ink information.

A first cover moves between a first closed position and a first open position. The first cover is located at another end of a housing when the first cover is located at the first closed position. A second cover moves between a second closed position and a second open position. The second cover is located closer to one end than the first cover is at the first closed position and at the second closed position. A first portion of a first conveyance path is formed between the first cover and the second cover at the first closed position and at the second closed position. A second portion of a second conveyance path is formed at a side of the second cover facing the one end at the second closed position. When the first cover opens the first portion, the second cover is located at the second closed position.

An image forming apparatus includes a casing having a front end and a rear end, a first tray, a first print engine, a second tray, a second print engine and a controller. The controller configured to perform: receiving first image data representing the first image and second image data representing the second image; executing a first process including a first conveying process and a first recording process; executing a second process including a second conveying process and a second recording process; determining whether an error has occurred in the second process; and in a case where the error has occurred in the second process, stopping the second process while continuing the first process.

In an image-recording device, a mount body detachably holds a cartridge. The cartridge has a first chamber configured to store consumable therein. A tank is in communication with the cartridge, and the tank has a second chamber. Consumable in the first chamber is capable of moving into the second chamber. A controller determines whether a residual quantity of consumable stored in the first chamber of the cartridge held by the mount body is lower than or equal to a prescribed threshold. The controller expands, when a specific condition is satisfied, a maximum quantity of consumable up to which consumable is capable of being stored in the second chamber. The specific condition includes a first condition that the residual quantity of consumable stored in the first chamber is higher than the prescribed threshold, and a second condition that information notifying that the cartridge is to be replaced is received.

A liquid consuming system includes: an installation case configured to receive a cartridge having a first liquid chamber storing a liquid; a tank including a second liquid chamber; a flow path configured to communicate with the second liquid chamber and the first liquid chamber of the cartridge installed in the installation case; a head communicated with the second liquid chamber; a first communication interface; and a controller system configured to: determine a residual amount including at least an amount of liquid in the second liquid chamber of the tank; determine whether the determined residual amount reaches a predetermined amount; and based on determining that the determined residual amount reaches the predetermined amount, transmit first information through the first communication interface, the first information indicating an order instruction of the cartridge.

A non-transitory storage medium stores a program readable by a computer of an information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes a communication interface configured to communicate with a printing apparatus. When executed by the computer, the program causes the information processing apparatus to perform: creating irreversibly-compressed data representing a to-be-printed image and reversibly-compressed data representing the to-be-printed image as print image data, the to-be-printed image being an image to be printed on a sheet, the print image data being image data for printing; and transmitting the created print image data to the printing apparatus.

An image forming apparatus includes a first read device configured to read a first surface of an original document in a main scanning direction and to produce a first band data. The image forming apparatus still further includes an image data processor configured to produce printing band data by combining the first band data with the second band data, during the reading of at least one of the first surface and the second surface. Inkjet printer

An inkjet printer includes: a print head; a maintaining unit; a timing unit; a notifying unit; a maintenance command determining unit; and a maintenance operation executing unit. The print head is formed with one or more ink ejection opening for printing a printing medium by ejecting ink through the ink ejection opening. The maintaining unit restores the ink ejection state of the print head by flowing ink through the ink ejection opening. The timing unit keeps track of an elapsed time after the maintaining unit has executed a maintenance operation. The notifying unit notifies a user when it is time to execute a maintenance operation if the elapsed time measured by the timing unit exceeds a prescribed time. The maintenance command determining unit determines whether or not the user has issued a command to execute a maintenance operation with the maintaining unit after the notifying unit has issued a notification. The maintenance operation executing unit executes a maintenance operation with the maintaining unit when the maintenance command determining unit determines that the user has issued a command to execute the maintenance operation.

A recording apparatus includes: a carriage having a recording head, a movement unit that reciprocally moves the carriage, a carriage detection unit, a point-of-origin detection unit that detects the position of a point of origin of the carriage, a regulation unit capable of restricting the movement of the carriage, and a control unit that selectably performs one of a first initialization processing and a second initialization processing longer in time than the first initialization processing. The control unit selects one of the first initialization processing and the second initialization processing on the basis of whether movement of the carriage is restricted and whether a travel distance of the carriage corresponds to a predetermined distance, when the movement unit moves the carriage from a position of origin toward the regulation unit.
