An absorbent article has a planar direction and a thickness direction. The absorbent article includes a volatile first functional component, a volatile second functional component, water-disintegrable microcapsules that contain the second functional component, and a solvent that keeps the second functional component contained inside the microcapsules. Between a liquid-permeable layer and an absorption layer, the absorbent article has functional composition coated regions that extend in the planar direction and that are coated with the functional composition, and has adhesive coated regions that extend in the planar direction and that are coated with an adhesive. The adhesive coated regions have an adhesive region that directly or indirectly joins the liquid-permeable payer and the absorption layer.

Absorbent article

The composition for producing neural stem cells provided by the present invention contains an artificially synthesized synthetic peptide having a neural stem cell-inducing peptide sequence that induces neural stem cells from fibroblasts, and one or two or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. The neural stem cell-inducing peptide sequence is any of (i) an amino acid sequence constituting a signal peptide of any protein belonging to the amyloid precursor protein (APP) family, (ii) a partial amino acid sequence of the amino acid sequence of (i), and (iii) a modified amino acid sequence of the amino acid sequence of (i) or (ii).

Method for producing neural stem cells using synthetic peptide

Provided are a synthetic peptide that induces the reprogramming of a differentiated cell, a reprogramming-inducing pharmaceutical composition that contains this synthetic peptide, and a method for producing an undifferentiated cell from a differentiated cell using this synthetic peptide. The peptide provided by the present invention is a synthetic peptide having a reprogramming-inducing peptide sequence formed of the amino acid sequence given by SEQ ID NO: 1 or a modified amino acid sequence thereof. The method for producing an undifferentiated cell provided by the present invention includes inducing the reprogramming of a target cell by culturing a cell culture which contains the target cell and to which the synthetic peptide has been supplied.

Synthetic peptide and use thereof

An absorbent article that has a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorber, and a liquid-permeable top-layer sheet is joined with a skin contact surface side of the topsheet. The top-layer sheet is arranged along a lengthwise direction in a central portion of a widthwise direction of the absorbent article, and non-joined regions that are not joined with the topsheet are provided at both widthwise ends of the top-layer sheet. An absorbent article that is worn by a user, including: a main body section of the absorbent article; an absorbent body that includes an absorbent member absorbing liquid, that has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction, that is superposed on a user side of the main body section, whose one end section of the longitudinal direction is joined to the main body section at a first joined section, and whose another end section of the longitudinal direction is joined to the main body section at a second joined section; and a restricting member that is disposed between the first joined section and the second joined section in the longitudinal direction, and that restricts relative shifting between the main body section and the absorbent body when the main body section and the absorbent body that are superposed are folded.

An absorbent article adapted to be worn on a body includes an absorbent article main body having a longitudinal direction, a width direction perpendicular thereto, and a thickness direction perpendicular thereto; and an absorbent body overlapping the absorbent article main body along the longitudinal direction. One end section in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body is undetachably joined to the absorbent article main body, and another end section in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body is detachably joined to the absorbent article main body. A section of the absorbent body on a wearer-facing side that is positioned on a body side in use and that does not oppose the absorbent article main body is easier to elongate in the width direction than a section of the absorbent body on an non-wearer-facing side that opposes the absorbent article main body.

Absorbent article and absorbent body

An absorbent article adapted to be worn by a user includes a main body section and an absorbent body that has an absorbent member for absorbing fluid, that has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction, that is superposed on a face of the main body section on a user side. The absorbent body further has one end section in the longitudinal direction joined to the main body section on a first joined section, and another end section in the longitudinal direction joined to the main body section on a second joined section. A length of the absorbent body between the first joined section and the second joined section is equal to or more than a length of the main body section between the first joined section and the second joined section.

Provided is an absorptive article having absorption elements capable of following the wearer's body of a user. This absorptive article comprises at least a generally rectangular base absorption element, a top absorption element disposed on one surface of the base absorption element at substantially lateral center of the base absorbent and along the longitudinal direction of the base absorbent, and a fixing part for fixing the base absorption element to the top absorption element so that at least one end of the top absorption element in the longitudinal direction thereof is made to be a free end. A locking part is provided on the base absorption element side contact surface of the top absorption element near the free end. The locking part is locked to the base absorption element at a position where the top absorption element is so moved as to extend along the gluteal cleft of the user.

Absorptive article

Provided is an absorptive article having absorption elements capable of following the body of a user. This absorptive article () comprises a generally rectangular base absorption element (), a top absorption element () disposed on one surface of the base absorption element () at substantially lateral center of the base absorption element () and along the longitudinal direction of the base absorption element (), and a fixing part () for fixing the base absorption element () to the top absorption element () so that at least one end of the top absorption element () in the longitudinal direction thereof is made to be a free end (). A temporary locking part () for restricting the movement of the top absorption element () is provided on the top absorption element () near a free end part () thereof at least before application of the absorptive article to the body of the user.

An absorbent article having a substantially oblong shape, which is superior in liquid-proof performance and fitness, includes a liquid permeable top sheet, a back sheet, an absorbent body having elasticity disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, and a compressed portion compressing the top sheet and the absorbent body. The compressed portion is disposed continuously to form a protrusion in a longitudinal direction to define a substantially U shape. The absorbent portion has a low elasticity portion, disposed on one part of the absorbent body, and formed so that elasticity weakens when compression to a prescribed thickness is carried out. The low elasticity portion is disposed in the vicinity of an end protruding the most in the longitudinal direction of the substantially U shape.

The invention provides an absorbent article that is small and that can be easily worn by a user and a method for producing the absorbent article. The absorbent article that is used in abutment against a user's body includes: an absorbent body for absorbing fluid; and an absorbent-article main body whose face on a side close to the user's body in use is joined to the absorbent body. The absorbent body has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction. One end section of the absorbent body in the longitudinal direction is undetachably joined to the absorbent-article main body, and another end section of the absorbent body in the longitudinal direction is detachably joined to a portion inside an outer edge of the absorbent-article main body. The absorbent body has a non-joined section that is not joined to the absorbent-article main body, between the joined section on a side close to the other end section and the outer edge of the absorbent-article main body.

An apparatus for manufacturing an absorbent body for an absorbent article includes a conveying mechanism for conveying a continuous absorbent sheet, a slitting mechanism configured so that a plurality of slitting blades are pressed against the absorbent sheet conveyed by the conveying mechanism, the slitting blades extending in a predetermined direction, a cutting mechanism for cutting the absorbent sheet against which the slitting blades are pressed and forming the absorbent body, and a stretching mechanism arranged upstream of the cutting mechanism and for stretching, in a direction orthogonal to the predetermined direction, the absorbent sheet against which the slitting blades are pressed, and forming slits in the absorbent sheet.

Method of manufacturing absorbent article, manufacturing apparatus for absorbent body, and absorbent article manufactured thereby

An absorbent article, in which an erroneous impression of replacement time is not given to a wearer, includes an absorbent body, a front sheet covering the absorbent body, and a rear sheet, a pair of masking members being disposed along a longitudinal direction of the absorbent body, close to two ends of a short direction of the absorbent body, the masking members being of porous film having pores continuous in the direction of thickness, the thickness thereof preferably being 0.4 mm or greater under a load of 20 g/cm. By this means, seepage of fluid at the side margins of the front sheet is deferred and misunderstanding of replacement time by the wearer is prevented.
