A lighting device includes multiple modules each having an array of LED chip connection pads, provided in groups, each group having a set of connection pads connected in parallel, with the groups being in series with each other. An optical unit is provided for shaping the light output from LED chips mounted on the pads. The groups are defined to minimize an overall spacing of the pads within the groups to mix light from the LEDs mounted on the connection pads.

Techniques for heat sinks and cold plates for compute systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a heat sink includes two sub-heat sinks that are mechanically connected but thermally isolated. The two sub-heat sinks can independently cool different dies on the same integrated circuit component. In another embodiment, a system includes an integrated circuit component that is cooled by a first water block and a second water block. The first water block forms a loop with a gap in it, and the second water block has a pedestal that extends through the gap in the first water block to contact the integrated circuit component. The first water block and the second water block can independently cool different dies on the same integrated circuit component.

A beamforming method includes obtaining feature data. The feature data includes at least one of feature data of a terminal device or feature data of a cell. The feature data of the terminal device represents azimuth information of the terminal device, and the feature data of the cell represents load information of the cell and distribution information of the terminal device. The beamforming method further includes obtaining a beamforming parameter based on the feature data and a machine learning model. The beamforming parameter includes at least one of a beam direction, a beam width, or a quantity of beams. The beamforming method further includes performing beamforming on a first signal based on the beamforming parameter.
